Although I am not technical enough to answer your question, you may find some information at the following:

https://www.burstcoin.community/burstcoin-mining/

Even better, please ask for assistance here:

https://discordapp.com/invite/RPhpjVv

Most of the online conversation has moved to discord and https://www.reddit.com/r/burst/  For a technical question, the best platform is discord.

Burstcoin Community Website & Documentation Project:  Upgraded Wiki Platform

This project, started in December of 2018 as a humble archival copy of community resources, has been developed into the most complete and up to date source of Burstcoin documentation publicly available.

This is a platform for documentation that is configurable from the standpoint of design as well as content, and has an efficient work flow for content contributors, editors, and translators.

It is intended to be a single source of everything to know about Burstcoin, presented engagingly and reflecting positively on the Burstcoin community and its awesome block chain platform.

Content from many sources has been collected, arranged, and revised. A preliminary step toward making documentation available in various language has been taken with machine based translation.

Following are some ways that you can get involved with your particular skills:

Fluent in an included language? Evaluate the initial quality of the machine translations. Advise on which languages are beneficial to include (or not). Make corrections on an ongoing basis.

Involved with development, marketing, and independent projects? Assist in keeping the collection relevant. Forward documentation for new projects and changes to existing projects.

Have an eye for design and organization? This project is a content intense long form website. It definitely isn’t all flash and no substance. Let us know your ideas.

Have an ability to revise wording for effectiveness, style, and clarity? The collection has been extensively reviewed, but new items to correct are always being discovered.

How to contribute:

This project is intended to make it easier for those of us who are not primarily in technology and programming fields to contribute in support of development, to bring a more coordinated approach to our documentation and online presence, and to create better experiences for new users.

As a wiki-ish project, contributions and edits can be dropped into contact forms with no need to create an account or login. Contributions open work tickets for editors to review and incorporate changes as needed throughout the collection. Additional methods are available for high volume translation editing.

Please have a look around the project. Have an idea for improvement? Drop a note in one of the contact forms or contact the editor, Decrescendo, on Discord. Persnickety types are encouraged.

Reviewing the 1st 10 pages of search results, and following the many rabbit holes of outdated lists, forums, etc., just two working faucets were found, excluding pool operators which are not the subject of this post. So thanks to https://burst-coin.es/faucet and https://faucet.burst-alliance.org for stepping in to fill the void.

The Burstcoin Community Website & Documentation Project now maintains a list of tested and recommended faucets. If any have been overlooked, please advise (here, or using the documentation form at the end of the faucet list: https://burstcoin.community/burstcoin-faucets/

Finally, if you operate a Burstcoin related property, please link to these faucets operators and/or this list to help reclaim some of the valuable real estate at the top of the search results. The current situation is not a good look.

If you maintain links to non-operational faucets, please update. If you have a faucet site that is no longer maintained, please accept our thanks for past efforts and redirect to an appropriate resource.

Thanks,
