I asked a question as I was seeking some more info before I bought, but it would have been lost in all the irrelevant drama, if you keep your chatter to relevant topics it will be easier to bring in new people. it is a moderated topic, the moderator can delete all of his posts
You should join our Slack chat, that is 100% moderated and filled with usefull info. This forum is like an sinking ship. i joined but cant find #bitbay . . . . . . . . . spent 15 minutes on here working it out, got frustrated and left

The first double 'B' one is really good - maybe in a circle?
I agree... here is my version of #1 within a circle. These are very good. I'm not sure if I like the first or second one better. And guys, when do you think we should pick a winner? Maybe a few more days until submission deadline? this one looks great and contest is ongoing... New Logo contest for BitBay We plan to rebrand bitbay project. We have 1 million baycoin(about 0.6btc) bounties for our new logo contest winner. First winner will get 0.5 million bitbay Second winner will get 0.3 million bitbay Third winner will get 0.2 million bitbay. community will vote for this. The contest will end at 10th Jan.Design Brief We are looking for something possibly abstract to represent BitBay which is both our currency, and also a decentralized service set that can enable blockchain based service, such as decentralized marketplace and decentralized smart contract applications.
We looking for something that can double as a logo for our decentralized service and a symbol for bitbay currency.
Good luck ! Thanks for your support.you can post your logo in this thread.no favoritism shown here at all!!?? you post the 'official thread under a design where you are saying how good it is . . .!!? also a bit strange that the person who owns the biggest amount of Bitbay has now designed the logo by all accounts. When are we changing the name to Izzie coin?

Can the people that have been scammed, and with all the fraud that's been committed can 'we' the community sue the devs and bter?
Anyone know law?
That will be easy. David is currently building the entire paper trail. It will lead straight to BTer. They certainly have the resources to refund the ICO. I suggest we all get behind this. I really like the idea of Bitbay and what has been promised. The fact a whole team is been trained to develop Bitbay is also great. But the fact they have dumped all their coins once the ICO was over and forced the value down so much is not acceptable. They need to use their own funds to restore the ICO price (its the least they could do) or everyone in the community should all join and seek legal advice and compensation.

I feel the need to post this because it's something I am passionate about. I got into cryptocurrencies (Bitcoin) in mid-2011 because I knew it was the future of finance. I have not had feelings about a technology like this since the early days of the WWW when everyone was trying to discredit that and say that it would never be anything. I knew then that the WWW was going to change all of our lives, just like I know now that cryptocurrency is going to do the same thing on perhaps even a bigger scale.
With that said, cryptocurrency in recent months has made me sad for humanity. It's so sad and pathetic to see countless people, human beings just like me and you, yapping at each other like animals and becoming absolutely disgusting creatures because of greed and power fantasies. Cryptocurrency was supposed to, in my mind, free us from the burdens of money and usher us into a new era of society where we are no longer controlled and manipulated by the money we have in our pockets or in our bank accounts.
Instead, what has happened is quite the opposite and it makes me almost sick to my stomach to see how a few numbers on a screen can turn people into actual monsters. I invested in BitBay because I wanted to support a project for decentralized marketplaces, something that I think is necessary for our emerging global, Internet-based society. For similar reasons I am also invested in NEM, as you can see from my signature. Of course, I also still hold Bitcoin because it is the top dog of cryptocurrency at the moment, but I am always looking to the future.
I hope that the sheer volume of human garbage that has populated this thread and this project does not deter David and his partners from delivering what he has promised. I would love to see a working decentralized marketplace with items from around the world that I can purchase without having to go through any other medium. That's all I care about. I don't care about 10 satoshis here or there... it's SO irrelevant in the grand scheme of what we are witnessing. (Some of) you people are so caught up in making a few hundred dollars that you can't even see the potential implications for this disruptive technology. It makes me sad that a few hundred dollars can not only do this to people, but also that it can potentially bring such a promising technology to its knees.
tl;dr I really hate money and the greed that it perpetuates.
I Wish everybody here would see it this way. Completely agree!
