1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Looked back - lost! on: March 18, 2019, 09:36:24 PM
You cannot always win or come out on top, when trading in cryptocurrency you must also prepare for loss, how to handle them is essential in deciding how far you'll come.
You cannot simply exit or give up because you lost at some point or because you're but getting the sort of profit you desire.
2  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Holding multiple altcoins on: March 18, 2019, 09:32:50 PM
Having most of your portfolio in one wallet is cool, so I prefer holding them in nano or coinomi wallet if I don't want to keep them on exchanges.
Keeping them on exchanges shouldn't even be an option for you, you have to be on the safer side, exchange hack can occur at any time.
One wallet is what I also use, trezor wallet, easy to use and keeps me safe
3  Economy / Economics / Re: Cashless Economy: Is Society ready for transformation? on: March 18, 2019, 09:28:24 PM
India is in first place in the cashless economy in implementing most of the payment solution in the form of digital payments and encouraging public and merchants to turn to cashless
This will help in transforming and developing the country as well as the propagation of virtual payments systems(cashless society)
More and more developed countries are switching gear to cashless economy, the more this happens, the more it favors cryptocurrency
4  Economy / Economics / Re: the future real money on: March 18, 2019, 09:23:58 PM
Presently, crypto mode of payment is at a survival stage although some parties are already making use of it and for it to become more globally accepted, more development needs to be done at this stage. I'm optimistic about the fact that cryptocurrencies will be used as a mode of payment frequently by everyone in future.
This is what we all wish, but if we look at the speed at which adoption is taking place we'll understand that we are still far away from achieving this.
We must change our parochial mindset to the purpose of the bitcoin creation, once that is done,we can talk about a future with crypto filled methods of payment
5  Economy / Economics / Re: DYOR before joining!!!!!!!!!!!!!! on: March 18, 2019, 09:03:24 PM
I'll say get educated and garner knowledge on the network before joining, don't just come in at any time and start complaining and blaming bitcoin because you believe it should make you rich instantly.
You need to understand the cycle, know how it turns, invest and likewise get out at the right time
6  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Never give up on: March 18, 2019, 05:42:34 PM
So may have lost their systems, hard drives etc and lost their coins for good, so you're one of the lucky ones, losing all those information will be tantamount to losing quite a whole lot of money, even though a the initial stage it was worth nothing, but it's pay for being their from the beginning and working on the network.
7  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Virtual money is really the future of the world in the 4.0 era on: March 18, 2019, 05:33:03 PM
Virtual money is the new order in this era of technological domination, it's used in carrying out transactions in many parts of the world.
Virtual money is definitely the future, but it will continue to be used alongside paper money, It cannot take out paper money
8  Economy / Economics / Re: The Blockchain technologies on: March 18, 2019, 05:27:34 PM
Blockchain in the political sphere will be a major plus to democracy and fairness, especially in 3rd world countries were their givwenis so corrupt, this will help to curb electoral malpractices and embezzlement of funds, since everything will be stored on the blockchain's database
9  Bitcoin / Hardware wallets / Re: Lost Ledger Nano PIN and REcovery phrase. Kindly advise how to access coins back on: March 18, 2019, 05:24:09 PM
Does it mean i lost all my coins?
Sadly that's what it means, you ought to have written or stored this sort of vital information somewhere, take time to think if you did.
And also before you used up all your three attempts, you should have been at least 50 percent sure they were correct, you just had to be more careful with this kinda information
10  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Soulja Boy invests in bitcoin on: March 17, 2019, 07:35:14 PM
Big celebs and stars are involved in crypto, SB is one of them and I actually find his songs attractive, his involvement in cryptocurrency will give it more boost and more adoption possibilities.
11  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Related Crimes Surge on: March 17, 2019, 07:30:14 PM
This is why I have opened up a poll asking about cryptocurrency banks.
We do not need banks, this is a decentralized system, any on such introduction will make it less of it. In this system, your wallet acts as your bank and it's in your total control, there are different kinds of wallets with varying levels of safety.
For utmost safety just get a hardware wallet and that's that, you are sure of your safety with it
12  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What do you think should I buy for 1 year? on: March 17, 2019, 07:22:08 PM
If you'll be putting that large amount into cryptocurrency, then I can only advice you do so investing in the bitcoin, it affords you a lot of safety and you can be rest assured that it'll grow in the future.
But you should also know that you ought to do your own research, but the best investment strategy with a large amount of money has to be in the bitcoin
13  Economy / Economics / Re: If you want to be rich..! on: March 14, 2019, 02:26:05 PM
Even if you choose to go into different means or sources of income, you'll still need capital and to gain that you'll have to work, it doesn't matter how long you work as long as you are not under paid or under employed.
So cryptocurrency investment/bounty hunting is a good source of income but real jobs are also invaluable and always needed, you need to put all your eggs in different baskets
14  Economy / Economics / Re: Tell us about your experience on: March 14, 2019, 01:57:42 PM
If not for the time I joined (2017) I wouldn't have been able to have any good comment about cryptocurrency. In fact, I would have been discouraged and probably quited. I enjoyed bitcoin at the tail end of 2017 the little token i got at bounty, I sold few at a favourable value and enjoyed it. Now, I'm so bored that I can't wait to have the bearing over.
Your situation is kinda similar to mine, I was lucky to make quite a large sum at the initial stage, I actually Invested in the bitcoin and got quite a good return, but later on I went into bounty hunting, but by then the market was and is still down, I have still managed to work for some good projects that afforded me good returns.
But it's not so easy for the very new comers, they need a lot of encouragement to remain, though they should
15  Economy / Economics / Re: Do you think Institutions secretly HODL Bitcoin? on: March 14, 2019, 01:23:09 PM
If course institutions and even top government officials are acquiring bitcoins, there are no restrictions against doing that, neither is there any compulsory law that it must be made public.
Most individuals choose to stay low-key and anonymous, I think there are many celebrities into this network, but because if fame, they stay under the radar.
16  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: HOW DO WE INCREASE THE VALUE OF CRYPTOCURRENCIES? on: March 11, 2019, 12:17:43 PM
We can only increase the value of a cryptocurrency that actually has a worth, a use case or some potential in the blockchain technology.

There are plenty coins with no real value, no real potential, no real use case, just a white elephant project hoping to succeed in ways I do not know how.

By advertising for promising projects, and investing in such projects, we can increase their value and popularity, hence attracting more investors.
17  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin and Brexit on: March 11, 2019, 12:13:00 PM
Brexit should not have any influence on the bitcoin price, I do not see any correlation or relationship between Brexit and the bitcoin.
Bitcoins price could rise or fall that day, as it did previously, but I doubt if any of that would be because of the decision.
We are fond of attributing big events to the price of the bitcoin even if they have no relationship between them
18  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Kid should start earning bitcoin as young as kindlegarden on: March 11, 2019, 12:08:45 PM
Definitely every child deserves the right to go to school, and indeed should be sent to school, saying school should be stopped in place of cryptocurrency education is foolish, there are many aspects of education, where one learns to read and write, to speak, to develop knowledge etc. You cannot take all that away for trying to teach them to earn
Cryotocurrency education can be introduced as an extra course or an additional one, then it'll make more sense
19  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin number of transactions all time high?? BEAR MARKET IS GONE! on: March 11, 2019, 12:04:19 PM
We could have high/low/average transaction numbers, it has nothing to do with we getting away from the bearish market.
Numerous transactions can mean a lot, even negatively, it could be dumpings happening which will further reduce the price.
We want high level of transactions, but it's no determining factor to end the bear market
20  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: will Bitcoin clock 4k today. on: March 11, 2019, 09:29:13 AM
Even if it does hit 4000 which I doubt it will, it doesn't entail any positives at all, it has in the last 18 months or so at one point or the other reached 4k and fell right back.
If it crosses the 3900 mark, it is not going to be a sign of a bull run or the end of the bearish market, so it really has no significance
