1  Bitcoin / Mining software (miners) / Re: Firmware for S17 - 85th/s and T17 - 65th/s T17 44t@45w/t • AUTO-TUNE • Asic.to on: February 03, 2020, 08:16:12 AM
Firmware is not bad at all. My T17s draws 2150w on stock settings (40THs) with Bitmain fw, with custom fw on 45 ths, power draw is 2000w. Chip temps are 10c lower. Only objection is auto fan settings. For example chip temps are 50c and fan speed on antminer is 6000 rpm, this can be reduced a lot, also power draw will be reduced more. I hope this will be fixed with next release. Also I noticed power draw peak before miner start hashing. It goes 10-15% up, this also should be fixed. Everything else is very good. Very good software.

Bitmain firmware is crap, they release their sowtware with no testing. I installed last Bitmain S15/T15 firmware (released on beginning of January 2020) after that 3 hashing boards on my T15 antminers are dead, and one powersupply is dead, boards constantly goes off on all miners. Bitmain of course told that is my mistake. But after I flashed previouse firmware all starts to work fine.

Thanks for this information.
3  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: Recommended Pools? on: December 17, 2019, 07:46:16 AM
Hmm, ok. Antpool fee for pplns is 0%. That is reason why i chose them. Maybe I will try slush pool to compare profit.

What about Antpool? They are not good option?

Does anyone have some good setup for T17 on power consumption bellow 2400w? I tried a lot combinations yesterday, my T17s in this moment works on 740mhz/16,8V/2270w/44,5Ths. Nothing better for now...

Can you post some pics of your achievement Cheesy?

Anyone found some sweet spot for T17 on low power consumption? I tested a little bit yesterday, got 42 ths/1950w.

T17/S17 fw specs looks great. I will try this in next few days.
Is there any chance to make some good custom firmware for T15/S15 units?

Hi guys,
I have some nob questions.

I never used different pool for my antminers (sha256) than Antpool in last few years,I was to lazyto experiment, shame on me  Smiley. Now I thinking to change pool for a first time. Currently my miners works in PPLNS mode, they told that fee on Antpool is 0%, but calculation showing different, my earnings are a lot lower. On Kano fee for PPLNS mode is 0.9% but somehow i fill that my earnings will be higher than on Antpool, I dont have time for experiments in pplns because it could take long.
Can someone tell me, will my earning will be increased here? Thanks Smiley.

I got answer from Brainacs recently:

Quote from: Braiins
Braiins OS is currently supported only on Antminer S9 (S9, S9i, S9j) and Dragonmint T1.
Other devices are also on our roadmap, but we do not have any ETA for you at the moment.

Thanks for your understanding.

Braiins & Slush Pool

There is possibility that they will miss 15 series. It is lot more profitable for them to go directly on 17th series.

Is there any custom FW for T15 or S15?

Hi guys, does anyone have problem with Bitmain shipping time? I still waiting for my august batch, still not shipped.
14  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Bitmain introduces the Antminer S17 Pro, Antminer S17, and the Antminer T17 on: August 06, 2019, 06:03:41 AM
What is real power consumption of T17 antminers on 230V, bitmain is not accurate regarding this. Is there any difference in power consumption between 38 and 40THS T17 types?

I got T17 38ths version. Power consumption is 2050w on 232V.

It looks like Bitmain released new FW for S15/T15. Release date is 07.05.2019, but firmware description is same like previous version. Does anyone tried new firmware?

18  Bitcoin / Mining software (miners) / Re: Braiins OS: open-source mining firmware [S9, T1]. New release includes AsicBoost on: April 02, 2019, 01:58:34 PM
@braiins Is there any chance to make FW for T15/S15 antminers?
19  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Bitmain introduces the Antminer S17 Pro, Antminer S17, and the Antminer T17 on: March 29, 2019, 01:53:47 PM
Some Chinese miners have already started talking about S17 being released next month, these guys are usually pretty accurate at least with the release date, they also dropped S9 price with psu from 395$ to 271$ for April delivery.

I am almost certain that next month will be the release of these monsters.

The S17 is expected to do 42TH at 1500w
S17 pro is expected to do  48TH at 1550w

The numbers on S17 seem very reasonable, in fact even 44th at 1500w is doable, not sure about the pro,it's a bit too much IMO. but let's see how it goes, will keep you updated if i get any confirmed information.

Hmm, so If specs are true. S15 and T15 buyers are fucked up again. Huge different on same 7nm chip. I hope Bitmain will release some good firmware for S15/T15 which will increase performance.
