Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Claymore XMR/QCN/FCN/BCN GPU Miner v5.1

I'm having an issue with 5.1 miner, well as with older ones, tried them too. So, W7 x64 with 270 card, miner 5.1 for 14.6 drivers; wanted to MM on minergate FCN/BCN pair. Anyway I got a lot of share found messages and occasionally "outdated share found" (sometimes even few of those in a roll) and then "unknown stratum packet: error 32700 parserror ..." Friend from another forum advised me to use miner for 13.12 drivers in combination with 14.4 drivers so I did... But then, still talking about mining on minergate, I still have "outdated share found" messages and some others, looks like this: 07/16/14-19:07:25 - New job received from mcn-bcn.pool.minergate.com:45650 Speed: 328 h/s, TotalHashes: 592K, DevHashes: 28K Mining time: 00:30 07/16/14-19:07:28 - SHARE FOUND (target 1630) - (GPU 0 of 1) DevFee: 07/16/14-19:07:34 - SHARE FOUND (target 444) - (GPU 0 of 1) DevFee: 07/16/14-19:07:34 - SHARE FOUND (target 444) - (GPU 0 of 1) 07/16/14-19:07:36 - SHARE FOUND (target 1630) - (GPU 0 of 1) 07/16/14-19:07:38 - SHARE FOUND (target 1630) - (GPU 0 of 1) 07/16/14-19:07:38 - SHARE FOUND (target 1630) - (GPU 0 of 1) 07/16/14-19:07:49 - SHARE FOUND (target 1630) - (GPU 0 of 1) 07/16/14-19:07:51 - SHARE FOUND (target 1630) - (GPU 0 of 1) 07/16/14-19:07:57 - SHARE FOUND (target 1630) - (GPU 0 of 1) 07/16/14-19:07:59 - SHARE FOUND (target 1630) - (GPU 0 of 1) 07/16/14-19:08:01 - SHARE FOUND (target 1630) - (GPU 0 of 1) 07/16/14-19:08:01 - SHARE FOUND (target 1630) - (GPU 0 of 1) 07/16/14-19:08:03 - SHARE FOUND (target 1630) - (GPU 0 of 1) 07/16/14-19:08:05 - SHARE FOUND (target 1630) - (GPU 0 of 1) 07/16/14-19:08:07 - SHARE FOUND (target 1630) - (GPU 0 of 1) 07/16/14-19:08:17 - SHARE FOUND (target 1630) - (GPU 0 of 1) 07/16/14-19:08:26 - SHARE FOUND (target 1630) - (GPU 0 of 1) 07/16/14-19:08:26 - SHARE FOUND (target 1630) - (GPU 0 of 1) 07/16/14-19:08:36 - SHARE FOUND (target 1630) - (GPU 0 of 1) 07/16/14-19:08:36 - SHARE FOUND (target 1630) - (GPU 0 of 1) 07/16/14-19:08:40 - SHARE FOUND (target 1630) - (GPU 0 of 1) cannot find block data: {"error":"Blockexpired","id":1,"jsonrpc":"2.0","result":null} cannot convert blob data cannot find block data: {"error":"Blockexpired","id":1,"jsonrpc":"2.0","result":null} cannot convert target data cannot find block data: {"error":"Blockexpired","id":1,"jsonrpc":"2.0","result":null} cannot convert jobid 07/16/14-19:08:40 - New job received from mcn-bcn.pool.minergate.com:45650 Speed: 328 h/s, TotalHashes: 617K, DevHashes: 30K Mining time: 00:31 07/16/14-19:08:40 - New job received from mcn-bcn.pool.minergate.com:45650 Speed: 328 h/s, TotalHashes: 617K, DevHashes: 30K Mining time: 00:31 Outdated share found - skip 07/16/14-19:08:48 - SHARE FOUND (target 1630) - (GPU 0 of 1) 07/16/14-19:08:50 - New job received from mcn-bcn.pool.minergate.com:45650 Speed: 328 h/s, TotalHashes: 620K, DevHashes: 30K Mining time: 00:31 DevFee: Outdated share found - skip Also the miner stops mining after some time. What am I doing wrong? Non-merged mining is also affected with "outdated shares" and the rest, on minergate. Other pools work as intended and with this combo of 14.4 and 5.1 miner with 13.12 drivers and those two files (forgot to mention them earlier). Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [BCN] Bytecoin (CPU-mining, true anonymity)

Almost all of it has come from automatic payouts from this pool - http://bcn.extremepool.org/#, mining using one 270 and CPU - payments range from 60 to 100 or several hundreds of BCN. Previously I had 5k BCN which were withdrawn from minergate and 2 hours ago I cleared some 62 BCN from there, to level my balances there - not sure did they arive since it's a small amount. So that is the reason. You have a lot of small inputs that is why your transactions sizes are out of limits. I guess you can transfer your coins to another wallet (in order to generate bigger inputs) and use it instead. A lot of users suffer from this problem caused by weird pool's payments Thank you for your answers, but... Regarding this problem from a few days ago, it just got more worse and I really dunno is it big or not. You be the judge of it... Since I couldn't deposit to poloniex 100/50/40K BCN I sent a few smaller amounts. -The first chunk was 10K BCN with transaction id: 234ffcab1db2a972d6f6c6a9a2d18f5d989fb5cc065a0c8ee71958e0cb88656c - all went well, deposit arrived, transaction is in the blockchain. -The second was 15K BCN and also wallet said it was successfully sent, transaction id: 8c1113eeeb7462e4f01f2f927ba07b23c59c1f9976e393a3edf3dbfdd087d1a2 - 3 days later didn't show up as deposit, polo rep said he can't find it on their end and it is not in the blockchain. -The third chunk 15K too, sent with id: db06a0075e57a48d730f542ef8cd8f37460d9a448cc2149da7adf0ee91219917 - deposited, in blockchain. -The fourth, fifth chunk and sixth chunk all with 15K BCN, were sent with following ids: f6b6b1ec2a5f0c2093eff923160187876f03271074234c03c38365d8e7fe7f10 , 6fed382f25dadb8d7ce7a1eea0d758b570c5b0ddb012ff308651f2b99b5791eb , 180e159140e4df3e7ff5094163d34d5fb58b1afc6368812960e8f016bbb9fce2 - missing, not in blockchain. -The seventh chunk of 15K, sent with: cb12f673f0776ec60d9a913b44cdc708f3cd35a707089b2db458521d95fe8cca - deposited, in blockchain. All were sent between 13.00 and 16.00 on 3rd of July... In the process I sent 10K first, then after a few minutes 15K, then one more of 15K and then if I recall well I exited the wallet and the daemon to restart them and sent the other 4 chunks of 15K BCN. As you can see there's no specific order which of those passed through the network. So, where are the coins? Please understand me, the amount of lost coins is not a problem, but if this is a bug you would have to agree that it is a serious one if they don't show up on either end - back in the wallet or at poloniex deposit address. BTW, transaction ids were dug from the simplewallet's log OFC. After sending 100k in total my balance was down form 310K BCN to 210K BCN, in the last 3 days I dug more so I'm sitting at 325K - want to point out, since I'm mining with 1 270 card it is correct amount payed out from a pool and that coins left the wallet. And finally I just conducted a test, sent 25K to poloniex, transaction id is ee80d6b229bfacba7ca8f49d1bd1864f8ee8b669a5d351bc5df2be2445fd0da1 it's not there yet, I hope it will pass through the network or I can say that I'm stuck with wallet address and no way to transfer them to other wallet. Since I intend to do that, open a new wallet and transfer coins there to avoid transaction size limit. I think you faced this problem because you use old version wallet. Do the following: 1. exit from the wallet and daemon 2. delete p2pstate.bin 3. delete wallet file ( NOT .keys!) 4. Update your wallet and daemon: http://bytecoin.org/downloads5. Restart daemon and wallet. After that wallet everything should be OK. Did as you told me, not sure the coins are all there but I think they are. Anyway, just sent a deposit of 10K BNC now and I I'll see what happens... Looks like I am able to send now even smaller amount than before. Oh and I did use the latest binaries when I had the problem described in previous post. Also, I stopped mining so I don't create more dust, hopefully I will be able to transfer all of the coins on new address in those 10K amounts. If not, I dunno what to do... If it becomes possible only to send really small amounts like 5K or less... EDIT: 10K made it to the polo, waiting for confirmations. That is good.

Yeah, deffo on the pool side something is not ok. Forgot to tell you that CPU miner worked fine, did not lose the connection - the LucasJones 1.3 (cause of my CPU which doesn't support AES)... Now it also started to loose connection. Though it connects instantly after starting it. As for GPU miner, it was connected all the time (or it reconnected but I didn't see it) but hash-rate is below the max value where it should sit. GPU utilization is fine - 99%... As CPU's. Also I tried to mine XMR, and from a start I get some sub-max hash-rate which is very close to the max value as it should be... Ofc, I am connected almost instantly when I start the miner. Everything worked flawlesly for me till today. Maybe I'm an isolated case.

It started around 2,5 hours ago and the trouble is still here. Miner connects (Claymore GPU 3.4, nothing changed in settings; on port 7777 but acts the same on 5555; pools.txt is empty, using only .bat file for mining with no backup pools) after few tries - never from the first attempt, stays connected then disconnects, connects again... Or it doesn't at all. Then I shut it down and start it again. Acting erratic with no pattern...
Reinstalled drivers so it wasn't a software issue. It needed two attempts to connect. Currently it is connected but will see how long and will it get more disconnects and reconnects or will it stay disconnected...
Also the hash-rate which I see when the share is found increases way slower now. Takes 30 minutes to climb from starting 250 H/s to 300 and it still didn't top out on 330 where it should be! Pretty sure it wasn't like that before...

As I see it, you're not fighting the marketing battle since we have a very small community which is unnoticed, hence no "glorius marketing" battles to attract miners from other communities. What we do need is a pool, a basic marketing, something we could offer others to join MCN community. This way, those with enough hash power will solo mine till the price gets to the point where it isn't profitable to mine MCN at all and even if look a case of attracting more, new miners we would only raise the diff and that would lead us to rapid price drop 'cause the more would dump on daily level.
So, the best solution would be to get a pool with merged mining or at least MCN only pool.

I don't see any example of .bat file if you wanna mm BCN/FCN pair on only mm pool, which is unfortunately minergate.com, but can anyone copy one for me please or explain it better than in Read me? Is this formate OK:
GPU_MAX_ALLOC_PERCENT 100 NsGpuCNMiner.exe -o stratum+tcp://fcn-bcn.pool.minergate.com:5558 -u my_mail_I_use_for_minergate_pool -password_I_use_for_minergate
Yup, that is correct. I had to find that one on my own also, but that is exactly how to make MM work on there. Hey Claymore, Why are you hesitant to make the miner work with AMD 14.6 driver? Seems like most miners out there gain a performance of some sort from it. Hehe! Yeah, I only found your post with no adequate answer to it! Cheers mate!
