261  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Re: Black Arrow 28nm 100Ghash Bitcoin ASIC from $0.49/GH/s on: January 05, 2015, 01:56:22 PM
how in the fuck does that piece of shit BlackArrow seem to have a positive trust rating?

is it just me or is something fucked up with the trust system.  even his trusted ratings seem negative.

anyone?
Looks pretty negative to me. Check again. Maybe also because I left him negative feedback myself.

it does look negative today, as it should.  totally different from what was being shown yesterday for some reason.

You guys are just crazy talkers. I ordered from Black Arrow and got my miners with no problem and they work great. I had a problem early and support walked me threw my problmes.

What Im seeing here is only a very small group of guys trying to distroy BA and probably didn't even order any thing from them. I bet that Bruno Kucinskas is behind many of the sock puppets that are spewing shit about BA. That is why Alex has banned his Gleb Gamow from this thread and others I'm sure. But he keeps coming back with sock puppets some that are very old accountants i see.

Bruno Kucinskas already distroyed other mining companys with sock puppets and his crusades. Hell even look what he and his clowns are now doing to Butterfly Labs on their official thread. That is why they no longer try to maintain it any longer. Bruno gets paid by the accounts he doesn't attack. That fact has already been prove. Read my blog http://bitcoinscamphinnaeusgage.blogspot.com/

For all the newbies Black Arrow is fine and there is no police reports on them. Alex and the crew answer all there emails and they ship within 2-3 days or faster.

ubozhdane

WTF? That's the must bullshit post I've ever read!

My advice to anyone new to bitcoin would be to never, ever buy bitcoin miner hardware and just buy bitcoins instead. Leave the mining to the old timers and corporations. The whole bitcoin scene is full of scams, criminals and broken promises. Good honest people are hard to find in the cryptocurrency scene.

So I repeat my personal advice: Do not buy bitcoin hardware!!

The early days are gone, you're gonna lose money so just buy a few bitcoin, hold some, spend some.
bye.

pretty much.  that idiot has a blog set up to flame Phinneaus Gage, who was dead nuts right on this shit-stain of a company.

not a word of what he said makes any sense.  we all know their customer service sucks.  we all know that people have been waiting for more than a year for their miners.  we all know that their miners are no longer worth anywhere near what was paid for them, contrary to their core assertion that they would match market price at time of shipment.   that bring up an interesting question.  if he ordered and got his shit in 2-3 days, what did he pay for it and when did he order it?  not that I expect an answer because this is such obvious bullshit, but if he did order recently and paid 6 K for  2 Th/s miner that has reportedly been of utterly shitty quality when Bitmain will sell the same for 1250 while standing behind their product he's a double moron.

He's obviously affiliated with these pieces of shit at Black Arrow, as he is sucking the BlackArrow dick so hard I can hear the nuts slapping him in the chin.   total fucktard.
264  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Alpha Technology Litecoin (Scrypt) ASIC Miner Order Batch 1 Now! on: December 12, 2014, 03:21:12 PM
Don't forget that their T&C state that anyone who asks for a refund automatically forfeit their order and any  money paid toward it. I bet they'll be using that somehow.

They had up to 2,400 orders right? 1,200 for each unit? If that's the case, and let's say 2,000 people bought-in, the reality is very few of them are here voicing any complaints. There's only been an "active" complaint group of about 100 people. Small percentage. I wouldn't say the majority of folks are against receiving equipment, we haven't heard from the majority.

They may try, although I doubt it's in any way legal or enforceable.

Those pesky DSRs again and their clearly stated right to request, and receive, a refund.  I haven't read the protection from unfair trading practices 2008 in a while although I'd be surprised if it didn't expressly exclude terms which conflict with consumer law, or if that wasn't present somewhere in consumer law.  A business can't simply void laws that it doesn't like.  Doesn't work that way.

That they make these sorts of attempts, such as "you're a business not a consumer" pisses me off more than any of the rest of it and is one reason I keep lurking this thread, as I'll try to help people to try to get their money back still, if they want to give it a shot.

Attempting to take advantage of people that may or may not know any better is shitty beyond belief.  They should not be left to do this again and, in reality, they've probably learned how to improve the scam and protect themselves better the next time around.  They've proven to me that they are completely unethical and shouldn't be given another chance to try to fuck people again.

Personal judgment on its way against Mohammed and Alpha. Defence was struck out!

So i am planning to ask the court to summon Mohammed and explain the fraud he has perpetrated. If he does not attend they will issue an arrest warrant.(the joy that would bring me...!)

What i wanted to ask you all was, what questions should i ask Mohammed? Wink be creative and polite, as this will be court of law and send them to me on PM as i do not hang out here all the time. Have a few weeks before I can submit this so plenty of time to prepare!

Yes am sending the sheriffs but don't expect any success there with this load of sharks.

Also promise to let you all know when and where his appointment with the court will be if you want to attend!

That's awesome.

I'll PM over questions if anything occurs to me.

If you want to post how you went about it, here and/or on fightalpha, it might help others.

Nice work in bird-dogging these SOBs.  They should not just get away with this.

267  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Alpha Technology Litecoin (Scrypt) ASIC Miner Order Batch 1 Now! on: November 29, 2014, 01:42:38 PM
But then again, you could have made the recording yourself. I hate myself for having a mind like this now after mixing with the cryptocurrency scammers.

Yes I suppose I could. But to what end? To discredit Raj? I didn't need to make this recording to do that. Read his posts, look at his posting history. He was a notorious Alpha shill from day one. His last post on ltctalk was the one I quoted on April 18th, slagging me off. He has not made a single post since then, no slagging off Alpha on their forums or here. Yet he pops up a couple of days ago and starts slinging shit around and has yet to provide even a btc address, let alone any other proof to back it up.

Now read my posts. I've been against Alpha from the start. I have posted numerous times on the small claims process. How easy and cheap it is. I've posted several times that you don't need someone to represent you and you don't even need to be in the country. I have not once asked for money in fact I asked any donations offered be sent to Sea Shepard. Now here's the really stupid part. It takes less time to file a claim than its going to take me to write this post. It's that easy. If Raj did pay me why would I not just file the claim? It's a piece of piss. If the judge dismisses it, that's not my fault. In fact I could run a longer con and solicit more money by dragging it out.

Raj says he has only waited two weeks before posting this. TWO WEEKS ?? The small claims process can take months. I was posting here 2 weeks ago I hadn't gone dark, why did he not just post a simple question publicly on the forum. " Hey Retro. How's my claim going?" Why come out and NUKE me after supposedly 2 weeks, that's barely enough time to get the forms in and returned.

Supposedly I'm smart enough to fake a recording of threats made to my house but stupid enough not to send Raj_Kapur a simple PM to say "Hey Raj your claim is going fine" I've got enough time on my hands to fabricate a complicated recording, but not enough time to file a simple small claim. Yet Raj is supposed to have enough internet ninja skills to track me down like a bloodhound but is too stupid to file his own small claim. It doesn't make any sense.

I guess I could have made the recording to make Alpha look like dicks. But did I really need to do that? I think that's already been well established.

Anyway, believe what you want to. I'm going to keep doing everything I can to bring Alpha down, regardless.

I noticed the exact same thing after going to ltc and reading his posts.  After being an idiot, of course, and not bothering to do that in the first place before popping off, which I absolutely should have, given that the claimant had a grand total of 2 posts on this forum.

If he's such an Alpha hater at this point why isn't there a single post, aside from this attempt to discredit retro, where he is jumping on their ass.  there is not a single post trashing them or even complaining about the delays, lack of communications or this silly attempt to classify customers as businesses after the fact to screw people out of their rights as consumers.   not one post.

his posts there are all rah-rah Alpha and attempting to challenge or undercut any competition to alpha while claiming alpha is the only legitimate scrypt asic manufacturer in existence.

retro has been here posting all along, I went back and read his posts also, and is clearly no Alpha fan.  he's been giving people advice to try to help them and I've seen no attempt to solicit money from anyone for doing so.

and, as others have said, if this happened, where are the e-mails and communications of this.  anyone could file a suit if this were the real deal and win handily.  there is no logic for not doing so.

so, raj, provide some proof of your claims or I think the only reasonable conclusion one can come to is that you are totally full of shit.

268  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Alpha Technology Litecoin (Scrypt) ASIC Miner Order Batch 1 Now! on: November 27, 2014, 06:12:33 PM
This is how you're going to play it Alpha?..........OK

I'll tell you how this all went down and you can make your own minds up.

As everyone knows I have been pretty vocal in my opposition to Alpha. Raj_Kapur on the other hand has been a shill from the start. Read his posts on the litecointalk forum.

This is what he wrote about me https://litecointalk.org/index.php?topic=2859.msg160161#msg160161
Quote
Okay after reading your post it is clearly evident you are jealous of alpha-t's success, maybe you are Crypto Industries? (they sounded a lot like you), have alpha-t put you out of business? After viewing retro's post history, all he talks about is his jealousy and hatred for alpha-t. I think you should learn how to do business from these guys, IBtimes seem to love them Tongue And their updates are really kickstarter style and very transparent.

I also do not see the point of prior manufacturing experience, KNC had no prior manufacturing or engineering experience, neither does any Bitcoin ASIC company to think off it. Yifu was also very young, and KNC were old IT men. So I know by you saying this point you are just talking out of spite and jealousy towards alpha-t and dexcel.

Question is , who am i?? I am an Indian who loves me some ASIC Cheesy and my hats goes of to alpha and dexcel for their transparency from day 1. Alpha technologies have set a new industry standard from their 30% deposit, detailed regular updates and constant community feedback through their forums, All current and future mining companies should learn from this example.

Also as you can see here he states he didn't buy a device as he couldn't afford one. https://litecointalk.org/index.php?topic=2859.msg93314#msg93314

Litecoinninja, and mainly Retro. You keep commenting non-stop on this forum negative bs, when you get proven wrong you move onto something else. Okay we understand what your saying... most likely you are competitor's friends, or are indeed the other projects members. It is only 2 PEOPLE, who are constantly posting this stuff.. i am mainly looking at RETRO, he is on this forum and bitcointalk forum, non-stop negativity.

It is clear Retro is part of another competitor's project or something else. Because if he actually cared about what a real scam was, he would be on Jasinlee's forum, who is jasin working with? what is jasin's name? or address? or company name???.. you don't even know the basics on jasinlee besides from a one person team.

That is the truth.

+9999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999 SO TRUE! (sorry guys been in Goa, holidays with the families.. i didn't buy a device cudnt afford)

So I'm going to let you into the sequence of events over the last couple of weeks leading up to today.

Friday 14th NOV approx 12.20 AM: I receive a call to my home office phone repeating my username over and over in text to phone disguised voice. I hadn't answered the call so it was left a a message

Friday 14th Nov 01.32 AM: I receive another voicemail message saying: "Retro72 you are not anonymous". They then go on to state my full name and address, my wife's name then say " If you do not stop your online harassment we will take action"

I then start to get hang up calls.

Because the phone is an unused line in my office I hardly hear it so I didn't realise these messages were they until a week later. All the calls are being redirected in some way so the numbers are gobbledygook. I have saved the threat to my answerphone and once I figure out how to get a clear recording onto my PC I'll upload it.

I'm not a guy that's easily intimidated but I thought it best I report it to the police. Which I have done. Please contact Surrey police to verify this, the incident number is 4514 0100 237
They said there was not much they could do as there was only one recorded incident. I had deleted the first retro72 call before I listened to the second more threatening call. I was advised not to share this incident with the forum as it would likely confirm to Alpha they had the right target.

Well as of today with these posts Alpha have now committed a criminal offence. My incident has been kicked up to CID and is being investigated as harassment via electronic communications. So well done Alpha you probably couldn't go to prison before, but you can now. Bravo. I have also alerted CID to your asic scam so another pat on the back.

Now to the allegations I scammed Raj_Kapur or anyone else for that matter.

Why would I help an obvious Alpha shill?
Why would I only take money from you and not anyone else?
Can you please show the bitcoin wallet you sent this money to?
Post emails of any communications I had with you?

I have advised many people on this forum and LTCtalk and have not once asked for a penny in fact as many will attest when I was offered a donation I asked it be sent to Sea Sheperd

Hi IAS,

If the letter helps to get your money back and you want to make a small donation, I'd really appreciate it if you would make it to Sea Shepherd at
https://www.seashepherd.org.au/support-us/support-us.html#bitcoin

I wish you the best of luck.

Cheers

R

Great idea!
I will send my letter on the 1st of the month.

Best
IAS

This is probably the most disgusting dick move played by Alpha to date. The police are now all over them and if you hadn't already figured out what a bunch of pathetic scumbags these guys are. Well here's your proof. Please google earth my address. Does it look like the house of a kid that pulls off shitty $500 scams online  Roll Eyes
Yep I've started several businesses and legally dissolved them. No muss no fuss. No scams or frauds, unlike these arseholes. Now I'm a pretty successful freelance Illustrator, my work can be seen at www.nickyjoseph.com I also own and run www.virtuawear.com a digital sportswear illustration business.

WHO ARE YOU RAJ? I'm sure the CID will be requesting all the details from BTCtalk so we'll find out soon enough. If you want to believe an Alpha shill with 2 posts to his name and fifty others on ltctalk pumping up Alpha so be it. There's nothing I can do about that. But Alpha calling my home, leaving threatening messages, posting my contact details online and trying to solicit trolling and threats against me, is pretty fucking low.

I'm pretty fuming and disgusted right now but I'm going to let the police handle this. Ironically I had pretty much decided to leave Alpha alone and concentrate on my dispute with KNC, then I got the threats.  But REST ASSURED ALPHA I will now make it my life's mission to see you dragged before the courts.

that makes complete sense.

if this person is telling the truth there are records.

My apologies for not bothering to check this out before bitching you out.

That was stupid and I take full responsibility for that.  No excuse.

Black Arrow is such a crap company!
If they have any honour left, they should all kill themselfs!

they never had any.   the whole thing was structured in the first place to attempt to dodge any legal ramifications.

everything they've said in terms promises made to sell these and to keep people onboard through their endless delays was utter bullshit.  every bit of it.  a purposeful swindle from minute 1.

these people are nothing but scum.  they started as scum and they're scum now.

Is this e-mail for real?

Quote

It seems in line with what I've seen in others, including one the shitbags sent to me, so I'd say it probably is.

we're so late that these things are impossible to sell at these prices and, oh yeah, their quality is for shit.  nobody but a drunk with daddy's money would buy anything from us.

oh and bitmain chewed our balls clean off and is now eating them with a side of fava beans and a nice Chianti.

that is all clearly your fault so you get to eat the loss.

oh, happy holidays

Regards!

Got this card in the mail today. If you paid by credit card, and haven't opened a dispute, definitely do it sooner rather than later! It was past the time for me to start the dispute online, but a simple message to them made it happen. I immediately got the temporary credit. Alpha replied to them close to the 45 day mark when it would have been permanent and said it was still within the time frame for them to deliver (a blatant lie). Chase asked me for some documents... I sent the original terms of order, the email from March 19th showing shipping date in July, the one from March 27th removing PayPal as an option, the one from May 21st requesting final payment (which I had no way to complete as PayPal was gone), the email July 28th saying delivery in September, and the one from Sept 27th saying delivery in October. I pointed out that the terms said shipping 8-10 weeks after final payment, which they requested May 21. That would have put the shipping date July 31. I sent this email to Chase October 28th, so way past that.

Good luck!

Nice.  And, yes, this process takes time, nearly 2 months to get this done, so people should get steppin'.

272  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Alpha Technology Litecoin (Scrypt) ASIC Miner Order Batch 1 Now! on: November 25, 2014, 01:59:08 PM
Got a reply from the UK Companies House about the registered office address being vacant and being unable to contact them.

"I can confirm that I have written to the company to request the forms AD01 to update the public record without delay.

As we have no response steps will be taken to commence action to remove this company from the Register."

Good work man.

+1

for sure.   they'll have to re-register or they are completely out of business.

this is also important news for people trying to get their money back via the courts, CC or PayPal.

nice.
273  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Anything more funny than Americans ignorant about their Financial System? on: November 21, 2014, 06:11:57 PM
Define Ignorant.

That is trickier than it sounds as there are many facets, layers and complexities to the American financial system or any modern financial system for that matter.  How it runs, how it is run, the factors behind it, the factors influencing it.

It is almost impossible to really 'understand' the financial system thoroughly so I'm going to hazard a guess and say that most people are far more ignorant of the machinations of their financial system than they would like to believe and I'm going to include myself in that, along with most of the rest of the people sucking air right now.

Are Americans 'more' ignorant?  Who knows.  I've met some serious morons and I've met some extremely smart folks along the way here in the US of A, and I imagine that's the truth of it in most places....

I've noticed that their latest exercise in information control is on their facebook page.

posts are disappearing off of that thing daily.  mention fire: gone.  mention Sovu: gone.  basically tell the truth:  gone.

they're probably hoping to clean their image up.

good luck with that, shitbags.
275  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Alpha Technology Litecoin (Scrypt) ASIC Miner Order Batch 1 Now! on: November 14, 2014, 10:12:16 PM
Already contacted CoinDesk about it a few days ago.

I don't care if they're accountants and have moved money, the law is the law and they've broken it. I will seek restitution.

They're accounts for god's sake, they make their living legally hiding money and moving it around.  If you think there is any money left in a legally touchable corporate account you're simply being delusional.

Suggesting that victims do nothing, because these guys have accountants in the family and may have moved their money around, tells me you probably haven't lost any money to this venture.

yep.  doing nothing gives zero chance.

maybe odds are slim at this point even with action, although I don't know that's true either.  we can't without knowing a lot more than is ascertainable from the available information at this point.

but by doing something there's certainly a better chance at some recompense than if people do nothing at all.  100%, zero doubt about that.
276  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Alpha Technology Litecoin (Scrypt) ASIC Miner Order Batch 1 Now! on: November 13, 2014, 03:43:45 PM
Maybe they did build the machines and simply let their primary investor use them. If anyone remembers, they got a large influx of cashflow back in July from a semi-well-known bitcoin investor. Then, when he's done with them, they'll be shipped out to the customers.

entirely possible.  I'm leaning more towards another fookup, as they've just gone totally black.

If they had progress we'd be hearing about it.  if they had product they could always divert something to their whale and send something out in terms shipping volume to shut people up and they'd never know the difference.

this info blackout is a bad call from their end, no matter how you slice it.

can't wait to see what kind of story they come up with.  who knows maybe Mushi finally cracked completely and he's out wandering the streets of Manchester talking to light poles.  Have you my Vipers?  No?  But the mailbox told me to talk to you, the cheeky little monkey!

277  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Alpha Technology Litecoin (Scrypt) ASIC Miner Order Batch 1 Now! on: November 13, 2014, 02:16:26 PM
we are talking about telling bullshit to the court which could lead to a default judgement against them. anyone with a clear mind wouldnt write a defense to court which is could easily  be proofed wrong by a law student 1st sem. i am not a lawyer and i couldnt find anything concerning that on the net. but there must be a clear answer to whether uk jurisdiction applies to non uk residents or not. and i am not talking about using mcol with a foreign address, which is indeed possible but being a non uk citizen.

This has been asked and answered many times. A quick google search will provide you with the answers.

Can I still use Money Claim Online if I live abroad?

If you live abroad you will still be required to provide a UK address to be able to use Money Claim Online. If you live abroad you are able to provide service address in order to fulfill this requirement, however.

Alpha have stated many things in there money claim defences and as far as I know they have yet to win a case. Why people are still waiting around debating this is beyond me.

yep.  inaction is their friend.  pretty much their only friend, far as I can tell.
278  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Alpha Technology Litecoin (Scrypt) ASIC Miner Order Batch 1 Now! on: November 13, 2014, 01:07:24 PM
here are the documents from companies house about alpha-t from 2014.
http://www.xup.to/dl,23926743/alpha_t_2014.zip/
maybe its of use for some people here.

at least they still defend their claims made against them. so not ran off completely.
whats strange is that some claimants get the defense of not being a uk customer and therefore claim is out of uk jurisdiction. could there possibly be a sneaky way that alpha-t is right here? cause why the heck would they else write such thing knowing this complete bullshit

That's just an answer.  the answer doesn't have to be correct, but as in tennis, if you don't volley it back you may lose.

I'm not a lawyer either, and I'm not in the UK, so take this as layman's opinion, as that's all it is.

However, I recently was in court with a former landlord that rented some units to my business.  We had a battle going on over some shit.  Part of this battle was over venue as they tried to push it to another local county which was more favorable to them.  We fought them on that and ultimately won, pushing it to a county that was more favorable to us, as our attorneys are absolute powerhouses in this county, which they knew, and therefore had tried to push it out.

Anyhow, A court can't try something unless it can be shown that proper venue is that court.  In our case it was what county, in this case they seem to be trying to say that UK is not proper venue and/or the UK courts therefore do not have jurisdiction.

That's obviously bullshit.  their TOS indicates UK law, they are registered in the UK, they do business in the UK (suppliers, customers etc. are in the UK which is more important than you might think) and the sale itself occurred in the UK.

If it were me I would point all of that out and indicate that therefore this is indeed proper venue and within the jurisdiction of the UK courts and provide any supporting evidence I could.  I can't see a court denying itself jurisdiction of something clearly under their jurisdiction, but the way the game is played you have to tell them why.  They know why but if they don't deny Alpha's answer outright on this you have to tell them why anyhow.

As some have also indicated you need a UK address also, so don't leave that hole dangling either.

(For my friend Mubasher, who is undoubtedly reading this:  I told you I would stick it up your ass by helping others pull their money out if you didn't simply refund my money, as per the law, so here's another present for you, asshole.)

Please rest assured that this issue is covered by warranty and in order to provide peace of mind to customers that are concerned that this might happen to their machine we are offering hosting into our partner's datacenter in China. This includes any X3 unit that has been shipped or still due to be shipped. Please contact us via our customer support, should you like us to host your X3.

Fuck these people, they even just figured out how to take advantage of the fact that their pieces of shit light on fire to make not just the Rent-Some-Minions a Ponzi scheme, but also the direct hardware sales! These X3's never have to be made, all they have to do is once you're ready to end hosting, contact you with a price to ship it to you that isn't worth it, and in the meantime all they did was pay you back a tiny portion of your own bitcoins pretending you've been mining.

Meanwhile they're collecting an extra hundred bucks every month from you for the privilege of being conned, they keep all the functional X3's for themselves for their own personal farm, preferentially ship out the broken ones to a small amount of customers, and handle all the RMA related issues at customer expense.

Holy crap are we all idiots for not being criminals.

Yep.  Unless they include shipping of the product at the end of this hosting and allow us to remotely monitor and control these, as I think they promised at the outset we could do during the free 5 day period (or maybe it was rentaminion) this could be exactly this sort of scam.

There are people who live in/near manchester who have posted up here, even recently. One of those folks should hop over there and provide some recent photos, maybe even see if anyone is around to talk. Talk to the neighboring businesses as well, get basic info about the coming/going of folks to the office.

I doubt there's anyone in that office, however, from what I remember M. Akram Accounting was right next door.  I think that's dad, who would likely claim to have no knowledge of Mubasher's whereabouts or what is up with Alpha now, as he distanced himself several months ago, but he could still be served as a former member of this scammola or witness and forced to give a deposition and/or testimony.

All it takes is one domino.  If I still had money in this game that'd be the one I'd be looking to knock over.  Mubasher can run and hide.   Dad cannot.
