And I really don't see why anyone would chose to rob a few users in a very obvious way when they have the option of stealing using the seeds in an invisible way, forever. If the "anonymous dev"-story is true, there's an explanation for this possibly: The new dev didnt have access to the server seeds. So he cant steal directly. But by making some players lose more, the site has a higher profit. Gains more commission. Dev's cut is worth more coins. He had access to code, the simplest thing ever is to allow to set server seed from player, or to somehow reveal it to the player with for example post command or special crafted cookie which even wont be logged into nginx\apache log. |

I'd like to note that dicebitco.in does not show the bet ID in all bets/high bets thus it wouldn't be very likely for someone to notice a nonce skip especially if this was only effecting users wagering large amounts. There is no way to audit results of other users without them sharing. This is my counter to dooglus's argument that this seems too obvious and appears to be sabotage. Heading out for now, I've left feedback for the time being.
Or "fixing" a site's profit, to attract more investors. |

How this could ever happen? You just hire someone, give access to the server or code, and forget about it? Don't you have at least some(any, one?) security protocols?
If, I imagine you didn't and any guy has access to the server and code, why he did such stupid thing? Why not just add something to show the server seed, or set it from front-end?

You earn any profits, but also you take any loses site has. Proportionally to your investment. You earn realtime, with each bets being made, however we take 10% commission once per week on your net profits. In the long run you can earn 1% of the wagered amount, but in short you can lost some investments due someone big wins. We need investments because we want to allow high max bet with high profits, but we don't have 1000BTC or more to invest into the bankroll. Thus we allow other people to invest. |

Thanks to ScryptHasher I joined the site and the rains were impressive. He also helped new users out by giving them 10K Reddcoin so they could get to level 1 and actually get the rain. If the site takes off thanks to what happened 24 hours ago, you owe him a lot of thanks.
While I was impressed and grateful I think there are lots of opportunities to improve your "chain" of sites. I'd add a bet all button. Not that I often bet all of my coins, but it can help if you want to martingale, you can bet all and then hit one half six, ten, or twelve times (or whatever) to see how long of a loss streak you'll be able to survive.
I would also add divest all and invest all. Since investment is constantly changing it is hard to type in exactly how many coins you have invested. When I gamble, I want to divest my coins so I'm not shooting against myself.
I do appreciate the clearly laid out levels. At least there is little spam in chat.
