Buy, use the referral links in my sig to do so  Wink

You do realize how small 10% of transaction fees are? Probably not enough to troll the forum.

Look for data recovery software. Also, I'm sure everyone wants to know how much you lost.

You will be able to assign variables. Once I do it I'll explain. But for now we need to get more people involved.
11  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Any experience with Mybitcoin.com on: June 30, 2011, 02:58:57 AM
They seem pretty sketchy to me. I had an account on there and then all the sudden I couldn't access it and there is no way to get in touch with them. Luckily, I didn't have any money in the account. It was just a tester.
12  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The richest users on the bitcoin forum on: June 30, 2011, 01:39:39 AM
Really? I thought dozens of people on these forums had 1000s of BTC...Someone please clarify.

Day to day and savings wallets that are not listed here. The people at the top of that list are the people that need savings wallets.

In the actual bitcoinlinks.js file I can assign categories and us if statements to determine what shows up.
14  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Link Exchange on: June 29, 2011, 04:58:29 AM
To do:
Have a way to limit the number of links that show up. (based on webmaster's input)
Make the links show up in random order due to that fact.
[/quote]

That is one I have been thinking about and plan to implement in the very near future. As far as the random order, I didn't think of that but I like it very much. I will also be looking into categorizing everything so people can choose what categories they want to display or they can display multiple categories.

I was also considering paying bitcoin related websites a small fee to post it on their site. But I would have to figure out a revenue stream for that based on their traffic. I am pretty new to java script but I know a few other languages so it's not a horrible transition.

That is a great suggestion! Please keep them coming.

It will on most but some might need some customization. Feel free to download the CSS pack and make it your own. I will be adding more features later. If anyone has any ideas on what they would like to see implemented, let me know.
16  Economy / Goods / Re: [WTS] 5850 cards x2 on: June 29, 2011, 01:13:30 AM
Not like I put any "miles" on them lol. Look brand new, never abused, original packaging and parts. What's the difference when you wanna mine?

Buyers market - your behind the curve. Let me know when they hit $300 for the pair.
17  Economy / Goods / Re: Selling Prebuilt Bitcoin Mining Rigs With 1 Year Hardware Warranty on: June 29, 2011, 01:12:15 AM
I will gladly reconsider the prices.  They are much less than all other sellers that I could find and I need to cover myself since I am warranting these for 1 year.  What do you think would be a fair price?  Please keep in mind that I do need to make a little for all my efforts :-)

On the economy, keep the price the same and include a 2nd 5770 - You have to think about their payback for all of this and at 200 Mhash they will never come close. Granted they aren't investing properly and will have a hard time at 400 but it is possible over the course of a few months depending on price and difficulty.

On the standard I would say drop the 6970 and go with 2 6870s. It will only cost you about $80 more and you are charging $300 more then the basic with a $200 price upgrade. Your margins are still there but you can boast another 200 Mhash per second bringing it to 600 and keeping it profitable for yourself.

As far as the elite rig goes, most miners don't want or need that kind of gear for a mining operation. I'm sure they would rather have less expensive equipment and run more rigs then to invest around $3500 to make that rig worth it. And I'm assuming the motherboard you have in that can even support 3 cards. I wouldn't bother selling that without at least 2 cards in there. Add the second for no profit and sell it like that. And the case better damn sure be ready for the heat or it will really get you in the end.

As for the warranty, you would just be turning them into the manufacturer and using that warranty anyway. If they decide to overclock the cards they void it anyway. Way of the mining world.

Until there are 5830's back on the market, it will be tough to make it worth your while. I'm sure newegg will be having a refurbished 5830 extravaganza in the near future so be ready to buy them up.  Good Luck.

So I looked at your blog. Pretty damn clever. I like your style. Off topic but this may be a failed thread anyway.

Oh I know this. But after the scammer talks it invites the people who have been ripped off by said scammer. And then we get truth. AND JUSTICE!

Those prices are outrageous. Try and to make less per order and not gouge so much per person.
