Hi - apologies for not making contact sooner. I had requested that you were all contacted a couple of days ago regarding the problems on the site that we have but I have subsequently found out that this has not happened. I have posted in our main betting thread the following: We received news Wednesday afternoon that one of our business critical technical suppliers had taken an executive decision that they no longer wished to support any cryptocurrency operations. This came as a shock to us and since that time we have been working round the clock to ensure that all of our customer base has been informed of this and have been returning funds to customers. At this point we do not have a date when this issue will be resolved as we are talking to different suppliers and working through when the site can be operational. It’s extremely disheartening for all involved. If any customer wishes to contact us then please either DM us here, or send a message to support@everybet.io. All customer funds are safe and we will process any withdrawal requests immediately. ----------- Clearly this is a less than ideal situation. We have been unable to make contact with our signature campaign organiser but I want to ensure that you are all paid. Please can campaign members: 1. DM me here, or via e-mail ( support@everybet.io) what you believe you are currently owed. I will go through the last updates provided to me from our campaign organiser and confirm the amount owed. 2. Provide me with a wallet address to pay you. I will be processing payments today. I'm extremely sorry about the situation. People that still condemns or criticize bitcoin had no knowledge on the cryptocurrency itself and most of them got their informations on some wrong sources. There are also reports in the media that some individuals are using bitcoin to scam people and this is one of the reasons why bitcoin is considered also a scam. The adoption of bitcoin as a currency or payment system continues as many companies or merchants around the world are now planning to accept bitcoin in the future.
Pretty much this. The enormous majority of people simply aren't educated enough on Bitcoin, even though it's essentially the 'household name' of all cryptocurrencies. I like to believe that people in general are prone to remembering the negative headlines regarding Bitcoin as opposed to the positive. Similar to how it's easier to remember a nightmare versus a regular/good dream. I've met people that quite literally believe Bitcoin is a scam based on ONE article headline they read. There's just so much misinformation regarding the subject- not to mention it's an incredibly hard/complex idea to wrap your head around, especially if you're a newbie. There are lots of companies working on making cryptocurrencies more 'understandable' if you will. For example Coinbase Earn! |

Hi OP I think your Senior/Hero Member signatures will cause error cause it exceed the maximum number of characters. Your signature has 10k characters and that's beyond the limit which is only 4000 characters. You can probably use this same signature but error-free code: [center][table][tr]

I reserve the right to deny/accept anyone and stop/pause/change the campaign as I see fit.

any idea how much money mr. novogratz lost with his failed bull calls on bitcoin? he is doing that since quite a while.
if you want stability for bitcoinprice from mr. novogratz then tell him to invest all his billions into bitcoin.
I think his crypto fund lost upwards of $130+ million since he started it last year heh. |

Novogratz has continued to make claims since as long as I can remember. He'll be considered a shark once one of these targets hit, but that goes for anyone attempting to make a call on the position of the market, or any "bottom" for that matter.
However, if we were to base this level of drop on historical price declines, Bitcoin is close to the point where it's been considered the "lowest lows". In 2011, Bitcoin dropped over 92%, in later years, high 80%, and so on. We are close to that range of retrace.
If anyone is buying right now, I think that it's a good idea to accumulate and hold at this point. Not all at once, of course!

Contrary to popular belief, Bitcoin's purpose is not to "experience a bull run" so you can sell it to accumulate more of your national currency. What I'd like to see happen in 2019 is for more people to realise that freedom is worth whatever price it happens to be. I actually like this so much, "freedom is worth whatever price it happens to be." Very well said. In response to OP, do you hold onto Bitcoin purely as an investment? One thing to keep an eye out for is the continued developments of the lightning network, which could be read about here: which could be read about here, in brief.A piece of information you could be excited for is the launch of Bakkt- a company/cryptocurrency exchange founded by the owner of the NYSE that's partnering with both Microsoft and Starbucks. Expected launch is in late January. I think most people should know by now that most ICOs were a load of nonsense and unfortunately a lot of people lost money investing in worthless whitepapers and anonymous teams. My opinion is that there is still value in a very select few of these projects, especially over the next couple of years. However, you're going to need to do some extreme due diligence to figure out which ones are not scams. With regards to Google Trends, I agree that hype isn't necessarily the best thing to consider when understanding the value of Bitcoin as a whole. There are 10 years of work, development, and foundation that Bitcoin is built upon, and market cycles shouldn't distract that fact. |

Personally, I agree with Buterin, he considers that blockchain is often used where it isn't needed. He has some doubts about IBM blockchain and blockchain-based food trackers.
Fair- that's why I'm hesitant to agree with the idea of every industry needing blockchain technology utilization/implementation. That just doesn't make sense, as it's currently a really expensive method overall, with respect to the network and mining and whatnot. It seems as though companies took the buzzword potential and ran with it, using it as free marketing. It sure did work in the past year! |

Logistics.
I would love to see for one hamburger all the path of the meat, from the cow to the slaughterhouse, where was stored, processed, how long was it transported and where from, basically all the bath from it's start until getting onto my table. And same for all the ingredients.
It would be a world more fair about what their are selling to us.
I like this a lot. This is an excellent example, and I really want to see this sort of thing implemented for logistics. If I recall correctly, there's a clothing company or two already attempting this- I believe that this is a trend that will catch on, and one that will become in demand. It will allow both government and consumer the power to keep companies accountable for their sustainability practices in business. |
