3.How they work ?

The Bitcoin/Litecoin addres is laser engraved at the backside of your Stainless Steel Crypto Wallet - you can send/receive your coins to this address. This method is called cold storage.

The "private key" is laser engraved at the backside of the card and is protected by a tamper-evident hologram. The hologram leaves behind a honeycomb pattern if it is peeled. If the hologram is intact , the wallet is good.Our private keys are passphrase encrypted (BIP38) and you will need to decrypt it before you are able to spend your digital coins.

4. Do Stainless steel crypto wallets come loaded with Bitcoins/Litecoin ?

No. For security and liability reasons, we do not offer wallet creation for our cards. Customers must create their own wallets.

 

5. Do Stainless steel crypto wallets  come with a new wallet?

 

No, you must create your own paper wallet generated by yourself with BIP38 Encryption. After that go to our site , select the item you want and when you checkout write your PUBLIC ADDRES and PRIVATE KEY (PASSWORD PROTECTED) in "Add special instructions for your order..." field , we will generate QR CODES for you and will engrave them on your wallet.

6.I still can't create my paper wallet , would you generate wallet for me ?

 

Yes, not a problem if you want a paper wallet generated by us just don't add any instructions in "Add special instructions for your order..." field. We will generate offline paper wallet for you with BIP38 Encryption.

 

7.Do you keep a copy of the private key?  Who has had access to the private keys?

We did NOT keep the private keys , and I'am the only person who has ever had control over the private keys.  I have either inserted the private keys into the cards myself , or have directly supervised others doing the same.We want to build a good and honest bussines , we are not here to steal your coins , we're here to protect them!
 
 

 8. It's impossible to prove you didn't keep the private keys , and with all the Bitcoin scams lately , why should I trust you?

I have given out my real-world identity and have digitally signed a list of Litecoin/Bitcoin addresses used in this project.  I have made it so that it if I were to perpetrate a scam, it would be possible to prove it and to hold me legally accountable - something no scammer wants to do.  You should demand the same from anyone handling your cryptocurrency.
 

 

 

9. What if i loose my stainless steel crypto wallet card ? Can somebody spent my coins?

No , our Stainless Steel Crypto Wallet Cards are BIP38 encrypted , the cards are unusable without your passphrase (BIP38 encryption) and nobody will be able to spent your coins without it. 

 

10. What is BIP38 encryption?

In short form , BIP38 is a third party method used to encrypted your private address. When your private key is encrypted , you will now have a new key , which contains a password created. This means the only way to access the funds in the associated wallet is to de-crypt your private key with the password. For a more technical run down of of BIP38, refer to this.

11. How do I encrypt my private keys?

When you want to spent your coins just go to this sites --> Wallet Details -->paste your private keys in private key field and press "View details" --> you will be asked for your passphrase --> after you enter it the site will generate a new decrypted privatekey.After doing this you can import your crypto wallet to Bitcoin-qt or Litecoin-qt client.

Since the private key has now been imported to your wallet, it would be no longer consider as cold storage anymore.

For extra security , insure your computer is offline both when creating and encrypting your new keys for cold storage.
