1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: My Bitconnect Daily Update Thread - NOT A PROMOTING THREAD on: September 19, 2017, 08:51:55 AM
i figure they will exit right before the lending time (299d) for most users has passed and they would have to pay back too much at once.

Yeah but they only have 6000 members in the actual lending system right now. I feel like they will not exit until atleast middle of 2018
Where do you get the no. of members from?

Is there a way to specify the power limit within the bat file. Thanks for the help

Why would it take 2-3 weeks to build???

3L is a lot. where are you based? make sure that your electrical setup can take the load coz that much money will add 2-3kW to your load (very rough estimate)

Anyways, the main component you should focus on is the GPU. While the 7990 is the fastest in terms f hash rate/card, it is too expensive and as a result not the best in terms of Rs./khash.

For 3L, you can build 3 rigs (unless you can get your hands on some powered risers) - Config:

GPU: R9 280x ~23-25k (gives you about ~700 kh/s) 2-3 on each rig
MB: Gigabye UD3 ~9,500
CPU: AMD Sempron 145 ~1,800
RAM: 2GB Kingston/Corsair ~2,200
PSU: Seasonic/Corsair/CoolerMaster
        650w ~3.5-4,000 - will barely take 2 280x's (i wouldnt risk it)
        850w ~9-11,000 - will take 2 280x's
        1000w ~ 12.5-14,000 - will take 3 280x's

For the PSU, you can choose to go with multiple 650w's on each rig in order to reduce cost. Use a 2PSU cable.

Considering you plan to add a GPU later....

MB: Gigabye UD3 ~9,500
CPU: AMD Sempron 145 ~1,800
RAM: 2GB Kingston/Corsair ~2,200
PSU: Seasonic/Corsair/CoolerMaster
        650w ~3.5-4,000 - will barely take 2 280x's (i wouldnt risk it)
        850w ~9-11,000 - will take 2 280x's + 1 270x
        1000w ~ 12.5-14,000 - will take 3 280x's
GPU: R9 280x ~23-25k (gives you about ~700 kh/s)
        R9 270x ~15-17k (~450kh/s)

I would go with a 280x and add another later.

If your mother board can fit the 280x, you have the option of going with an open system as well.
wemineltc is the best pool out there. been using for a while now. never any issues.

please save your time & more importantly money! DO NOT mine btc with ANY cpu. It's not worth it. You can try scryptcoins with a GPU. THe least expensive one that is worth it is the 270x, which will cost you 15-17k. I would recommend going with a 280x though for about 23-25k
8  Local / Mining (India) / Re: Suggest Mining Computer Configuration ! on: February 03, 2014, 02:52:14 PM
PTseller im using saphire & MSI 280x's for scryptcoins. Getting 730mhs out of each sapphire. 700 out of the MSI.
Config:
setx GPU_MAX_ALLOC_PERCENT 95
Sapphire
cgminer --scrypt -o stratum+tcp://..... -u USERNAME -p PASSWORD --intensity 13  --gpu-threads 1 --thread-concurrency 10240 --auto-fan --temp-target 80 --gpu-powertune 18 --gpu-engine 1040 --gpu-memclock 1500 --gpu-vddc 1.00
MSI
gpu-engine 1050.

As far as availability, both are very easily available in nehru place. I got one this past friday.
9  Local / Mining (India) / Re: Suggest me miners please on: February 03, 2014, 02:45:38 PM
With your budget, please dont invest into BTC mining. I believe even a group buy would be hardly worth it.
15k wont get you even 5 ghs from any of the manufacturers (cointerra, kncminer, extremetech, bitfury etc).
A rig is a computer set up to mine. At this stage you would need a decent GPU - the lowest, R9 270x costs about 15-17k. Considering that the GPU alone eats up your entire budget, you have three options.

  • Increase your budget to atleast 30k. Though 40k would get you better results
  • Use the 15k to buy and trade coins
  • Invest into a FD and earn 9%

If you do decide to invest more towards a rig, come back and drop a line. Im sure someone will help you out with configuration.
10  Local / Mining (India) / Re: ASRock H81 Pro BTC on: February 03, 2014, 02:29:53 PM
guys in delhi, the ASROCK H81M-HDS (1150) is available for 3890 & the H81M-VG4 (1150) for 3490. It would be foolish to pay $120 or even 80-90 for it. Trusted Source: costtocost.in/list/pricelist.pdf. I have been a their customer for some time. and im sure they'll ship to wherever you are.
11  Local / Mining (India) / Re: LITECOIN MINING RIG HELP ME pls :) !!!!! on: February 03, 2014, 02:23:31 PM
romiferns - a 650w psu will be good for the 290x. You can probably get away with a 550w, if you can find one. Get a good brand. Never skimp on the PSU.
12  Local / Mining (India) / Re: Your miner configuration on: February 03, 2014, 02:11:49 PM
Hey desijays

A lot depends on what your buget is?
As far as bang for the buck, go with the cheapest CPU (Sempron 145), a mobo with atleast 3 PCIe16x slots (Gigabyte UD3 ....risers are hard to find in india), for GPU I find the 280x offer the best hash/rupee value. The 7990 offers the best hash per slot followed by the 290x, PSU - Cooler Master/Corsair - atleast 250watts per gpu (Look for high efficiency one. atleast 85%+). RAM - you can probably get by with 1 GB, but i've got atleast 2gb on each of my rigs.

You will find prices to be cheaper at shops over web. All of these are easy to find if you know where to look.

I've currently got 3 rigs going with 2 R9 280x's on each. Waiting for risers so i can add more. 5 are sapphires & 1 is msi. Prefer the sapphires... getting about 30khs over the MSI.

Have decent CPU's running on 2 rigs for protoshare (cpu mining now dead with gpu miner available), XPM & quarks(diff too high). Been mining dimecoin with the cpu's last couple've weeks.

Rig A
PSU - Cooler Master 1000W M2 http://[Suspicious link removed]/LH9Fc6. Price - 13k
MB - Gigabyte GA-990XA-UD3 http://[Suspicious link removed]/1ekp6Tv. Price - 9k
CPU - AMD FX-8320 http://[Suspicious link removed]/1k3oNic. Price 9.8k

Rig B
PSU - Cooler Master 850W M2 Price - 10k
MB - ASUS H87 Pro http://[Suspicious link removed]/1n7cBdA Price 9.5k
CPU - i5 4670k http://[Suspicious link removed]/1ekpYHG Price 14.5k

Rig C
PSU - PSU - Cooler Master 850W M2 Price - 10k
MB - Gigabyte GA-990XA-UD3 http://[Suspicious link removed]/1ekp6Tv. Price - 9k
CPU - AMD Sempron 145 Price -1.9k (I have an extra one that was used for 2 weeks on Rig B. Willing to sell it for 1k)

Hope this helps
