i can not get my daemon to sync.. even if i delete the old database.. it stomps in april 2014 and does not sync further.
all i get, looks like.

Hi,

wondering if someone of you, knows a efficient way, on how to protect a pool from ddos attacks?
i used to try csf for linux. the firewall blocks alot, but it looks like.. that it does not block enough,

maybe someone of you was more successfull then i, and could share his experiences?!

my csf settings look like the following:

SYNFLOOD = "1"
SYNFLOOD_RATE = "30/s"
SYNFLOOD_BURST = "10"

any hints, answers or links to tutorials are highly appreciated.
