161  Economy / Auctions / Re: [WTS] 2x Avalon Batch#2 Avalon ASIC Miners on: July 15, 2013, 12:07:21 AM
Are you people retarded?  People are canceling their batch 3 orders that are 83gh for 73btc because roi in those is nearly impossible even shipped next week,  and here you are bidding nearly double that for each unit?

And why does this bother/concern you?

It really doesn't. Sorry.

Did some more get a refund or a reaction at all?

It was the weekend and it is 5am in China now, I think we should see refunds shortly.
164  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Which ASICs products actually currenly available? Recommendations? on: July 14, 2013, 08:36:02 PM
The table says, butterfly will deliver in september.

They said the same thing last year. September 2015 is more likely.
165  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [ANN] US/North American Bitfury sales now open on: July 14, 2013, 08:27:49 PM
I beleive these are capable of ROI on the august 25G kit, and 25G H-boards for october should have no problem making 1.5-3x ROI if things work out well.

Yeah anyone that gets theirs within a month will make insane ROI. I'm worried about the October 400gh kits, if 1000 of these ship from different asic companies, that's already 3TH and over 400 million difficulty making ROI 4-5 months. But difficulty will keep going up and up. As long as we can get refund or even partial refund in case difficulty goes bonkers before they ship, would be great.
166  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [ANN] US/North American Bitfury sales now open on: July 14, 2013, 04:42:41 PM
So if the difficulty rises to non-ROI levels before these ship we can get a refund? I am mostly worried about the October orders as that is going to be an insane time with so many companies slated to ship by then.
167  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Avalon orders - batch #3 refund requests thread on: July 14, 2013, 01:18:56 AM
I went ahead and submitted my refund request through the google form and also submitted a ticket stating I did so.

I was one of the first Batch 3 orders but I now doubt my ability to make ROI even with "free" electricity.

Yep same here, submitted ticked for refund, if they offered even 30btc refund we could see ROI.
168  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Avalon orders - batch #3 refund requests thread on: July 13, 2013, 05:31:37 PM
If I were you I'd submit the google form now at least, I don't think they are going to answer your ticket that quickly. At least fill whatever you can out and submit it.
169  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Avalon Batch #3 & More on: July 13, 2013, 05:30:35 PM
Yeah i submitted a refund ticket, nobody is going to bid on your avalon more than you paid as ROI is nearly impossible to achieve, especially with all the avalon chips, and ASICminer constantly adding new units online. Not counting all those other new companies.
170  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Avalon batch [3] countdown! on: July 13, 2013, 04:47:51 AM
You can either keep your batch three 85 gh/sec 4-unit or pull a refund and buy 600gh/sec from KNC (Jupiter and a Saturn) and get it like two months from now. The latter seems a better bet at this point.

I think this is the best idea. Gamble on an ROI in 5 months to never, or get all money and invest it in a few other things.
171  Bitcoin / Hardware / Will Avalon Batch 3's ever make ROI? on: July 13, 2013, 02:32:46 AM
With KNC/Bitfury/Terrahash/ASICminer/etc + Avalon chips coming online very soon, and no way to recoup Batch 3 costs in 1 month as originally planned by Bitsyncom, do you think ROI is likely?

I tried some numbers and it looks like with the difficulty going up the way it is now it would take 4-5 months to make the coins back. But with all those other companies coming online, I am thinking ROI seems impossible. Someone convince me otherwise, I am contemplating getting a refund  Cry Cry

Is anyone who's tech savvy enough making a pool? You can make a shit ton of coins since everyone would hop right on.
173  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Avalon batch [3] countdown! on: July 12, 2013, 03:00:36 PM
So do you guys think ROI is possible with batch 3's?  With all the avalon chips being sent out, all the new miner companies getting their products ready, ASICminer with their unlimited funds... I tried doing some numbers and it doesn't look good Sad

At 5-7 mil difficulty increase which is currently happening break even is about 4-5 months. But I don't think it will stay that slow as there's a ton of new companies and people getting in.
174  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [XPM] [ANN] Primecoin Release - First Scientific Computing Cryptocurrency on: July 10, 2013, 02:25:04 AM
So does anyone know how many coins are going to be mined total? Is it in the tens of millions or hundreds?
175  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [XPM] [ANN] Primecoin Release - First Scientific Computing Cryptocurrency on: July 09, 2013, 08:47:30 PM
I couldn't find this anywhere, but does anyone know how many coins are ever going to be mined for this? Is it the same as Bitcoin?  Kiss

Damn this luck sucks, we need a pool. I just found a block after 16 hours doing ~100PPS.
177  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Buying Your XPM (PrimeCoin) - For LTC on: July 08, 2013, 07:51:19 PM
Yeah 0.01btc seems like the most fair price, I've beein going for ~16 hours at ~100PPS and just got 19.

We need someone with the know-how to make a pool.

180  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to mine PrimeCoin Mini-Guide on: July 08, 2013, 02:43:36 AM
so what's the difference between running primecoind vs. primecoin.exe itself and mining through it with setgenerate true command? Just you not having to type setgenerate true every time you want to mine?
