And the other 30 are the same ones that think hillary isn't a lying gob of crap.

Belonging to both groups should be enough for forced sterilization

Support for this crazy bitch is a sign of brain damage.  She's such an obvious sham I cannot believe a single person buys her crap.

Blech.

224  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Alpha Technology Litecoin (Scrypt) ASIC Miner Order Batch 1 Now! on: May 29, 2015, 02:45:39 PM
Still haven't been seeing any stories of people being refunded final payments, which had to be made in Bitcoin. Has anyone had a significant win, in terms of final payment? Alpha still seems to be getting away with not refunding final payments.

I paid the whole enchilada in bitcoins. I haven't heard of anyone receiving a refund even for deposits when paid in bitcoin. Even with the decreased in value I'd gladly accept a refund in btc 1-to-1 what I paid.

the only way to do this would be to sue them and get a judgement.

people are winning and getting paid, although every day that goes by makes it more likely they'll either run out of assets to pay or just close up.

I know the guy at fightalpha.net has been telling people this for nearly a year, as have I.  Do not wait, time is limited on these issues.  The only way to get the money back is to act.
225  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Alpha Technology Litecoin (Scrypt) ASIC Miner Order Batch 1 Now! on: May 18, 2015, 02:54:36 PM
Thanks for posting the update over here. I have not read about it yet. Honestly I already though I lost my funds invested in Alpha Technology; as we simply did not heard anything (or just rubbish) from them.

Let's see how this works out. I don't expect too much of it. But we'll see, everything that makes our loss less, is well appreciated.

sue them.  likely makes your loss 0.

they've been losing, likely because the shit they tried to pull in denying refunds is not legal under UK consumer law.

people have been winning in court and getting judgements paid.

see here:  fightalpha.net

there is a lot more in this thread also.....
226  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Alpha Technology Litecoin (Scrypt) ASIC Miner Order Batch 1 Now! on: May 15, 2015, 08:31:44 PM
LOL...man, this guy is a piece of work. He doesn't think he should be required to refund anyone's money, even though they're delivering a year later than promised and the hardware they're delivering is less powerful and efficient than advertised. No, Mohammed...when you advertise a device at 50MH/s, that doesn't mean "after overclocking" unless you SPECIFICALLY define that in the advertising, which you didn't do. People were expecting a 50MH/s device that they could THEN overlock, potentially.

It blows my mind how sleazy this guy and his operation are.

I see your point but nah. If I'm correct they advertised a 5 Mh/s machine. Plus if you want to take legal action, you'd have to convince a judge that pre-ordering a machine that only existed in concept and getting something X times faster (and, absolutely, very late) is a breach of contract.

In the UK you have a right to a full refund any time up to 7 days after deliver.  That right is absolute.

These guys tried to fight it, but have been getting their asses handed to them in court to this point.

I can't figure how anyone could not be demanding their $$$$ back as per consumer law.  I pulled mine back almost a year ago now and it would seem there is still the option to file if people haven't already done so.
227  Economy / Digital goods / Re: Sell egif starbuck bulk on: April 14, 2015, 07:31:18 PM
I have a question.  I don't ever go to Starbucks, but my fiancée loves it and I would love to supplement her spending there a little bit.  I can probably have her download the app from starbucks, then if I buy a egift card, do you just load the balance onto that?  And she can just keep paying from her phone and adding new egift cards when needed?

yes, exactly, but prepare for her to POSSIBLY be embarased (not always but ofen enuf) when she uses cards like these found on this forum and other place and the barista tells her that the card acount has been closed becuase the fund to get them were obtained "in a questinable manner."  so yes, as long as u warn her what mite happen she should be good like u say.

Yea, I will only buy from reputable people, but I know that is more than just a possibility.  Thanks for the information, I will give it a go and see what happens.

you can also buy from an established website such as giftcardgranny
228  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Alpha Technology Litecoin (Scrypt) ASIC Miner Order Batch 1 Now! on: April 14, 2015, 07:28:51 PM

229  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Black Arrow 28nm 100Ghash Bitcoin ASIC from $0.49/GH/s on: March 31, 2015, 03:30:10 PM
Let's not forget their lying streak while leaving trust on this forum.  I still have neg rep from them claiming multiple things they can't prove and have admitted to not being able to prove...because they are untrue.

They stated I was paid by the competition when it is blatantly obvious I was swindled for thousands by them and was just irritated they were incompetent losers.

They stated I purchased an X-1 from them and was refunded, but when asked to show proof of payment, order, and refund on the blockchain, never even got a response.  Probably because it never happened and they didn't want to take the time to fake orders and payments.

Also true.  they claimed people were being paid by the competition and used that completely fabricated excuse to justify deleting their posts, then posted feedback on some of them claiming the same thing, but admitted they had no proof of that when confronted by a journalist:

https://www.cryptocoinsnews.com/black-arrow-bitcoin-mining-battle-whos-telling-truth/

“We do not have any proof that these persons are working for the competition. As we said, we suspect from looking at their posts and of the dedication that they try to push us down.”
230  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Black Arrow 28nm 100Ghash Bitcoin ASIC from $0.49/GH/s on: March 31, 2015, 03:17:41 PM
Cross posting from another thread.  Just a little trip down memory lane:

let's look at the claims made by BASUXX.  My responses have a "P" in front of them

1.  They blew delivery to the point that by the time the product actually shipped it was useless.

P-  This is obvious.  Original delivery date was Feb 2014.   They are just now shipping to many customers.  For many people this thing now costs more to run than it earns.

2.  They shipped stuff that started on fire in people's homes and then didn't have the decency to even pay the return shipping on their firebombs.

P-  See here:

http://ecointalk.net/topic/1348-my-x3-caught-fire/page-15

3.  They shipped devices with faulty components and, again, made people pay the return shipping to send them back

P-  this is also true.  first, I think they blamed faulty capacitors, then at one point it was the PSU's, then I think it was the shipping companies fault, then they ended up blaming bad capacitors, then I think they had to do a recall on hashboards.

People that received these boards, which were shipped in a defective state, had to pay the shipping to have them returned.  It should also be noted that many, if not most, units were sold with some free hosting to test units prior to shipment.  This term of sale was violated in what I think was literally the vast majority of cases and would have likely caught many/most of these issues before leaving the factory.

4.  They promised to price match competition in terms of $/gh pricing at time of shipment and totally violated that.

P-  Several times, this user, Blackarrow, made this promise.

      Sept 24 2013    https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=294197.msg3225643#msg3225643

"What we are trying to say is:
     - We do not know what will happen with Bitcoin difficulty/revenue in February or December or even tomorrow. We do not avoid questions. We do not have an answer. Nobody has. On that date in February we will sell cheaper than our competition. This is our promise. If products from competition will have ROI in February than our products will have as well."

Other similar statements in that same thread:

    Sept 23:   https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=294197.msg3215902#msg3215902

"Customers who pre-order and pay now have 25% discount. Our promise is that we will ensure that customers who preorder now will always get a better deal than customers who order later.

At the same time we promise that our prices will be below market price at the time we ship.

This means that customers that preorder now will have considerable lower market prices by the time that we ship which puts them in advantage towards anybody else.

    Sept 23:   https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=294197.msg3219067#msg3219067

"Yes, you are guaranteed to get a price 25% below the market price ($/ghash) at the time of shipment.
And yes, we will keep our prices below every other company.

Bottom line is, whoever trusts us now, we promise that will help them to mine profitably after February as well. If you keep supporting other companies who have ripped you off until now, you'll barely get your ROI back.

Unless Bitcoin mining stops because it becomes unprofitable for everybody else in February, our customers WILL make profit.”

They made this promise again many months later in April of this year. They seem to have deleted that comment, but I found it in a pdf of this users comments I made because I expected them to do exactly this. For independent verification I think it is available on the wayback machine (scroll down to see user Blackarrow make this statement):

    http://web.archive.org/web/20140501213618/https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=294197.3380

    April 11, 2014

    User: BlackArrow

    Dear Customers,

We just want to let you know that we have not forgotten our promise and we will match in Ghash any competitor at the time of shipping. There is no point in discussing yet what extra hashing power you will receive as we have not started shipping yet.

ASIC price match announced in  this thread   is part of our promise.

    Regards! “

P-  It should be noted that this was April, at which time I think the expected ship date was May.

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=294197.msg7018927#msg7018927

Just to let everyone know. We are not ignoring compensation. We have promised things and we will fulfill our promises. However we want to do it properly. For that reason we first want to get shipping running and get back to business as usual. However we will do the right thing.

P-    Then in July, as shipping was actually ready to commence they reneged on this long-standing promise, stating they could not further increase compensation.  They have now completely abandoned that price matching promise as far as can be ascertained from anything coming out of BA since.

    http://www.blackarrowsoftware.com/store/bitcoin-miners-progress-update-06-july-2014.html

5.  They promised refunds for months and when it came time, they totally violated that promises, completely deleting the refund thread on their forum and denying all refunds.

P-  they even had a refunds thread going on their forum.  They delayed people for months, telling them they were too busy, to please wait, said in very clear terms that fiat refunds would happen in May of last year and then simply denied them altogether and deleted the thread, which is still up on the wayback machine:

http://web.archive.org/web/20140625182518/http://ecointalk.net/topic/558-refunds/

6.  They promised compensation for their delays, even going so far as to sell people PSU's for those compensation units, many, many months ago and have shipped nothing on that either.

P-  yep.  sold them, charged people for them.  far as I know haven't shipped a single compensation unit, leaving people with more useless junk.

http://ecointalk.net/topic/1383-black-arrow-lets-discuss-the-real-issues/?hl=compensation#entry19071

P- they've also made a few different promises on compensation, which was supposed to be shipped when general shipping was complete.  Now the story apparently is that they are developing a new miner.

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=294197.msg10792012#msg10792012

Perhaps they forgot. I will remind them.

We have not cancelled the compensation. As announced, compensation is going to be shipped immediately as we clear the queue.

The queue has been cleared, thus the compensation must be shipped immediately. WHY HAS IT NOT SHIPPED???

We are working on a new miner. We'll offer compensation to those interested and who did not put defamatory posts on the internet as soon as it becomes available.

7.  They made promise after promise after promise on delivery dates and kept none of them, stringing people along for nearly a year.

P-  Also True.  It was supposed to be delivery in Feb 2014, then it got pushed to May, then it was I think June/July.

"Next Week" became a running joke on their thread as that was seemingly when they'd be delivered.

8.  They made promises as to the capacity of their production line that were used to make people think they could crank these out in no time.  Those claims were proven totally false.

P-  True also.  I don't have a link to that, although I seem to recall them saying that they could put out thousands of units a week and bring on more capacity of necessary.

9.  They sold rentaminion cloud mining services to people that TO THIS DAY have gotten little, if any, payout.

P-  Yep.  Far as I know those people got a couple of small payments and have been left totally hanging.
http://ecointalk.net/topic/933-cloud-mining-rent-some-minions-questions/page-6

10.  People's personal data ended up at another mining hardware company that claimed it was sold to them by Black Arrow, against their own terms and consumer law.

P-  Also true.  Xbtec says they bought this information from Black Arrow in blatant violation of their own terms of sale, while Black Arrow says they stole it.

Oddly enough, not a lot has been done by either side on this issue, apparently.

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=626694.420

11.  They claimed to not have the money to refund because all had been spent on manufacturing.  They also claimed that most of the money for the project was not from customer funds, completely contradicting that claim.  They also went to work on other things apparently, while claiming they were penniless.

P-  Yep, also true.

    http://bitcoinexaminer.org/alex-berk-black-arrow-as-soon-as-14nm-is-available-well-release-a-new-asic-that-will-outperform-any-other-14nm-designs/

“We funded more than 70 percent of the project ourselves.  “

They made the same claims as to funding in the bitcointalk thread:

    https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=294197.msg6626086#msg6626086
Quote from: DebitMe on May 09, 2014, 02:50:18 AM

but this first batch was entirely funded by our orders,

“Where did you get this idea from? Please read again the initial announcement.

They got pretty rude with customers that were asking about refunds in July also:

    https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=294197.msg8090162#msg8090162

    User: BlackArrow:

If you have purchased from us, your money are here:  http://www.globalfoundries.com/

Users were also reporting that their bitcoin can be seen sitting in the same wallets to which they were sent until they reported a theft of BTC.

    https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=800660.msg9017929#msg9017929

And what BASUXX did not mention is the reported history of Alex Sovu, whom is believed to be the director of Black Arrow and who, along with some others at Black Arrow was apparently charged with credit card fraud in Romania.  See this thread for that:

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=716310.msg8090697

Just logged in after a week to find about seven of my posts on the Blackarrow thread deleted [again].

The bulk post deletions of the Blackarrow swindlers are what prompted the forum owner to resurrect all those deleted posts, open this thread and place them here for all to see.

As I said on a now deleted thread earlier, I am really looking forward to seeing criminal prosecutions of those responsible for international fraud and theft of cash and bitcoins by Blackarrow.

On a slightly different note, it is surprising to read that supposed outstanding BA products ordered will be destroyed. This has got to be the most public destruction of doorstops in history!

Yeah, that's their bot, more than likely.

Just create another account.  They can't physically watch the forum 24/7 and the bot will only the delete the users that it is programmed to purge.

tweaking my ass.

if they had anything hashing we'd be seeing evidence of that.

nothing in this says where they are, or when they'll be done.

resources we have available?

ahhhh, now we're getting to it.  start to allude to the fact that these people pulling their money are slowing things.

eventually that will stop things completely, isn't that right Mubasher?

then it will all be on them, right?

what's your annual salary Mooshie?  How much have you pulled out?  What does that balance sheet look like right now?  Curious "schemeholders" would like to know all of this and more, I am sure.

that's a slithering scumball response if I've ever seen one.  No info and set the table to cut and run.

For those who wish to get their money back, there is a law firm that has won all cases they've tried against Alpha.

They will handle all aspects of suing Alpha, all paperwork and court hearing, without any involvement from you being necessary, for a reasonable flat-fee.

The fee that was paid to them has been recovered on other cases, as well they argued that Alpha should pay 8% annual interest on the money they refused to refund, which the court found in favor of.

I will be posting their details in a newsletter soon, so if you want to hear about them just sign up at the site.

I may have to pursue something like this if they don't give us another lipservice update very soon.

I'd get on that ASAP.   On my sliding scale based admittedly on nothing but my own opinion and observation of this and other similar situations,  the odds of bankruptcy are far greater than that of delivery of anything at this point.

there hasn't been a substantive update in months that I recall and they seem to be getting their ass handed to them in court.

line forms to the left to sue.  run, don't walk.  no pushing.....

Nice work.

Has everyone given up hope that these assholes will actually ship something?

I don't know what to pin any such hope on.

They've not updated in months with any real info.

We know their court cases are going not so well.

We also know they are accountants, so I expect a bankruptcy declaration at any moment.

Here's a copy of the e-mail sent to customers on Wed, Jan 29, 2014 at 7:30 PM.

Quote
Dear [customer name],

We have to inform you that our schedule to manufacture and assemble the system has been disrupted and we
are unable to make delivery of the Batch 1 Minion ASIC chip on the initial scheduled date (end of February). We
are now expecting to dispatch all Batch 1 orders on 1st of May 2014.

Please be reassured we are confident that we have tried our best to accomplish our initial ambitious targets.
However, we came to the conclusion that it is in the best interest of our customers to delay shipping in order to
ensure that the product provides the best-possible user experience.

Without this delay we would have achieved 1.5W/Ghash which would have meant that our chip would not have
been competitive at all.

We have now finalized the design process using our newly improved code and will start manufacturing the chip
(tape out) in the next few days.

We are happy to announce that Black Arrow Software’s products remain on target for being the best in their
class for power consumption. We confirm that our latest improved design has the following technical
specifications:

·0.75w/Ghash on TT corner @ 25C which is expected to run at 120Ghash/sec.

·SS corner will be 0.6w/ghash and will run at 100Ghash.

·A further underclocking and underpower should be possible and should yield 80Ghash @ 0.5W/ghash.
However, please note that this is not guaranteed to work stable.

Please note, that a further push for improvement in the optimization process would have guaranteed further
delays for at least 1-2 months.

It is no secret to us that the Bitcoin mining process is proving to be more and more difficult every day. To
compensate our loyal customer for the unforeseen delay of in delivering our miners for batch 1, we are happy to
offer free extra hashing power which consists of 25% of your purchased hashing power from our Rent-
Some-Minions cloud program for 4 months.

The account for the tape-out has been settled in full and we are confident that the delivery will be completed
shortly.

We are taking all the necessary measures and positive actions to expedite delivery to you as soon possible and
we are confident that we have the resources to be successful.

Please note:

·We estimate that the delivery for the Batch1 will coincide with the delivery of the Batch2

·The delivery of Batch2 remains unchanged

·The one-off offer presented above is open to the customers who placed orders for Batch1

Sincerely,

The Black Arrow Software Team

Yeah, after weeks/months of telling people they were on schedule, and still taking orders of course, they then say May

That was May 2014 and these incompetent lying fuckwads still haven't shipped everything.

Nope and at this point these are useless.  Shipping didn't really even kick in until they were junk.  No doubt in my mind that these thieving bastards were mining with our stuff instead of shipping.

Do any of you case winners actually think you will be paid?  Now comes the fun part.

who knows.  it's better than letting them simply walk off with people's money....

No... it is EXACTLY like them simply walking off with people's money.  They will shuffle money around like accountants do, then have the company go bankrupt, and pocket it all.  These guys need jail time.

No it is not.  Doing something is not the same as doing nothing.

I agree these people should go to jail but also think people should be trying to get their money back instead of simply sitting back and doing nothing.

People have filed fraud reports and taken other steps to report them to legal authorities as well.   This is only one vector in all of this.

Absolutely something like this would be nice.  The se people are taking a feature meant to keep threads on topic and using it to run scams.

A direct link to deleted posts would be helpful also, but anything would help.
