Thanks sadpanda, glad you got it ok.  Most of my 5830s are gone, but I still have PSUs, Motherboard / CPU combos, and 6990s
6  Economy / Goods / Re: [WTS] Video cards, PCIe Extender cables, Power supplies, iBoots on: December 02, 2011, 03:17:15 PM
what are the psu's

They vary, all are at least 850w 80+ gold rating and modular.  I have two taken out of computers so far:

Raidmax RX-850AE
Thermaltake TR2 RX 850W (P/N: W0319RU)

I'm getting rid of everything I own bitcoin related, here is a listing.  If you are interested, let me know.  I'll edit this post as things sell.  I'll accept BTC instead of USD.  I will pay for priority shipping in the US.  A lot of it is going up on ebay as well:

17 5830s - $120
2 Asus 5850 - $140
1 XFX 6870 - $150
4 6990s - $600
4 PCIe 16x->16x extender cable: $35 for all
4 PCI 1x (male) ->16x (female) extender cable: $35 for all
8 iBoot remote power switch: $80
8 850w PSU: $60

Motherboard / CPU + fan combos: $75 (PM me for details if interested)

In case you are not familiar with the iBoots, they ping your miner and if it ever stops responding it cycles the power.  No more waking up only to find out your miners weren't going all night.

Edit: Fixed a price
8  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Several 6990s for sale - 200 BTC each on: December 01, 2011, 09:39:37 PM
The 5830s were an after thought, if you are interested send me a message.  Any serious offers will be considered of course.
9  Economy / Marketplace / Several 6990s for sale - 200 BTC each on: December 01, 2011, 05:21:07 PM
I have several 6990s I am about to sell.  Before I put them up on EBay, I wanted to check with my fellow forum members.  I have 4 of them, and they all work great.  I was mining with all of them before the price drop, and they were never overclocked.

Edit: I'm also covering priority shipping with them, so no extra costs

Edit, Edit: I also have a bunch of 5830s I'll sell for 40 BTC ea.

Edit, Edit, Edit: I just noticed, I did in fact have the wrong price for the 5830s.  the 4 and 5 are way to close to each other
10  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can MtGox sell my BTC stored in MtGox and then buy it back later ? on: October 18, 2011, 03:19:52 PM
Of course they can, just like any bank.  How do you think Bank of America pays all those mortgages?  Rarely do banks pay interest, unless you promise to store your money there long term.
11  Economy / Speculation / Re: What happened!? 16$ and back down to 5$ on: September 11, 2011, 03:16:53 PM
There are 2500 btc at 7.20 at mtgox.  There is no reason why it should have jumped to $16.  I have a feeling something is happening to gox again
12  Economy / Speculation / Re: What happened!? 16$ and back down to 5$ on: September 11, 2011, 03:12:11 PM
I was just wondering the same thing, something is fishy, no one could possibly be buying enough to rationalize that

14  Bitcoin / Mining software (miners) / Re: bitHopper: Python Pool Hopper Proxy on: August 09, 2011, 11:32:19 PM
Jesus christ, this thread is a forum in itself.  If only there were some forums only for hoppers.  Like some kind of virtual den that hoppers could hang out and talk about all this in an organized fashion.
15  Bitcoin / Mining software (miners) / Re: bitHopper: Python Pool Hopper Proxy on: August 09, 2011, 06:17:41 PM
I just updated this morning, and now when a pool lags out, the slice goes empty, and it doesn't mine anymore until I mark something info and then back

bad news for me - I think to have to leave bithopper  Sad
as I come today to my PC I see that no Internet connection is for a few hours... Angry
I believe that the network traffik is to big for me (I have 20 GB/month) and in 8 days this volume is over (I have done not much another in net - therfore it must have been the traffik of bithopper...)
Is there any way to make it less traffic?
(I'm now with another acount here because volume for this month is over...)
TIA

It sucks I know, have an unlimited plan here, not sure if it generates that much but it's surely allot, this is made by design because it manages allot of information from all the pools you mine, I would recommend you having 2-3 pools on mine or info until you can search for a better internet plan

I doubt your issue is bitHopper.  I am looking at my usage graphs here, and I have around 550 mb  per day going out and 250 per day coming in.  Granted, that would put you over the 20 GB / month, but not in 8 days

So, I just leaned about re_rate...  What api_method does btcguild need since they use json?

Haven't got one share on deepbit yet Cheesy

I got my 200 or so shares in so far Tongue make sure you use --startlp I think it is arg when running bithopper.

i'm running it since about 10 hours with --startLP and not a single share.

+1 still nothing for me

Edit: apparently bitHopper is watching my internet usage, I just switched over and I am currently mining deepbit

They're fucking with us.  Their last block was discovered at 2:26 GMT and it changed around 9:30 GMT, 6 hours later.  And, it changed after a period of downtime.  I still have them on info, don't trust them.

Well not sure how the digbit admin correlates chrome with attackers but here is hes explaination for chrome user-agent not working:

Code:
Yes, it only limit chrome Chrome/13.0.782.109, because attack are using this.

Easy, he is associating chrome with the attackers because we are the attackers.  The stat check system in bh is being mistaken as DDOS attacks by many of the pools.  BitMinerUnion moved over today because of DDOS attacks, and I'm sure it was us
