Just like money doesn't necessarily buy you happiness that same is true when it comes to one's health. Money cannot guarantee you your health. All money can do is buy you time. The more money you have the more time can you free up to spend on pursuing the things that are most important to you. If you can free up enough time to pursue a healthy lifestyle you can stack the deck in your favour.
22  Other / Off-topic / Re: How much would you pay for immortality? on: November 15, 2018, 02:34:24 AM
That is one tough little question. What price for immortality... I guess as far as I'm concerned immortality is worthless if you can't share it with the ones you love and if you are unhealthy. Who would want to live in constant pain forever and ever, and, how emotionally burdensome would life be if you constantly outlived all the people you ever cared for? If on the other hand you had both your health and all the people you loved were also immortal then immortality would be priceless.
23  Other / Off-topic / Re: Microchipping Humans on: November 14, 2018, 03:26:15 AM
Under no circumstance would I want to be microchipped. I value my privacy too much to want to be monitored by anybody else. Regardless what some may say about not being afraid of being chipped if you have nothing to hide, it's nobody's business to know if I'm in the bathroom or asleep in my bedroom...nobody's business. As to your question on whether there will come a time when we will all be microchipped, if people don't wake up to what those in power are planning behind closed doors we will succumb to their wishes and accept to be chipped.
24  Other / Off-topic / Re: what do you think about electric cars? on: November 13, 2018, 12:12:40 AM
Having driven a hybrid vehicle for the past couple of years I will admit that I have a preference for this kind of solution. There's no doubt that some of the electric vehicles perform well. However, I don't like the range anxiety that will surely accompany the owners of these type of vehicles. Also, I hate the myth that these vehicles are being touted as the environmentally friendly choice. HAs anyone looked into the environmental impact of extracting lithium? Doesn't look very good for the environment to me...

For the longest amount of time I used to love watching science-fiction films. They allowed me to lose myself in a futuristic landscape. I spent hours trying to imagine what the future might hold for us. Nowadays I search out comedies. Nothing like a good laugh to help you forget some of your daily troubles.

I might offend some people with my choice for worst movie I've ever watched, but, you can't please all of the people all of the time. Besides, at the end of the day, beauty is in the eye of the beholder. My pick for worst movie I've ever watched would have to be Han Solo. Maybe it was the built up anticipation... maybe the Social Justice Warrior PC garbage that was sprinkled throughout the movie... one thing was certain for me...instead of an uplifting fun day at the movies watching a character I loved...I left feeling kind of of blah.

I don't begrudge anyone who smokes weed. I on the other hand don't. I like having a clear mind not clouded or influenced by any drugs. I love to drive. I put many miles on a weekly basis. The slightest delay in reacting to what the road throws your way could be the death of you or some innocent who doesn't deserve to be a victim of anyone's weed habits.
28  Other / Off-topic / Re: When you are stressed, what do you do to relax ? on: October 26, 2018, 02:54:10 AM
For me, the best way to relax would be to turn on the stereo system and put on a cd with some great music. Some people have known to say that music can soothe the wildest of beasts. I believe that's true. Music has gotten me through many a rough day... Try it

sorry to be the amongst those who pointed out that the chances of growing taller bare pretty much zero. Hit the weight room and you can improve your muscle mass instead.

Wow!!! I never thought it would be so hard to narrow thigs down to one song and one singer/act. At this moment in time I would have to say my favorite song is Firewoman by The Cult and my favorite artist would be Def Leppard, they really rocked.
31  Other / Off-topic / Re: Do you consider age before marrying? on: October 18, 2018, 12:41:08 AM
I would never mary someone who was much older than me. The bigger the age difference you may have with your significant other, the more likely you are to have disagreements with your partner. As a person ages their needs and expectations does as well. You really have to be in the same frame of mind to able to overcome a big age difference, If you actually make it through these differences the physical limitations that will arrive with the passage of time will probably get you. It's rare to see it working over the long term.
32  Other / Off-topic / Re: I always feel tired on: October 16, 2018, 02:41:56 AM
You should check to see if you are suffering from sleep apnea. It is a condition that can produce the kind of symptoms you describe. Sleep apnea sufferers stop breathing for a few seconds while they sleep. During the night their breathing stops many times. You can't get a deep enough or long enough night's rest to feel rested. You will constantly feel tired all day long. You should talk to your doctor about this. The doc can recommend a specialist to determine whether you suffer from this or not. Best of luck to you
