Same here. Doesnt matter how many cards are in rig / if applied overclock or any other variables.

Any1 experiencing problem, that after couple of hours using algoswitching, when the algo is changed from normal v7 to heavy/bittube/have etc, the hashrate becomes lower? It happens with all my rigs (vega, 570, 480, 580). Using auto intensity. When I see lower hashrate, quit the miner, run it again, the hashrate becomes normal again.
Any ideas? Thank you.

W10 rx vega 56 1,3Mh/s each rx 580 / 570 around 700kh/s each
worksize 32, intensity 20
Thank you, so there is no profitability at the moment can i know the consumption please ? didnt measure it, but online socket plug show around 650W for 4x vega so like 80W less than on monero (got 730w on monero)

Hello there, guys please can you share your hashrates on bittubev2 and with what intensity?
Here is mine:
vega 56 - int 55 - ~ 1300 H/s rx570 4gb - int 29 ~ 620 H/s rx480 4gb - int 29 ~ 620 H/s rx480 8gb - int 41 ~ 850 H/s rx580 4gb - int 29 ~ 630 H/s
I am running with automatic intensity. Thank you.

Hello got problem with my 4x vega 56 rig, every time i log off with teamviewer, 2 of them crash and doin 0 h/s. Miner keeps mining with those other 2. Have no problem with 4 more rigs rx 570, 480, 580. Tried to lower clocks, intensity but not working. Any idea?

I have moved to miningrigrentals.com and I am happy with it.

I expect 10-20% better performance tops. nVidia does not need to make something 100% better than their older cards. With close to no competition, they can every year or two release something little bit better than the previous product. Why would they compete against their own card?
I really don't see the point make something twice better than your previous product when you have the best tech and nobody is close to you. AMD needs to step up his game. Vega was disappointment.
Dont think Vega was dissapointment in mining ... ~ 1930h/s at 160w is not that bad for cryptonote

Hello just want to ask about latency. I am EU based and have less than 100ms ping on other ETP pools. But when mining on stratum+tcp://eu.cryptopoolpond.com:8008, I have 470-540 ping. On US server stratum+tcp://cryptopoolpond.com:8008 I get 160-190 ping. Seems strange, like I said, never had problems with high ping, never had more than 100 ms on any EU based pool, in average I get like 40-60ms anywhere. Thanks for info.

Hello, I think ppl in RX Vega threads said you have to get at least 16GB RAM in order to use full features the RX Vega has. And you shold look at the vega 56 too, if you can get them for good price, you can flash it with vega 64 bios and they are not much worse than vega 64. Look for VEGA threds.

Which of the below card is best for long term GPU mining and what coins you suggest to mine with each of these cards.
MSI 11 GB NVIDIA GTX 1080 Ti ROI per nicehash : 9 months
MSI 8 GB GTX 1080 ROI per nicehash : 6 months
Can only say few words about the two above: don't go for 1080, choose either 1070 or 1080ti. Besides, check exactly which model of these cards you're buying, same brand 1070's, for example, may have 4-5 models all varying in clock speeds => mining efficiency. Are those GTX 1080 really that bad? Because price-wise I can buy 1070 for $520, 1080 for $575 and 1080Ti for $825. Thanks for your response. What price you can buy Gigabyte 4 GB RX 470 and MSI 8 GB RX 480 for? Well 470/480 are mostly out of stock here, same for 570/580. But in local shops there are price starting $300 for 570 and $350 for 580. Thanks for your response, i am getting used rx 470 4 gb for $150 each with 6 in stock and same price for rx 480 but they are only 2 in stock What do you suggest me to do, should i buy 470 x 8 cards and make a rig or rx 480 x 2 along with rx 470 x 6? Well if I was you, I would just take as many those cards as you can for that price. There should be no problem mixing 470/480 in one rig. I am running 7x 480 in one rig, and 4x 570 + 2x 580 in second. Had no problems installing those rigs, using blockchain drivers (those non-official leaked, from robinhood). Ok, i saw on a website that 480 8 GB takes 150 watts and on another website it says RX 470 4 GB requires 500 watt power supply. Just want to confirm how much power Gigabyte RX 470 4GB takes? Its depending on your PSU effeciency, GPU clock, model, quality, voltage, bios, algo and luck My 1st rig 7x MSI 480 gaming 4g takes 1070W when dualminig 207mhs eth + 5850 decred. 2nd 4x Sapphire PULSE 570 4g + 2x Sapphire PULSE 580 4g takes 930W when dualing 170 mhs eth + 4580 decred. So if you are going to dualmine, you can count with ~130-150W card

Same :-/

I think you will be ok with 100Mbps. All whats matter a bit is latence of internet connection. I was using free mobile internet connection with speed 16/16kbps and had no problem (as far as the ping was under 150).

I use Teamviewer for managing my rigs + Broadlink SP3S / SP3 smart power plug for remote power on/off the rig via app, if it freeze. Works well and the cost is $10-18 from ali (there is version with power meter monitor, but i dont use that monitor anyway - got dedicated).

You're absolutely right Jennifive. Choose what makes most sense from a performance vs price perspective. I was in the same situation as you a few months ago. The 1070 were selling for £350, the 1080 for £380, the 1080Ti for £700... lol.
I went for 5x1080, logically.
Hello, can you share what hashrates / power consuption you have on algos you tried to mine? Because I can buy 1070 for $540 or 1080 for $590.

Hello there, I have got question too. After Bitstamp added ethereum trading pairs, anyone knows if we can mine eth (on ethermine with those 1ETH payouts) straight into the bitstamp wallet? Anyone already tried it?
Thanks in advice. And. Sorry for stealing thread ^^

In my case, I have solved it by lowering decred mining intensity. Or reduce the overclock is another solution I think.
