281  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Black Arrow 28nm 100Ghash Bitcoin ASIC from $0.49/GH/s on: November 12, 2014, 05:29:52 PM
So are they burning or not burning?  First they say they're not burning, as there's nothing to burn, but the fire is really the LED blinking.  I found that inventive, even for them.  They must have smoked a serious joint to come up with that crazy shite, or maybe dropped some shrooms and asked the dog for it's professional opinion.

Now they're saying that the plastic can burn and that the fumes are toxic.

So, then is the story that the LEDs are emitting toxic fumes?

Garsh, I am so confused.......

Well, not as confused as these fucking morons, but still pretty damn confused.

Wait, I've got it.  It's the LED manufacturer's fault!  Those bastards!

ETA:  They really should stop that idiot Nemesidis from posting.  Everything is either some snotty shitheaded comment or an outright lie.  And this is the customer support director, as per his LinkedIn page.  LOL.  That is totally typical of this shitty fucking company.  Assign exactly the wrong people for the job and let them run wild.
282  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Alpha Technology Litecoin (Scrypt) ASIC Miner Order Batch 1 Now! on: November 10, 2014, 07:47:07 PM
Did I miss something? Wasn't there supposed to be an announcement about their next excuse for not shipping customer's miners. Have they gone totally dark, off the radar completely? Sure doesn't instill any confidence to those who are waiting for their rigs.

They've shit the bed again, obviously.

Any time any of these companies goes dark, run like hell.  The instant these pukes looked likely to miss their date and started getting squirrely with the updates I pulled the ripcord.  There are other vendors out there.

They are very fast, all of them, to report victories, or everything rolling on schedule.  When the shit hits the fan the POS assholes can't find their keyboards for anything.
283  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Black Arrow 28nm 100Ghash Bitcoin ASIC from $0.49/GH/s on: November 10, 2014, 07:41:43 PM
Raked a shit-ton of leaves over the weekend and burned them in the fire pit.

Either that or someone dumped a bunch of LED's into it.

Black Arrow, where your miners do not burn, even when they're on fire.  Why? because fire is not fire, it is a blinking LED.

See?  No fire.  No such thing as fire.

Cavemen discovered LED's and we've been cooking with them ever since.
284  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Black Arrow 28nm 100Ghash Bitcoin ASIC from $0.49/GH/s on: November 08, 2014, 02:11:16 PM
Don't worry, the latest firmware hosed my miner... check the ecointalk forums for details. To be fair, BA have been quick in correspondence with me to help sort out my miner; lets see if they can set it all straight

that doesn't surprise me at all.  they suck at literally every facet of this business, so why not release software that hoses the units while they're at it.

285  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Black Arrow 28nm 100Ghash Bitcoin ASIC from $0.49/GH/s on: November 08, 2014, 12:47:53 PM
Oh look, a different version of the story.  It's like watching an improv comedy routine....

blackarrow, on 08 Nov 2014 - 12:03 AM, said:

"Prospero software update: 1.14
All customers are asked to update immediately.
1. We have introduced many features to support our new managing software. Miner Operator, which can be downloaded from here, is a windows native application which adds support to easy manage all your miners from one single computer. This software is in development. Please report issues in our newly released bugtracker.
2. We have located and designed a protection system that is preventing X3 meltdowns. We want to highlight that this were few isolated incident (less than 0.3% of X3s). The issue reported by our customers was caused due to imperfect soldering of Mosfets which allowed them to overheat and finally fail. This failure sometimes resulted in shorting out the 12V line therefore introducing a resistance in the circuit. This resistance was causing the board to overheat and melting the PCI connector. The new update will continuously watch for any short circuit and will restart the PSU in order to check if there is a short circuit. Should there be a short circuit, the PSU will refuse to power up. If this happens, the customer will need to return us the faulty hashboard for replacement.
Note that this protection is working only with APlusPower PSUs that is included in our miners.

We have thoroughly investigated the faulty boards returned and we have determined that there was absolutely no fire cause by our miners and the fire reported by the customers was because they've seen the red LED from the control board blinking when the PCI connector was melting down, image that can be easily be confused with fire."

And of course no fire.  lying asshats to the end.  they thoroughly investigated.  the pci connector was melting down.   people are sending pics of burned out husks and it was the pci connector melting down which caused a blinking LED.  people can easily confuse a fire with a blinking LED.

the same thorough investigators thought it was the power supply, then it was the shippers and now it's a mosfet.  all of them caused the same problem, mind you, that caused the fire the first user reported seeing as "fire about the size of a coke can" and others have reported seeing flames as well.

I'm sure the same genius fire investigation team that claimed there was no fire, because there was no fire in the pictures, which was one of the more ridiculous stops on this this little joyride, would just up and now decide that maybe they were wrong.

so they investigated.  again.  and now, it never happened at all.  again.

bull-fucking-shit.
286  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Black Arrow 28nm 100Ghash Bitcoin ASIC from $0.49/GH/s on: November 08, 2014, 11:58:03 AM
The stench emanating from ecointalk is amazing. Sycophancy, desperation, and Stockholm syndrome. Jumbley is the prime source.

I don't get how people can still support this company's actions voluntarily.

It blows my mind reading some of that shit.   It has for months.  My timetable is about the same as yours.  When it became obvious they'd miss that May date I bailed and was promised a refund in May.  Nothing since then.  Don't even want them now.  They're useless and unsafe.

Jumbley particularly is either a shill or the most useful useful idiot in the history of useful idiots.  I don't think he's a shill, just possibly the most gullible person I have ever seen.

he's admitted to trying to paint them in a positive light.  what the motivation for that could possibly be I have absolutely no idea.

Those scammers at BA must laugh their nuts off at that guy.  I can see them discussing how to feed the next BS to people now that nobody believes a word they say.  "I've got it, let's call Jumbley!"  They pick up a red phone with only one button on it and whoever thinks they can keep from laughing out loud does the talking.

He seems like a really nice, decent guy.  He's had his head waaaaay up his ass on this one though....
287  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Black Arrow 28nm 100Ghash Bitcoin ASIC from $0.49/GH/s on: November 08, 2014, 12:50:37 AM
the latest story is that the piece of shit can't be shipped without getting physically damaged, which is obviously a physical design flaw, as if these people didn't realize they'd have to ship these things and other manufacturers are not managing to actually ship their products.

None of the 8 units I have were damaged in shipping.  just as an aside.  In fact based on the way the cards are held in place, it'd be kind of hard to damage.

I do have to wonder if they even know what the problem really is or if this is just another theory that is just a shot in the dark, as was their story that it was power supply last time around.
288  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Black Arrow 28nm 100Ghash Bitcoin ASIC from $0.49/GH/s on: November 08, 2014, 12:41:42 AM
in addition to all of that they are trying to develop a software fix.

the latest story is that the piece of shit can't be shipped without getting physically damaged, which is obviously a physical design flaw, as if these people didn't realize they'd have to ship these things and other manufacturers are not managing to actually ship their products.  It's obviously possible to design, build and ship miners unless these other manufacturers are having their products delivered by magical faerie people.

Their response to this problem?  It's the shippers fault, and they're working on the software.

before this it was the PSU, even though they were told by the first guy to report a fire that the PSU in the unit that went up in flames was fine.

these people truly are idiots.  I mean stupid, stupid.  Not just your garden variety stupid.  The brain stem works and absolutely nothing else kind of stupid.

289  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Black Arrow 28nm 100Ghash Bitcoin ASIC from $0.49/GH/s on: November 07, 2014, 11:41:20 PM
the fucking nitwits are now blaming the shippers.  From the unending source of utter bullshit delivered with a unique blend of haughtiness and idiocy, Nemesidis:

http://ecointalk.net/topic/1739-my-prospero-x3-stop-working-have-image/#entry21134

"The issue remains and it can be fixed only if package delivered safely, unfortunately due to harsh transportation conditions some of the hash boards get damaged, that can cause short and damage as seen above. We are working on software fix to prevent that kind of issues, the boards will not get this kind of damage and instead unit will shut-down until problematic boards is removed. Also we are trying to find a way to make it more safe during transportation, by adding 2 more screws to hold hash boards in place. We underestimated the powers of express services and some of the units came to customers with broken fans, so you can figure out how hard they toss the boxes if hash boards go off the place and break the fans. Also it's not recommended to run unit above 1100 Mhz.

For now possible way to clarify on which board has issue is to remove them all and put them 1 by 1, the board with issue will trigger protection from Power Supply and it won't start. This boards can be sent for replacement, so far it didn't take long to provide replacements. Please ship boards if you have ones that are not working to address stated on the website with ticket number as RMA, it should be clearly visible on the package. If there is also signs of damage on the back plane such as damaged PCI-E Slot, that board can also be sent for RMA.

Sarcasm noted and not appreciated, posts deleted."

So the bottom line is that this is not fixed, apparently never was, and they are still shipping these known and now acknowledged firebombs to people's homes.

What a bunch of total fucking bastards these people are.

the sarcasm wasn't appreciated?  guess what asshole, go fuck yourself you ignorant piece of shit.  People have lost thousands and are being shipped product which is not safe to plug into the fucking wall and turn on and you didn't appreciate the sarcasm.   Well, Nemesidis seeing as you don't appreciate sarcasm we'll take a more direct approach.

I'd like to stick a red hot poker straight up your fucking ass and out the top of your head right along with the rest of the Black Arrow team of total shitbags that have stolen money and are shipping something that is not in any way fit for purpose and is actually a danger for people to run in their homes, none of which any of you seems to give the first flying fuck about.  I'd love to see how you'd appreciate that, you fucking moron.
290  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Alpha Technology Litecoin (Scrypt) ASIC Miner Order Batch 1 Now! on: November 06, 2014, 06:37:56 PM
Have lodged a serious comprehensive claim against them accusing them of all sorts of things and now awaiting a court date. in the mean time i reported them to the UK Insolvency agency who are looking into it. If they take up the case then they will squash everyone associated with them, the Official Receiver can dissolve the company and go after all the current and former directors up to seven years previous, as i understand it.

If i get a judgment for Civil fraud i am going straight next door to the police station and filing a complaint for criminal fraud too. We are not getting any money out of these guys and the only way to deal with them now is as harshly as possible.I will chase this till the entire family pay up or are ruined as several have been directors. Because they have given a false address to companies house they will be struck off from being directors for a long time and that is fraud in its self. Their family accounts could be seized. Of course the next action is to check if they have filed proper VAT returns with Customs and Excise. They make MI5 look like pussy cats! Virtually unlimited powers of seizure entry and arrest.

You can name former directors etc as part of suit.  You paid X months ago, they were there then.

Likely that tangent goes nowhere, but if it were me I'd be applying pressure everywhere I could anyhow.   Last time I was involved in litigation I added the other guy's wife, kid, accountant, everyone.  He'd made the mistake of putting them on his payroll and adding them as officers of the company.  As soon as my lawyer found that out, they were named as defendants and served.  Subpeona someone's wife and kid for a deposition and charge them with criminal conspiracy to commit fraud and that gets their fucking attention PDQ.  Suddenly they get all infused with this sudden desire to find common ground.

In this case that's dear old dad and the brothers at least.

These assholes have been given every opportunity to deliver a product or refund people's money.  What happens to them after this is their fault.
291  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Black Arrow 28nm 100Ghash Bitcoin ASIC from $0.49/GH/s on: November 03, 2014, 06:19:21 PM
You people don't understand, it's your fault these still catch on fire, because all you mean customers are pushing them to actually ship.

yes, and then you plug them into the wall and turn them on and stuff.

clearly an unforeseeable use.
292  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Black Arrow 28nm 100Ghash Bitcoin ASIC from $0.49/GH/s on: November 03, 2014, 01:16:54 PM
So this latest unit to burst into flames didn't have the large green electrolytic capacitors and it was "CE" certified with the new PSU?

It seems so.  the guy said he got it on October 31.  That picture looks very much like the pics the first guy posted also.
293  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Alpha Technology Litecoin (Scrypt) ASIC Miner Order Batch 1 Now! on: November 03, 2014, 12:55:27 PM
Where have they gone interesting ... all fled? Sad On November 3 and not any news.

I returned 30% although I did not ask and did not give their consent. and 70% do not know what will.

they sent you money without you asking for it or agreeing to it?
294  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Black Arrow 28nm 100Ghash Bitcoin ASIC from $0.49/GH/s on: November 01, 2014, 02:53:46 PM
My definition of a scam company is one that takes money from customers by deceiving them then, fails to provide anything of value in return.

Black Arrow's own contradictory words proves they are liars and covers the deception angle. I've received nothing of value in return for the money I paid almost a year ago, so there you go.

We have a proven scam company actively soliciting a million dollars+ from potential investors for vapour-ware miners made from Samsung wont give you 14nm in a month from now you fucking clowns ASICs.

Not to mention violating every consumer protection law in the book, mail fraud and tax evasion on the $90,000 in coins they mined.

To any potential investor I can guarantee they're going to be so in your face with the tens if not more millions of dollars they'll make off your investment while giving absolutely nothing in return for your cool mil. In-fact I wouldn't be surprised if they've even figured out a way to leave you with a bill to pay when all is said and done, you know just for that little extra bit of spite.

well, they sold these based on promises that they are not keeping.

they are violating consumer laws all over the world.

fraud?  as far as I'm concerned no doubt about it.  a company run by a known credit card fraudster that has done nothing but change his game to a new kind of scam as far as I'm concerned.

anyone that sends these people a dime at this point needs a CT scan.

they failed technically with miners that start on fire, they failed logistically by being unable to develop this or ship this in any sort of reasonable timeframe and they have failed financially, by squandering their customers' money,  they have failed miserably in terms of customer service/relations.

To me it seems that they have failed in every aspect of this project and this business.

anyone would be better of plunking that money down on the craps table than investing with a  company with a performance record like this.
295  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Alpha Technology Litecoin (Scrypt) ASIC Miner Order Batch 1 Now! on: October 30, 2014, 07:40:05 PM
Take a look through the past pages of this thread, there's links to a forum (fightalpha) which contain great info and people who have made claims far beyond the time limits.

yes, quote those case numbers and call PayPal back.  others were refunded well after this supposed time window, therefore you also have the right to a refund.
296  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Alpha Technology Litecoin (Scrypt) ASIC Miner Order Batch 1 Now! on: October 29, 2014, 05:49:32 PM
Another promise broken. They were going to provide an update 'early this week'. We've passed the midway point.

Multialgo ASIC units are taping out right now, and as someone mentioned, the L1 from Antminer is hitting shelves in December. 120MH @ 300ish watts at the wall, less than $600 shipped worldwide.

Much like the Black Arrow folks, I really feel for you guys.

they haven't kept a promise yet.  much like those pricks at Black Arrow their lips move and bullshit falls out.  I'm not surprised there are more delays.   anyone that thought they'd get the chips and start shipping immediately was kidding themselves, I think.

difference here relative to Black Arrow is that people can more easily get their money back.

why anyone would not try at this point to recoup their cash, I've got no idea.  As soon as they got quiet I started asking for my money back.  I've seen this game too many time not to know what that means.  The day after they missed their delivery date I was on the phone with my CC company getting that moving.

That chargeback process takes time by the way, it's not a phone call and bang, your money is back.  They've got a process that can span several weeks so if people want their money back they need to get on it.

they're quiet again, by the way.  something else has crapped on itself here I have no doubt.

these are DOA at this point.  as others have pointed out, Bitmain is about to eat their ass in the same way they chewed Black Arrow's balls clean off.

file your claims and GTFO while they're not officially bankrupt.  When that happens that gate slams shut and you're out of time.
297  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Black Arrow 28nm 100Ghash Bitcoin ASIC from $0.49/GH/s on: October 28, 2014, 10:35:20 PM
Bottom line what they sold people was their money's worth in terms of hashpower at time of shipment.  That's what their price matching promise was.  Right now 5-6K gets you a helluva lot more than 2Th.  More like 8-10Th/s, including power supplies, from Bitmain.

that's not what they're shipping and not even close.

what a bunch of lying asshole scammers. I don't give a shit what they ship at this point and certainly not what they develop in the future, as if these idiots have a better shot at 14nm than other companies that actually have people onboard that know what the fuck they're doing.

Anyone that is considering investing with these lying thieves should review what's happened here, and take their money elsewhere.  If they'll fuck us, they'll fuck you too.

I will haunt every site, every fucking news release between now and the end of time to call out these cocksuckers for what they've done here.
298  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Alpha Technology Litecoin (Scrypt) ASIC Miner Order Batch 1 Now! on: October 27, 2014, 03:20:33 PM
Another delay, lawsuits have bankrupted them, not enough people have paid in full, faulty equipment ... wonder what the response will be this time.

But they said they'd get the chips and send them on out!

I can't believe that is untrue!

folks should write letters to Santa, as Christmas is looking to be an aggressive delivery estimate at this point.

Dear Santa,

Please bring me a scrypt miner.
as I was a good boy and there was no finer

Mubasher is a fuckin crook
everyone's money is what the bastard took

the miners are late, there can be no debate
that when it comes to companies this one I hate

they may come one day or they may come never
this jerkoff has fucked this little endeavor

Please save me Santa.  Without your help I will not ROI
I promise to leave out some milk and slice of fresh pie.

I will leave for the reindeer a fresh keg of beer

Called paypal said I needed to talk to Chase first, damn ACE debit.  Seems like I'm screwed here.

see the site fightalpha.net

they've posted PayPal case #'s from people that have gotten refunds.

cite them with the obvious logic is that if they got refunds, you have a right to one also.

it's been said before, but keep working on PayPal.  Go through the last several pages of this thread for specific methodologies, but don't throw in the towel just yet.  people have had to go at them a few times in some cases to make any progress.  they'd rather not refund you, as it costs them money, but keep at it.

"Units don't really blow up, i am more than sure it was the PSU, please send it back for replacement, we are trying to get shipping fees out of PSU factory, but as you understand they retaliate. It's very hard to get money back for anything, once you paid in China. Before you do, they will feed you for free shake your hand and act like you are a king, afterwards, after you paid no one will care much. Unfortunately we are not PSU factory and cannot replace those by ourself."

The pricks deleted posts in response to that and locked the thread.  typical, although not in that he was seemingly admitting they are shitting on people, before shitting on them again, censoring their replies and locking the conversation.

This is the deleted post from user "Shitaki", my window was still open from last night.

no, but that is my experience with Chinese companies.  the last time I had a screw up like this I ordered something for my business from a Chinese manufacturer.  a technical industrial device costing tens of thousands of dollars.

they built the wrong damn product and shipped that to me, then refused to take it back and fix it because it would cost them money.  I had to sue those pricks to get my equipment fixed.

I've done business all over the world and never had the lousy experiences I have had with companies based out of China.  This lack of ethics seems almost the norm there and is seemingly accepted.  It isn't anywhere else that I've done business.  I'm not saying people don't try to pull this stuff, but they don't actually think they'll get away with it and when presented with solid facts they will reverse course and do what they have to do if for no other reason than not having to go to court.  They won't act if they are just misunderstood, or somehow in the right while they are screwing you either.  They'll give the speeches and act as if they're doing you a favor, but they'll set it straight.  The level of BS I've seen from Chinese companies absolutely takes the cake.

it's dishonest.  I don't care anyone wants to simply write it off as 'that's just the way it is'.  Any company that acts in this fashion is nothing more than a bunch of liars and thieves.

yep.  what I took from that thread is 'yeah, we lied to you to get your money, but everyone does it'

not that I didn't know it all along.
