Hi,

I was trying to mine myriad with minderd which works quite well with cpuminer. But all I get are "boooos".  Sad

2  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: JSECOIN easy mining with CPU , at the same time as your usual mining on: October 29, 2018, 01:12:24 PM
Hi,

I've been mining via the Desktop App all day without getting a single coin. I know there's a lottery system behind it but this is unusual.
Any idea what's going on?
Thx.

Hi,

I'm mining with bfgminer via Moonlander2.
For a few days now I've been giving the auto switch feature a try. I created a hub worker, selected the algo (scrypt) and started. Mostly it's gamecredits and verge which are mined.
What I noticed is when it switches to verge, bfgminer shows a red message "all pools are dead". But the worker keeps hashing and creates coins. Also the accepted block counter in bfgminer keeps going up.
Can anyone shed some light on this?  Smiley

Thx a lot. I'll try them.
But why doesn't bfgminer just spit out a message like "wrong coin, silly"?  Grin

Hi there,

I just bought a Moonlander2 and tried mining some myriad coins bec. they're easy to make. Unfortunately I'm not getting it to work. Then I tried Vertcoin. Also without luck.
In the bfgminer batch file I just added the address, user name and pw.
The bfgminer starts fine, hashing with 3.something MHz and the worker appears in my account. But he stays inactive.
The pool hash rate in the program windows remains at 0. Also I have no accepted shares.
It shows this:

I thought this was due to the wrong difficulty. I read in this thread that actually 128, 256, 512 and 1024 should be working fine. I tried them all, without success.
I also registered at another pool for Litecoins and started mining immediately without issues. So this is probably something related to this pool.

Any ideas where I went wrong?

Hi there,

I've got a general question which should be easy to answer.
I'm just playing around with cpuminer-yescrypt. Right now I'm pool mining myriadcoin. The rate is like 1.3 khash/s on my spare PC with a dual core CPU which is fine. The intention is not to earn any money. I'm just curious and happy when things are working.

The Moonlander 2 is supposed to have a hashrate of 3-5 MH/s. I'm pretty sure I'm overseeing something here. It's just a USB drive with a tiny fan. How can I compare these rates? It's unlikely that the Moonlander has a rate that much higher than my PC CPU.

Thx in advance.

It has 1 ASIC chip, thus it's hasrate is much higgher than CPU or GPU.
Thx a lot for the clarification.
