Sadly though the market is not impressed yet Sad

It's not easy for the market to be impressed by QORA when BTC is running for a new ATH after 3 years, as soon as BTC goes sideways for a while money will come to the most developed altcoins.

Very true, and hopefully we'll have some neat new things coming around that same time. Smiley

462  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] -NEW BURST OP- MINE ANY FREE SPACE-(HDD MINING)- ATs, AE, P2P MARKET+MORE! on: December 27, 2016, 03:02:06 AM
-[ANNouncement]- BURSTaker asset significantly increased in power - GPU mining being added!

That's right folks, since staking hasn't been going nearly as well as I'd planned, even with 8 dual staking DMD accounts... I've decided to give the asset a significant boost in power Cheesy

The plan is this...

I'm going to purchase as many GPUs as I can with about 4k USD and/or 5BTC. I've already got the other hardware needed, I may need a PSU or two, but for the most part since I've been building multiple farms anyway, I've ordered other hardware, and already have quite a bit of what I will need to accomplish this goal.

So I would say I should be able to add a significant amount of GPU mining power to this asset. This should significantly increase the asset's value, and returns.

My guess would be at least 15 480 GPUs should be able to be purchased (or equivalent), if not more. Will post information on exactly what I was able to acquire once I know for sure.

I'm going to do my best to find the parts as cheap as possible, so it will take about 2 weeks or so for me to acquire the parts, and get them mining towards the asset. Give or take shipping times. Will update when more information is solid.

But every BURSTaker holder should be quite pleased by this addition.

on top of this, I'm going to rework the staking coins that will be backing the asset, I'll be adding OKcoin, and most likely CLAMS.

What I said before about not selling BURST that is made during the release of BURSTaker at 85 still stands. So that will help keep that BURST off the market as well.

Anyway, I'll keep everyone updated on the status, but expect significantly increased payouts from BURSTaker in the near future.

Another idea I was thinking about is making BURSTaker have is to make it weekly payouts once I have the cards up and running.

So, here's the information...

Asset ID - 15208279992621279224

Asset info - 15k DMD coins, all but 5k in dual-stake-rate accounts, adding XQN, OKcoin, and most likely CLAMS to the staking repetoire, and I'll post about the amounts when everything is finalized.

Also now adding at least 15 480 graphics cards (or equivalent) mining for the asset. Will post pictures for everyone once everything starts arriving, will be putting everything together in the next few weeks.

It will take a little time to make these changes, but this is what is going to happen. So get your BURSTaker now in preparation for this massive increase!

ENJOY the enhancements to BURSTaker!

This is great news as this asset is one of my favorites and this is the asset I hold most of out of all the Burst team assets followed by Bsilver. By the way will you be adding any other staking coins to this asset crowetic? or you just going to leave the ones you already have for this asset?

Merry Christmas to you all!

Yes, I will be adding other staking coins as well, I'm thinking OKcoin for sure, and likely something like CLAMS. I'm not 100% on which others, but I know for sure there will be OKcoin added.

But mostly I'm adding a bunch of mining power. Cheesy Mining GPU coins, selling, and purchasing BURST! So the payouts should significantly increase, and hopefully the asset's value as well.

Like I said once I have all of the finalized details on what exactly I'm doing, what exact hardware, exact coins and their amounts I'll be adding to the staking, etc... I'll come in and post that as well.

I'll post pictures of the hardware, etc.

Merry belated Xmas to all!

Merry BURSTmas to all! Cheesy

Nice video.

I have installed the wallet as per your instructions. It was real easy and the wallet synced quickly.
I am going to keep the wallet open all the time.

This is my wallet address - (removed)

a share is on its way Smiley
thank you for helping out and enjoy the dividends to come!

Hello.

Due to posting addresses in the thread the thread could be locked.
Please place your addresses  in your forum profile signature.

Right, I totally forget about this every time. Yes, please post in your signature, and anyone who has quoted this or posted an address in the thread, please remove it. Thanks!

I'm going to reach out to polo and give them the modified jar file that I have, along with linux instructions that I posted a page or so back, hopefully that will resolve their issue temporarily until the dev is finished updating the db.

also...

-DEV UPDATE-

The dev has successfully installed the IDE for QORA, and has repaired all current errors that I gave him from my multiple log files. He is now working on actually upgrading the db to the new version of mapdb.

This means quite a bit for QORA, so anyone else who is willing to donate some more for him, I'm certain he'll get the job done. We have about 4 million QORA so far, and I haven't checked the btc amount, but that is great, but I still think for a job of this nature, a bit more will be good too.

I'm going to go ahead and shoot 200k BURST to the wallet, and another 500k-1million QORA. If anyone else would like to do so as well, that would be great!

I'm hoping I can get this dev interested in doing further work for QORA, he's an amazing developer and we'd be very lucky to have him doing more![/b]

Thanks everyone. I'll reach out to polo now.

-[ANNouncement]- The 'first' QORA asset - AutoFaucet!

This is an idea for an asset that a team member came up with, his name is @nameless, and he runs many successful BURST assets, including one that donates funding to the BURST development team.

The idea is...

The asset is going to be GIVEN AWAY for FREE. The asset's goal is to incentivize people to stay active in QORA. Keep their wallets open, and support the network while we're taking care of little issues and making QORA what it is capable of being!

The asset will be given to anyone who posts their ID in the forums. Random dividends will be paid at random times, so keep those wallets open and see the random magic that is AutoFaucet!

This will be the first of many new assets to come to QORA, from our team!

TEXT INSTRUCTIONS (this includes my modified Jar file that doesn't crash the chain db upon close, but it is 64bit only at this time)

Download the Universal wallet with modified jar from here (Includes a fully sync'd chain from December 21st, 2016) - https://cloud.hearwe.chat/index.php/s/MhzfgjDNX6RZJ32

Download Java 64 bit installer from here (this is Windows installer, direct download link hosted by me) - https://cloud.hearwe.chat/index.php/s/ksEs5r1PlQbYP5H

-INSTALL 64bit Java (you can look up for instructions on how to do this for linux in my previous post, this set of instructions is Windows) Double click on the exe file and follow instructions.

-Extract your QORA Universal folder (This includes a fully sync'd chain as of December 21st, 2016)

-Run 'run.bat' inside the wallet folder
**note - you can move this folder to any location on any drive, it's basically a 'portable' QORA wallet installation. The chain, wallet, and all necessary files are all stored with it in the same folder)

-Click 'create new wallet' when the GUI comes up for QORA (DO NOT CLOSE THE CMD PROMPT WITH QORA RUNNING WHEN YOU RUN THE RUN.BAT, OR YOU WILL CLOSE YOUR WALLET, THIS CMD WINDOW MUST STAY OPEN IN THE UNIVERSAL WALLET)

-BACKUP YOUR SEED and create a SECURE password for your wallet
**note - the seed will be necessary if your wallet db gets corrupted and/or you would like to restore your wallet at another time on another system. I recommend backing it up to a txt file, then encrypting the text file with 7zip or some similar archive program, making encrypted zip file. Then back it up in multiple locations. Alternatively you can print out the seed and save a paper wallet backup.

-Let the wallet sync (this should happen very quickly as the download includes a fully sync'd chain

-Keep your wallet open

-Post your wallet address here and you'll be sent some assets

-Keep your wallet open for your random QORA payouts and enjoy the fun!

poloniex not release my coins after 120+ hours.

did you send a ticket in to them?

The db is in process of being replaced, and I have this temporary jar I can send them as well until the db replacement itself is complete, which shouldn't be much longer, then we can release a new version officially.

-[ANNouncement]- BURST4ALL Asset Release! - The asset to assist Android miners in creating viability!

BURST4ALL asset!

Asset ID - 17374526332841192454

Total number of assets - 1M

Description:

B4A asset provides the opportunity for investors to be a part of the future of alternative mining in BURST, by investing into the structure that supports it.

As BURST penetrates a global market, the B4A team hopes to capture .01% of the existing live Andriod and alternative devices market share, and direct it to the BURST mining network, potentially bringing 1-2 petabytes of the alternative device mining capabilities to the network promoting the BURST ecosystem and providing a more even distribution of BURSTcoin.

The BURST4ALL team plan, consists of a mining pool with large dedicated miners and a dedicated support team in chat, and of course, the B4A asset.

The pool (pool.burst4all.com) has a very high limit on deadline submission, which allows many high deadlines from smaller miners. This will allow traffic from smaller miners with less than 500GB of capacity to accrue historic block shares and BURST. Additionally, the B4A pool has at least 2 dedicated miners totaling 100+TB, and plans to increase this.

LARGER MINERS PLEASE MINE HERE - http://devpool.burst4all.com

There are 2 separate pools
, one for the smaller miners, and one for the larger and dedicated asset miners. The larger pool will have a fee of 1% to incentivize other large miners to mine there.

90% of BOTH the dedicated miners we have there, and 90% of the 1% pool fee of the larger pool, will be paid out as dividends to the asset holders with the remaining 10% sent to the BONUS wallet of the smaller miner pool to incentivize and make it make sense to mine on the android devices. Giving the android miners MUCH more, and providing a lot of incentive to plot more space on your android or other device to obtain a larger portion of the small miner historic share, and getting more of the bonus payouts sent to the pool Smiley

The SUPPORT team will consist of Goodplanets-Lex, Focus, Crowetic, Iceburst, haitch, MikeMike and newsense, and will grow as the community grows.

25% of the asset will be split in the following throughout members of the BURST4ALL team... (numbers represent percentages)

8 - focus
4 - lex
4 - ice
2.75 - me
3 - haitch
2.75 - mikemike
.5 - newsense

PLEASE NOTE - ANY LARGER MINER FOUND MINING ON THE SMALLER MINER POOL, WILL BE IMMEDIATELY IP BANNED WITH EXTREME PREJUDICE! Cheesy This is to help the android miners, NOT to exploit for personal gain, this is not what BURST community is about, so I really hope we don't see big miners mining on the smaller pool!

Also, we're open to donations from the community to be sent to the Android miners as well, if interested in donating, please donate to this address...

BURST-QTU7-KL8L-TL4D-69AXN - pool fee wallet (make large donations here)

BURST-CYKU-RQYQ-8LW8-C5P28- bonus wallet for Android pool (to rain donations directly onto the smaller miners)

This asset will be highly promoted along with the pool, to many miners in small or first world countries who would gain the most from the Android mining. We're hoping to do a ton of outreach for this pool and asset, and get BURST known for android mining!

Thank you all!

Here is the task in the project management system...

https://ciyam.org/open/?cmd=view&data=20161031182946863000&ident=M100V131&chksum=821ab69b

If we need more tasks, they will be created as well.

I've put a link there to the blockexplorer with the QORA donation address, so people can see all the funding that has been donated so far in QORA.

I'll also put a link there for the BTC donation address, and I'll be moving the funds in the BURST donation address to the address tied to that task (should have used that address in the first place, but I honestly forgot that I had already created a BURST address for the project management system and this task.

I will post updates there in the information area.

for now you can ignore the review date, that was basically a test. I'm going to set the review date to a few days from now, to check progress. I refuse to constantly badger the developer, and will let him just do his work and give me updates when he has them.

BURST - BURST-FV97-WG4P-GLPK-HM3R7

QORA - QPV6E7UXYjcxxFECoiRfwK8bU9AxaMH36U

BTC - 1E7xZ2pANGeWCwybvzqYv9o5ovqBq4GeQA

donated some btc, how much do you need btw ?

Well, I'm not certain on the total amount, however I do know that it will be at least a week long job, and I'd like to make sure the dev is happy, and hopefully get him involved in working more for QORA. So, no matter what I'll make sure he gets what he deserves. I of course, will be donating some as well.

What my overall goal here, is to expand the QORA development team, at the same time fixing the main QORA issue.

Hello, please allow me to write my opinion about how I understand QORA project is moving.
First of all a project should have deadlines, what I see in this moment are a lot of good ideas without any previzibile implementation in time. As QORA holder I would like to see more transparency about the team which work in this project, about project tasks which are running, about the deadlines for these tasks.
With all these QORA project can gain a lot of trust and can look more professional for possible investors.
A project manager should know how much costs a task before the task begins.
I have donated a little amount of QORA for db problem but I would donate more if a clear target would be established from the beginning.

Maybe all these all already on the paper but I (we) don't see them.

Please don't take this as a criticism, take it as an alarm signal.

Have a nice day.
Nilatak.

Absolutely, there will be a deadline, the fact is I don't know the deadline yet. The developer said he will be able to start digging in more today, once he gives me an idea of how long he thinks it will take, everyone will know.

As I said it should be about a week.

The developer said he can start taking a look at it today.

I'll have more updates when I know more details.

Another thing, the project management system will be getting used for this, and when I put all the details there, everyone will know.

The thing about development projects, is that until there is a deep look into it from the developer, and they give me an idea of how long they think it will take, I can split it up into multiple tasks if necessary, then post it in the project management system for everyone to see... it's very hard to give specific details. People who have dealt with management of any development projects, know this.

So, there is nothing being 'hidden' here, simply not enough detail for me to accurately estimate a completion date at this time.

I would expect more information within the next day or so once the dev gives me that information.

edit - Spoke with the developer, he will be getting started today, I will absolutely post more information soon. Thanks!

@crowetic, you are welcome!

Do you have a acess to the official twitter / facebook account from Qora?
(It would be great if you post your recent updates there, many guys are thinking qora is a dead coin... )

https://twitter.com/qoracoin
https://www.facebook.com/qoracoin

It's time to wake up the huge sleeping Qora community!
Most people don't realised anything about our futur plans for Qora!

thank you crowetic and
best wishes!

Exactly. We need to spread out the word about Qora from within any form of social media, to help increase its awareness and trading volume. To help keep us up to date, it would be best if new updates related to Qora would be announced over social networks, or even by email newsletter suscriptions.

Nevertheless, I'm looking for something huge to happen in Qora soon, to see its price reach new heights. The official release of Quoth will be a game changer here, and I bet that next year will be a bright one for the Qora platform. Just my opinion.  Smiley

Don't worry. I have access to this twitter and will be putting one of my closest people on it very soon.

As for the qouth mainnet release, this has already been accomplished in prototype phases - (you can get to it with any QORA node http://127.0.0.1:9090/quothprototype or through my QORA node http://qora.host:9090/quothprototype)

As for the database and crashing issues... I've had a temporary qora.jar file compiled, and after some testing I've not had any chain db corruption issues, even upon closing incorrectly. However, I did have 1 corruption of the wallet db upon crashing the computer on purpose, but I restored the wallet by deleting the wallet folder contents, and restoring by seed. Then everything was fine.

I'm currently also testing on Linux.

If anyone else would like to test the new jar file, which is 64 BIT ONLY (this means you must install 64bit java, from oracle, on whichever system you'd like to use it on) and like I said I have had wallet corruption issues upon a full on power-down of the system, though it did NOT crash the blockchain db, and picked up right where it left off. So this is an improvement, also I was able to restore the wallet from seed very quickly. So make sure if you're going to test this version, BACKUP YOUR SEED!

you can backup your seed from your running wallet by running this command in the console...

get wallet/seed

and/or when you created your wallet, you should have backed up your seed.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------here is the new version I'm testing now with a few modifications that didn't crash the blockchain db even on forced crash of the system, hard power off...

https://cloud.crowetic.com/s/IIcNcRq03nRzEVf

you can download this with linux by .... (the following are ubuntu server commands, other OS's may vary)

Code:
wget https://cloud.crowetic.com/s/IIcNcRq03nRzEVf/download

(then you will have to rename the file from download to Qora.jar (capital Q) )

Code:
cp download Qora.jar

then you can set permissions

Code:
chmod 777 Qora.jar

then run...
Code:
sudo ./run.sh

***please note, this is not an 'official' release of QORA, simply a modified jar file that I've been using myself, that seems to have solved the chain corruption issues in the db. It is 64 BIT ONLY compatible, thus you must download the necessary version of java from oracle...

http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/java/javase/downloads/index-jsp-138363.html

Here are ubuntu server instructions for 64 bit java installation...

login as root...

sudo -i

download java from here... http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/java/javase/downloads/jre8-downloads-2133155.html

Code:

-alternative download

^^to download from multiverse copy

Code:
cp download jre-8u112-linux-x64.tar.gz

^^ to rename from cloud download to correct file name

Code:
sudo apt-get update && apt-get remove openjdk-7-jre

Code:
sudo apt-get autoremove && apt-get clean

Code:
sudo mkdir -p -v /opt/java/64

Code:
cd ~/Downloads

Code:
tar -zxvf jre-8u112-linux-x64.tar.gz

sudo mv -v jre1.8.0_112 /opt/java/64

sudo update-alternatives --install "/usr/bin/java" "java" "/opt/java/64/jre1.8.0_112/bin/java" 1

sudo update-alternatives --set java /opt/java/64/jre1.8.0_112/bin/java

The new dev working on the db said he will start the work on Wednesday, and has a full week to dedicate to this, hopefully it can be fully finished in this time, I have a lot of faith in this developer, he's VERY good.

472  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] -NEW BURST OP- MINE ANY FREE SPACE-(HDD MINING)- ATs, AE, P2P MARKET+MORE! on: December 20, 2016, 06:11:18 AM
-[ANNouncement]- BURST project management system released!

A new way to look at jobs, completing work, project management, and crowdfunding!

That's right folks, I'm pleased to announce today, the BURST project management system hosted on CIYAM Open platform!

(Compliments to the CIYAM developers. By the way, to those who aren't aware, the CIYAM developers are the ones who developed the world's FIRST Smart Contract system, that BURST implemented. Many other World Firsts that BURST accomplished, were all due to the capabilities in BURST made possible by the CIYAM developers.)

What this platform is... is a totally new way to look at many aspects of project management, crowdfunding, development, and jobs!

We, as a community developed project, highly appreciate donations, but until now, it has been difficult to track your donation and make sure it is actually doing some good. But now, you don't have to have these types of worries! You can immediately track the funding you donate, and donate specifically to the project area you would like to.

The way the funding works, is a trickle-down effect... The structure is as follows...

MAIN PROJECT

-Project Area

-child project area (or task if no child area is needed)

      -task

each of these has a wallet address attached, shown (for donations contributed), and balance of this address is shown as well. The funding from the main project, is what will trickle down to the areas below, and the funding in the project areas, will trickle down to the child areas, or the tasks.

The platform is capable of replacing a roadmap, becoming an active roadmap for anyone to look at and analyze. No more will we need to post what is being worked on in another page for people to see, this platform, you'll be able to go, look at the things we are looking to have done, and things that are in progress currently! We will no longer be putting things up that end up changing, and making it look like we just didn't complete them, we will only be putting jobs up that we are looking to actually have completed, then everyone will be able to look at it, and see what is going on, and watch the jobs getting done.

Not only that, but...

This system is also a way for the team to accept crowdfund-style donations. If you're interested in helping the community developed project that is BURST, you will be able to see the project, project area, and task funding wallets, and are encouraged to donate to them!

The best way to donate is to the overall project, or project area, but if you'd like to donate to specific task, you can, as long as the task isn't in progress, as that would mean the job has already been accepted by the person that will complete it, therefore a donation to that particular task isn't necessary.

A new way for people to be paid for work! -

The CIYAM open project management platform, is a place people can go, to find jobs they believe they could complete, submit a 'dib' for the job, complete it, and get paid for it!

The way this works, is as follows...

- person looking for a job to be paid to complete, goes to the platform... creates and activates an account, as a 'contributor'. (if you're using gmail, their server is currently blocking emails from CIYAM Open, so please message me and I'll have the account manually activated. If you have anything other than gmail for an email account you can use for this, please use that.)

- the person finds a job they believe they could complete.

- the person submits a 'dib' on the job.

- project manager (in this case, myself) will either accept or deny the person's dib. The dib will include an estimated completion date.

- if dib is accepted, the person completes the job, marks it complete, the project manager will review and test the job to make sure it was completed, then give the person the payment in the wallet associated with the task.

EVERY TASK, PROJECT AREA, AND PROJECT ITSELF, HAS A WALLET ATTACHED!

This means, that not only can people see the funds that are currently available for the overall project, areas, and tasks, but they can also help fund these things, and see what each job will be paid upon completion.

You can find the BURST project here...(only funds that are there currently, were put there thanks to @nameless and his FAD asset's first payout, Thanks @nameless for that! More funding will show soon, and we are officially accepting donations starting now!)

Really great first step!  Well done @developers & co. I hope the system will be utilized!

In future versions, it would be nice to see this decentralized though.  Let's use that smart contract capability to write some contracts which execute (at least to start with) the payment system.  E.g. a community score-based system for gathering input on if a task/project was completed and delivered successfully.  This way, developers wouldn't need to trust a single person (crowetic in this case) to get paid, and the community wouldn't need to trust in crowetic's judgement of if a project/task was completed to the degree of warranting payment. Thoughts?

indeed, almost everything you mentioned here is something you'll see in the future. Smiley

For now though, having the project management system in any way will help quite a bit. I'm stoked to have it.

Great suggestions on the way things need to be completed.

Also, FYI, it will not be just my judgement, I ALWAYS work with the team, and NEVER make decisions alone. Smiley I'm merely the one in CONTROL over the project and actually making the CLICKS, heh.

My hard drives came in today, its at the office so when I go in in a few hours I'll be collecting them and bringing them home to build the biggest burst mining set up ever seen.

Seriously.

I may have a bit of competition for ya on that one, but I welcome the new security and large investors to the network Smiley

PS

The announcement that we were working on, shall be made on Monday Smiley Apologies for the delay, just had to make sure everything was perfect before we announced it.

I'm excited to let everyone know, but weekends are mostly family time!

Just to let everyone know, there is one final change going to be made before I announce what I wanted to announce today.

A simple change so should be done very soon.

Looking forward to the announcement, and the next, which should be by end of the month or first week of 2017.

I can say with certainty that 2017 is going to be a HUGE year for BURST. Smiley

Thanks crowetic. I thought that with the next update Qora was going to become a POW. has this changed.

On poloniex there are large buy and sell orders. Can anyone comment on why there are so many coins on poloniex?

Thanks

There are 10 Billion coins and that is the total, no Inflation. Forging coin comes from transaction fees. There were 130 Bitcoins invested in the ICO could be initial investors hedging and selling. So Market cap adjusts accordingly. It is at about 10x the ICO price with new investors and community. If BitCoin keeps going up and if QORA hits 1-2 satoshi it will stabilize the market and the new functionality will make the investment one of the best ever. I would imagine distributing the coin can happen easier at these levels too. Diversify your BitCoin to maximize the most leverage for profit vs usage of a coin that has services people will want to use.

 Cheesy
You are funny...
Many guys bought already a lot of Qora between (15sat and 70sat) in March! with over 1000BTC!
A lot of ICO holders and weak hands are gone!
9sat is a really good starting point in my opinion.
Qora will see the old peaks soon on later, only my opinion.

MarketCap is not Volume. 130 BitCoin was the MarketCap back when the ICO happened, BitCoin was cheaper so the value is more now. Those 1000 BitCoin Volume positions are still there and have hedged into the 9 sats. 10 Billion times 9 sats is 900 Bitcoin so not even 10x 130 ICO but BitCoin is worth more now etc.

So we both agree QORA is a great buy right now and if the trend keeps going down, even better at lower sats which all investors will hedge into no problem.

Yes, QORA is a great buy, and will remain so even after we switch to a mined algo.

Thank you again to everyone who has donated! You're making me very pleased for the future of this community, thanks!

All support greatly appreciated!

To answer the question of the wallet... Development is basically complete, we've decided to release within core files of next version...

Only issue now is the db, causing so many headaches that it must be fixed first.

I'll also be posting tomorrow some changes to suggestions previously made about which wallet to use for Windows machines, and also a settings file pre-configured with nodes and changes that take care of the seemingly corrupted one compiled into the main Windows wallet.

The db fix should take care of almost all remaining issues we're seeing, and the new wallet will definitely clear up some uncertain wording, and add more easily accessible features, while at the same time being very pretty! Smiley

once again thank you to the ones who have already donated, and to the ones that will! I will promise to get things done as quickly as possible once everything is fully finished implemented.

The forum should also be ready this week, and we'll start pushing some promo, the db is the thing that would keep big promo from being able to be done, as we obviously want everything extremely solid before pushing things hard. Smiley

there will also be a person put in place for social media management, and much more.

Also, what I'm considering the first QORA asset, will be announced in the coming days, which will provide free assets and coin at random intervals with hopes that holders will keep nodes running, and start new ones too.

Much more as well.

On my phone so this is about as much typing as I'm willing to do right now, but I'll be back soon with more, thanks everyone!

-[ANNouncement]- QORA needs your help!

Hello QORA community, this is a call to arms of sorts... and it goes like this...

As we all know, QORA is experiencing database issues... We have come to the conclusion that the new version of mapdb needs to be implemented... Now, the issue here, is that payment of the developer doing the work, needs to happen... The other issue here, is that I myself, cannot afford to pay for all of the development myself, and honestly, I don't believe that is a 'fair' way for this to happen anyway.

I only have about 14 million QORA so far, of which I have donated quite a bit to get people to fire up more nodes, and I'm also going to be helping to start an asset here in the near future, hopefully today as well, along with pulling together the rest of the team that will help to propel QORA to the next level!

Now, you've already seen what I am capable of doing, in both BURST and QORA, and you see that I'm regularly in here posting updates, and giving out new things that are being done for QORA, writing up roadmaps, and pulling people in to get the work that QORA needs done, done...

However, now, I need YOUR help! I need to get this database issue resolved, before any more serious work can be completed on QORA. It is causing crashes and not allowing for things to be completed that WE need to have completed.

I HAVE the developer that will complete the job, he is one that I've pulled in through some contacts that I know, and he has already started taking a look at the problem, and has agreed that he will help to resolve it. What i DO NOT have at the moment, is enough coin to pay him for this job...

When originally talked about this job with vbcs, he said initially that it would be a 3 week job... However, after more and more discussion, I believe that the job should be able to be completed in 1-2 weeks.

This just leaves me with needing assistance to get the payment of this developer completed...

Thus, this!

____

This is a call to arms for the larger QORA holders, to assist with the funding to pay for this database upgrade.

Anyone is free to donate, but I think that the larger holders should have a larger stake in wanting to see this completed, because it's going to be the thing that allows for ALL of the rest of the things to be done. This is essential that the issue be resolved, and it is important for it to be resolved as soon as possible.

All of the legwork has been done already, as far as working out what the issue is, and even finding the person to fix it. Now the only thing needed from you, the community, are some donations to help pay for the job to be completed.

I am not going to do this in the form of a QrowdFund, because I don't want it to be refunded, I'm going to simply post some wallets for donations. I will post QORA, BURST, and BTC wallets.

Any assistance is greatly appreciated! Thanks!

Hello everyone!

I just wanted to come in and apologize for my recent time of being a bit more silent than usual here on the thread, and say that I'm putting together a few nice announcements for new things that will be coming out soon.

From new assets to new things that will work with BURST, to new ways of looking at CrowdFunding, and project management, and jobs! There's quite a bit on the horizon for BURST!

I also wanted to let people here know, that I've changed the philosophy of how I'm doing announcements from now on... and it goes like this now...

From this point on, I will not pre-announce ANYTHING. The only time you will see announcements, is when the project is so near to completion, that the announcement, and the announcement of the release, will quickly follow one another.

We have seen massive growth in the team, community, Asset Exchange, and more, and I truly enjoy seeing this.

Due to the influx of more developers, more people willing to assist us with CrowdFunding our development funding, and new systems coming into place to help with organization, job creation, and funding of the people completing said jobs, things should be moving along at a nicer pace, and things will be coming out more frequently.

I'm also going to be doing more promotional videos, and explanations of the additional features to the wallet, windows client, and more!

So, from this point on, expect nothing in the way of pre-announcements from me, in any project I'm part of. I will only announce things when they're 99% complete, then quickly follow up with the release. I think this will help solidify the trust in the community, and myself, and help BURST to be seen as the extremely solid and trustworthy project that it is.

Thank you all, and I look forward to the coming announcements, and very much to 2017!
