1  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Reporting Mt. Gox to the Japan Financial Services Agency on: June 28, 2011, 05:21:05 AM
Naaaah, you think so?  Grin
2  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: "Come Clean Thursday" - 2010 FBAR due to IRS June 30, 2011 on: June 28, 2011, 05:18:35 AM
MtGox may be located in Japan, but Mark is (I think) an American citizen.
I guess if the IRS/FBI/etc. would bark at him, he would fill our FBAR paperwork in no time :-)

Stephen, I am being sarcastic  Grin I know we're the ones supposed to do it, not him  Smiley
3  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bitcoin7 a new exchange on: June 28, 2011, 05:11:06 AM
Bitcoin is nice, but Dwolla and Liberty Reserve withdrawals don't work ("delayed"  Grin ) for a while now...
4  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Daytrading/speculating strategies on: June 28, 2011, 05:08:28 AM
Arbitrage seems to be more profitable today.
Tomorrow... is another day  Grin
5  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: mtgox to libertyreserve - withdrawal not there after 12 hours. normal? on: June 28, 2011, 05:06:27 AM
My withdrawals to LR usually take 24 hours.
6  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: "Come Clean Thursday" - 2010 FBAR due to IRS June 30, 2011 on: June 28, 2011, 05:05:15 AM
Than only leaves us 2 days to report all our exchange accounts? Jeez, that's not a lot of time  Grin
How do I know MtGox has not reported my account already? I would hate to burden the IRS with double work...
7  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do the people running Mt. Gox trade on their own exchange? on: June 28, 2011, 05:02:31 AM
I guess MagicalTux sells the bitcoins he gets from us (0.65% x 2 = 1.3% of each transaction) on MtGox.
But wait! Isn't he running the exchange? Maybe he does know when the price WILL hit a maximum  Grin
8  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Warning signs of financial fraud on: June 28, 2011, 04:57:17 AM
Mining for Bitcoins is not hard HUMAN work, because the GPUs do the job, not me with a pocket calculator  Grin
However, given the recent difficulty increase, it hardly qualifies as a get rich QUICK scheme  Grin  Grin  Grin
9  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What the hell is going on at MtGox? on: June 28, 2011, 04:53:44 AM
Well, let's not forget that MagicalTux bought MtGox from a guy who started it by reusing code written for a completely different purpose.
I would presume that since the last incident MagicalTux did not have the time and resource to rewrite the entire code, so I guess it's still patchwork...
10  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How many bitcoins are you mining each day? (another pissing contest) on: June 27, 2011, 12:47:44 PM
0.00/day, speculation beats mining these days  Grin

My balance seems to be on the fritz too  Grin
12  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: MtGox Request for Clarification on: June 27, 2011, 12:43:09 PM
I agree. But I want an official answer from MtGox before I move forward on this.
13  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How many bitcoins are you mining each day? (another pissing contest) on: June 26, 2011, 06:56:09 AM
I am mining less than you, but I trade them smarter  Grin
14  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Got all my mining rig gear, should I use windows or linux? on: June 26, 2011, 06:53:53 AM
Vam, +1  Grin
15  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: My concerns with Bitcoin7 and Tradehill on: June 25, 2011, 06:06:53 AM
fxgmblr, MtGox is ONE person, Mark (aka MtGox).
why don't you ask Citibank or BoA if they would take your bitcoins  Grin
16  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: My concerns with Bitcoin7 and Tradehill on: June 25, 2011, 06:05:06 AM
joepie91, can you please explain what exactly it is that you're asking?
17  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Got all my mining rig gear, should I use windows or linux? on: June 24, 2011, 07:31:17 AM
LOL, what a wonderful bias  Grin
18  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: URGENT: What is next and legitimate on MtGox after the security issue? on: June 24, 2011, 07:26:53 AM
I have proof that names and bank accounts were compromised. MtGox did not answer my request for clarification on this matter,
19  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Got all my mining rig gear, should I use windows or linux? on: June 24, 2011, 07:20:28 AM
Linux vs. Windows is as old as ... [choose you favorite Old Testament paragraph here]
Windows is insecure, slower and expensive. Linux is (more) secure, faster (mining included) and FREE.

If you want to reboot your mining rigs every other x hours, get lower hasing rates and your passwords/wallet stolen... go windows!
20  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: 64-bit faster than 32-bit mining? on: June 24, 2011, 07:14:53 AM
Untrue.
