1  Economy / Goods / Re: Anyone interested in Sports Cards and Sports Memorabilia? on: May 24, 2014, 09:34:28 PM
Absolutely. I am very interested in cards and memorabilia for btc.

Any New York Jets merchandise in stock?

Not yet, but I am working on getting everything organized and entered online. I'll make a formal announcement when the site is ready for business, and keep you posted on Jets stuff.

3  Other / MultiBit / Help With Multibit Transaction To Coinbase on: May 20, 2014, 11:52:32 PM
Earlier today I attempted to send .25 BTC to my Coinbase account from my Multibit wallet. I got a triangle symbol immediately. That was about six hours ago. The transaction isn't showing up at Coinbase, and the transaction has disappeared from my Multibit transaction list after I reset the blockchain. The problem is that my Multibit balance shows .0084 BTC, which is what my balance would be if the transaction actually went through. The .25 BTC seems to be missing. What can I do?

*UPDATE* So I did a little reading, which I clearly should have done in the first place, and followed the instructions in this reply:

well, for those wondering whether it is safe or not, i purchased my antminer on a saturday... sent an email and received no response (no email from purchase nor when its shipped nothing), however, monday was shipped, and by wednesday/thursday was at my house.

it's been working for the past 2hr~ at steady 178GH/s (no overclock) w a 750corsaircm... all good, recommended...

I ordered an Antminer S1 this past Saturday (3/29) and today (3/31) my status shows as "shipped." UPS tracking shows that it should be here Wednesday from China. That's pretty fast!

13  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Any tips of getting referrals? on: March 31, 2014, 03:38:36 AM
Create a free blog at Wordpress.com. Create a few pages on "how to" do something specific. Tailor it to a site that you are promoting your referral link for. Then link to it in your signature, or promote it on sites like Visitbit.com.

Try this...

Following is a link to a bitcoin calculator in Excel that I have been improving and maintaining for some time now.  It is based on an original model created by the folks at Bitmain.  The historical data is current as of the last difficulty change.

PM me with any question or enhancement requests.

Thank you for this. One thing that took me a little while to finally see is that this assumes that you end up with 3 Antminers by the end of the year.

16  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: Where do I get free Bitcoin? The maintained list of verified free Bitcoin Sites. on: March 25, 2014, 08:42:27 PM
faucets are time wasters, they only pay very very less.

Thanks for 'your opinion' on how everyone should value their time.   Wink

What good is it if one only gets very very small amounts?

17  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Cryptotrader.org - Cloud Based Automated Trading MtGox/Bitstamp/BTC-E/CEXIO on: March 24, 2014, 07:53:58 PM
I've just joined the site, and I'm interested in upgrading so that I can purchase and use an existing strategy. What is the difference between "simulated trading bots" and "automated trading bots?" What level do I need to sign up for to be able to purchase a bot? Thanks.

Simulated trading feature allows you to practice with play money trading, whereas Automated trading bots trade with real coins. To purchase strategies you need any subscription plan, but i recommend to have at least Basic+ so that your bots can trade not only for play money but for coins too.

Great, thanks for the explanation and advice.  Wink
