47  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Online Watch-Only wallet on: January 08, 2019, 01:52:43 PM
I use the https://www.blockonomics.co wallet watcher for that, it can also send you an email every time a transaction is performed on one of the addresses you enter. A free account let's you monitor up to 50 addresses.
48  Economy / Digital goods / Re: ICO SCRIPT [Make $$$] on: December 28, 2018, 12:39:06 AM
You are selling a script from thesoftking.com

http://lab.thesoftking.com/myico/

Did they grant you permission to sell this?

You are selling this for $99, the REAL script from the original author only costs $70 https://codecanyon.net/item/myico-initial-coin-offering-platform/21350478

Go away, you are a scammer.

50  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: With a booming on 2017 and difficult time on 2018, will Bitcoin recover on 2019? on: December 26, 2018, 09:27:14 AM
Unknown factor.... bitcoin WILL survive but nobody knows id it will "recover". Although i think "recover" is not the right word here since there is nothing to recover. BTC is still doing strong.

Cost please? Wink

$8000USD is the base price for a complete exchange. This is using the open source Ruby engine. We have an enterprise level option using our Rust engine which starts at $12000USD

 Shocked Shocked Shocked Shocked

Will you also provide the source to check for any security issues?
53  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Bomb Threat Email demands bitcoin ransom on: December 18, 2018, 09:32:13 AM
I see these all the time. Lots are being emailed out claiming to have hacked into your webcam and have secret footage of you in bad situations. Pay the bitcoin ransom or it all goes online. It gives bitcoin a bad name, but hopefully no-one will fall for it

It is sextortion and as you can see from this website: https://www.bitcoinabuse.com/reports sadly some people make loads doing this.

Makes me think if we need some sorth of rep system integrated in any altcoin client.

56  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Last block... 22 minutes ago... ? on: December 08, 2018, 07:56:50 AM
And there we go... 1 hour without blocks...

Could this be the first time this happened?

its something that always has happened for nearly 10 years.
there is no rule to fix it at 10 minutes.

its a 2016 per 2 week rule not a 10 minute rule
the 10minutes is just an average, not a fixed time

Gotcha...
Was kinda thinking something was going on though doing an hour without a block.

58  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Last block... 22 minutes ago... ? on: December 08, 2018, 07:44:28 AM
blockchain rules are not 1 block every 10 minutes

its 2016 blocks every 2 weeks. coded
which only in the human brain but not in code calculates to AVERAGE 1 block ~10min

this means there are times a block can arrive in 2 minutes and another block can arrive in 18 minutes and on average thats 2 blocks in 20minutes thus still being ~10mins each

in the last 24 hours ~144 blocks should have been produced.
24 hours ago block 552871 was made
at time of posting 552994
123 block mined
=5.125 blocks an hour = less than 12minute average

Gotcha... although at the time of this writing the last block was 52 minutes ago.
Does this mean later blocks will follow eachother in a faster rate to keep up with the average?
59  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Last block... 22 minutes ago... ? on: December 08, 2018, 07:34:15 AM
42 Minutes and counting.... wtf is going on?
60  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Last block... 22 minutes ago... ? on: December 08, 2018, 07:30:37 AM
I expected a slower network because of the miners shutting down but we are at 40 minutes now since last block...

People using bitcoin need to wait 40 minutes for a confirmation, that alone makes people want to stop using it, not a good thing.
