However, you may realize the present distribution is so slow.
The dev said they had about 330 stakes granted two days before.
Now the number is about 350 stakes!
10 stakes per day!!!!!         
At this speed, the distribution will be completed in 2 months!

And the fact is that those who are interested in this coin and also qualified have already involved in. The left are either not interested in this coin or not qualified.

if you look at the graphs on bter almost every coin dropped at the same time.  Wtf?

I have a few questions about POS. I understand that it is better in that it doesn't cost as much energy as POW. I also understand that it is meant to reward those that support the system.
But what I don't understand is why will those that already own lots of coins get more coins during POS instead of those that use their coins instead of just hoarding them? Won't that cause exponential wealth for some and reduce the chances for others to get any coins and become part of the system? Won't that result in a situation similar to the one we have with the current monetary system, interest and compound interest?
Why wouldn't it be a better idea to reward those that actually use the coins and generate lots of transactions? Maybe I misunderstand something or I am missing something but I feel like that would be closer to a cash flow safe currency. And wouldn't that be a good thing?

Anyone have a clue what's a reasonable price prediction a week or a month from now?

Guys, we have a problem.

After sending out to about 35k, our wallet file became corrupted.
we're trying to recover the keys, but it's both encrypted and corrupted and at this point we have no idea how to recover them, if they are even there
(the keys might not even be there, if the client only flushed a part of the file)
If anybody can help out with that, please do so.

As of right now, the first ~35k addresses (we'll check the exact number soon) have been sent to,
and we can't access the remaining coins
so, this is bacially the same as having distributed to only 35k addresses instead of 50k
and the coin is still Fair, just not the exact way we intended.

We're happy to move forward if we have your support, trying to push it into exchanges, gambling sites, stores etc.
if not, we'll scrap the project and try again with lessons learned.

we also have the option of creating another coin and using the faircoin addresses database to distribute the new coin
