Nope, not at all. I have a few thousand, but that's not it. I am aware of the full situation of what went down with this coin.

I have no need to defend myself over my reasoning. I simply don't worry when situations I know can come to fruition, will.

No, I mean, there will be 1 million EXTRA BURST paid out to the asset holders this month. That 1 million COIN will be split between the assets in the mentioned way above.

The reasoning for the fork, was to multithread the coin, and add necessary updates to the AT code that could have potentially caused issues with the massive PR attempt we are planning, so we've done these things, making the coin faster and stronger, and then 1.2.4 and 1.2.5 had a few bugs to iron out networking wise, that were resolved in 1.2.6.

We apologize for the inconvenience, and running 4 pools ourselves, know your pain of mining forked blocks, I personally have paid out 60+k and anticipate paying out more out of my pocket, to make sure the miners that mined these fork blocks get the payout they deserve, even if they technically don't deserve them.

this is the cost of running a pool, in my opinion. If something goes wrong and the miners stats say they earned more than they did, you have to pony up and pay the extra. That's my opinion. So that is what the BURST team pools have done.

Yes, the forking issues caused a bit of havoc there for a minute, but it has been resolved in 1.2.6, network now running great with the new multithreading, processing blocks faster than it ever has before.

These are growing pains of a coin, but we were able to work through them extremely fast due to the talent in the dev team we have.

I think you'll find the monthly is a lot higher than that, not to mention, these are the first two revenue streams coming to the asset. There will be more.

The main thing you have to think about here, is every dollar goes into BURST, thus raising the price of the coin. You have to also realize that this asset's sale supports development of the coin.

Not everything is about how fast you get ROI...

Also, even at 6 years, that's still MUCH higher APR than you can get in ANY traditional account. We ALWAYS continue the assets we start, no payouts are ever missed. This will continue.


So, I think the fact that you can buy something, with high APR, not have to do anything at all, and have money keep growing, is pretty sweet.

Then considering the addition of many new revenue streams in the future, and the fact that 300/month is a very low-ball estimate IMO, you're entitled to your opinion, but I wholeheartedly disagree.

Exactly. BURST is about the future, and is built in a fantastic way to make use of it in the future. We have many new things coming soon, and with the fix on 1.2.6 making multithreading work exactly as it is supposed to, thanks to our wonderful core devs, we will be setting up the future very nicely in the way of the PR we're going to be doing shortly, and also... BURST team is releasing another new asset tonight, which I will be posting detail about later this evening. Thanks!

I think you don't quite understand how exactly BURST mining works...

You can easily mine other coins, and BURST on the same computer.

BURST uses HDD space to mine, the speed they're talking about on the difference between GPU and CPU, is how fast the computer can read the plots of BURST mining power.

the quicker you can read the plots, the better you're going to do overall, but I have some slower machines that still do great.

In my experience it will not overlap if you plot all the same account on all drives, but I have gotten older ones to overlap by switching back and forth drives and accounts... Not sure if that has been resolved, I can check with daWallet on that.

we have active communication with vbcs now, so he may have a copy of it, I'll verify with him. If not, then we could potentially have it rewritten, but it is definitely on our list of things to do, getting it setup for normal people to be able to create smart contracts.

We're working on getting things straightened out on this fantastic coin, I've been launching wallet nodes on the new version to help avoid forking, will be buying coins to stake and help the network shortly.

it could be that the db is messed up from before, I would say just let it resync. But we've done testing on many different systems for many days and not a single person had the issue and many of the systems had the issue previously. Try re-syncing the db.
