People spend too much time liking political posts and writing long comments on social media that nobody reads.

Moaning on social media doesn't bring about political change.  While people moan their privacy and freedom is being stripped away.
2  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: Problems with DEXs are being solved by Bancor on: October 13, 2018, 06:27:32 AM
DEX technology is still very new.
Cryptocurrency itself is still very much new and not yet perfected.
DEXs are still far from decentralized.
I don't have much confidence in any of them. Who do you sue if things go wrong ?
3  Other / Politics & Society / Re: America should build a boat. on: October 13, 2018, 06:22:58 AM
Usually those big ships are built in countries with cheap labor. Fly a flag of a tax haven and are owned by anonymous private trust of the wealthy elite.
4  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [10-13-2018] 17 cannabis cryptocurrencies to get high on on: October 13, 2018, 06:16:18 AM
i don't understand why cannabis need own tokens and coins? Blockchain is useless to cannabis industry maybe except payments which can be done with existing btc, xmr or eth.

It is just another buzzword for a cashgrab to entice suckers.

Blockchain, Masternode, Cannabis. WOW Lets invest !  Roll Eyes

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Private_currency

Private currency is rare due to regulations severely restricting it.

But loyalty programs and gift cards are in a way forms of private alternative currency.

Gift card codes can often be exchanges for Crypto currency. Some of the first crypto exchanges did that.
7  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Issues and some solutions? on: October 13, 2018, 04:39:39 AM
as for ASIC objectors..
ASICS are more efficient and more secure system for the blockchain than CPU/GPU based algo
and better than PoS(also requires a device with a cpu)

but lets put th scenario into practice......
oh wait i hear you scream
"OMG... AMD(ATi) own over 50% of processors and GPUs that create blocks"

For a large network like Bitcoin ASICs have worked well to create a decentralized network.

Bitmain dominance in making the ASICs is still a bit of an issue and Chinese mining pool dominance is a potential issue but overall ASICs do a great job in
protecting the Bitcoin network.

ASICs have been a bit of a curse for small altcoins.  With making it cheap and easy to gain network dominance. But it is questionable whether some of those coins have any real value in the first place. Small coins face the same issue with GPU mining where it is easy to change the algo.

I see the only threat to POW mining with ASICs is from environmentalists regarding the carbon emissions and the use of massive energy resources.

Support stopped responding altogether. Just passes the notice of the closure of the ticket. And that's all. For more than 10 days I can not give an answer. The account is still frozen. Direct contacts to the administration do not give.

That sounds terrible. Sorry to sound skeptical but from your post history it is a newbie account exclusively posting on this thread claiming that they froze 27 BTC.

I'd believe it if you posted the transaction from the block explorer here. Am I right in believing that this isn't your only account on bitcointalk ?

I did not copy and paste!

Yes you did:

Diversification is an option that many people choose to make big profits. In addition, it minimizes the risk and maintains balance for your investment. Diversification in line with short-term or long-term investment patterns or in trade also shows high efficiency.I would advise you to take a course on margin trading. It is very risky as you can lose all your money but if you learn then you will be able to earn a lot of money.

Invest only in coins that have real world purpose (something that you would use) , a good development team, some unique feature that is innovative and an ethical outlook.

A Jihadi suicide bomber is THE most dangerous job. You are unlikely to survive your first job.

This gotta be some kind of record: 1200+ posts and zero merits.

Did they use the same words too frequently ?   Roll Eyes  Those quotes appear on the most recent page of their history. They do not appear to have made any posts where they spoke before that (other than bounty reports)
14  Other / Meta / Re: now, many newbie was sort out i think on: September 20, 2018, 02:39:23 PM

Not quite sure what the OP is talking about.

I see that there are demands for more merit sauces - is that stuff you put on cookie cutter posts?

Merit sauce ? It must be something to lure bounty hunters with. I think suchmoon had a link to free merit sauce in her signature.
15  Other / Meta / Re: When can i get metrit? on: September 17, 2018, 12:45:22 PM
Whoa - a thousand posts and no merit !

There must be something wrong with your posting habits.

I think I would stop posting if I reach 50 posts without getting at least one merit.

What is the point of posting on a forum if nobody likes your posts ?
16  Other / Meta / Puzzled about deleted post. on: September 17, 2018, 12:30:49 PM
Can someone please explain why this post was deleted ? I had a look at the rules and cannot see which one it breached. I answered the question on topic and put some links in of devices that might solve their problems. Are newbies not allowed to post links ?

We are based in Ayrshire south west Scotland, our locations are very close to west
Coast, about a quarter mile from the sea. Lots of cool wind, however once we install all 80 rigs it’ll need ventilation, currently got 50 rigs installed in 4 locations, getting enough power seems to be an issue in Scotland, we’ve now got 4 places with 3 Phase supplies, 3 x 63 3 Phase and one 200amp 3 Phase, getting a sub station is now our plan, power is expensive but still profitable, in it for the long term

Rig List
26 Antminer S9
24 Whatsminer M3
3 Whatsminer M3X
1 Antminer A3
10 1050/1060/1080 Ethereum Rigs (SimpleOS)

Challenges
Getting direct access to wind farm energy
Remotely restarting rigs

Remote restart is easy https://numato.com/product/8-channel-ethernet-relay-module and wire them onto individual contactors or use something like this https://www.ebay.com/itm/Home-WiFi-Smart-Power-Wireless-Socket-Remote-Control-Outlet-Switch-EU-UK-US-Plug/401544104439?hash=item5d7de4c9f7:g:8TMAAOSwlzZbC76c

Your high power rates will kill your profit.

Consider using immersion liquid cooling to reduce your cooling costs - no fans - no noise - heat can be piped away to be used for heating an office etc..

The Pharmacist is well known for fighting against the account buyer and seller. I'm one of the victim.

Were you a victim of an account buyer or victim of an account seller ?

18  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: The Rock Trading www.therocktrading.com : Selective Scam (truffa)? You decide! on: September 09, 2018, 09:48:29 AM
I think the reason most people haven't posted in this thread is because they see you throwing your toys while there is a simple solution.

Give them the identification they are requesting and you get the crypto.

I can only see two reasons that you would not give them ID

1) You don't want to (Maybe because it is illicit earnings or tax dodging)

2) You can't (It either isn't your account , you gave a fake identity in the first place or live in a country that  is excluded by their TOS)

It doesn't make them a scammer.
19  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Crypto is a poor form of money for terrorists. on: September 09, 2018, 05:06:31 AM
Crypto is a poor form of money for jihadists because they usually need to purchase goods with cash often in areas with unreliable technology.

According to this Forbes article

So they don't have computers, bitcoin merchants, fibre optics or 4G coverage in the dusty dessert or hideout hills.

According to Yaya Fanusie, director of analysis for the Foundation For Defense of Democracies Center on Sanctions and Illicit Finance: “Cold hard cash is still king"

So will they ban cash to prevent terrorism ? That would be some good hype to get the next bull run started !

According to the Forbes article a group called Mujahideen Shura Council (MSC) in the Environs of Jerusalem - was able to lure only two contributions for a total of a little over $500 in weeks of a 2016 online campaign. MSC sounds like a Microsoft certification. Perhaps the contributions were accidental and two suckers are still waiting for their online courses.

So not only is it terrible to use for the terrorists - their supporters appear to be crypto broke too.

Sounds like a business opportunity for a gun dealer to accept jihad coin. Make sure to use escrow. You cannot trust terrorists.
20  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: will bitcoin become obsolete? on: September 09, 2018, 03:46:59 AM
Why would it become obsolete ? Do you think they will not improve the code to keep up with the times ?

With a multi billion dollar market cap at stake and billions invested in mining equipment do you think that the developers will just let it flounder ?

Bitcoin as the crypto leader is in the best position to continue development.
