81  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Asking About Riobet Casino on: January 01, 2021, 01:31:40 PM
Looks Like None of members Here are formally using this Casino ?

But it's Obvious that Riobet did not Find this forum as best way to advertise their Site so After the attempt on Luring players 5 years ago ,and find nothing good respond ,they Find other place and leave the forum.

So Why are we still talking this site when they don't even Open for New users ? and the Offer of free spins ends years ago ,this must not be our Main objective now in using that Site.
Riobet was established in 2014, and that was quite a long years but most of us probably have not heard about this because they don't promote their casino here in the forum. They probably did not promote their site here because since fiat currencies are mostly supported in their site, and they only have Bitcoin in crypto.

Also, op just asked for an opinion if we can trust Riobet cause maybe there's someone who tried playing in this casino. And I think they still offer free spins when I visit their site.
82  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: TOP 5 James Bond gambling scenes on: January 01, 2021, 12:21:07 PM
James Bond movies introduced the most advanced technology to this world I mean people because from that movie alone a lot of people find such kind of technology is available in the world. And some technologies created just for the purpose of that movie to bring that action more exciting. But its is action-based movies so we can't expect much for gambling-related person there but its good movies to entertain people of all ages.
Is this true? can't find those advanced techs right now in james bond movies, it seems that the prod are just futuristic and made those without any idea if it'll exist in the future.

Found an article with the help of google : 5 James Bond Movie Gadgets That Became Everyday Realities

The first one in the list is GPS which was shown in the movies before it became reality to the common places.
I have looked at the article you gave, and it's really fascinating how some of the gadgets shown in his movies really came to reality with today's great advancement. Aside from great fighting scenes and some gambling scenes, no wonder why James Bond's movies are loved by a lot of people.

Btw, thank you for sharing this article, I was so intrigued about those futuristic gadgets used in his movies that I read this article.
83  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: No 2FA and robbed of 0.097BTC on: January 01, 2021, 11:27:41 AM
What a bad experience, I'm sorry for your loss op. I hope you will get a good response and action from their support team about this matter. But as always said whenever we encounter similar stories like this, it's a lesson to us to enable 2FA in the future. It's a way to secure our account since we are all aware of how rampant scammers are.

At least, I want to thank you for sharing your story because it will make us more careful to avoid experiencing the same thing.
84  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Experience As A Bounty Hunter on: January 01, 2021, 10:39:13 AM

I really like being a bounty hunter, even though sometimes I help to promote projects that in the end don't pay off to me.
Sadly, in certain cases, the contribution of the bounty hunters to the development and progress of a project are unappreciated. With the different tasks to accomplish just to impressively promote it, they deserved good pay. However, some of them are not treated fairly.

but I kept on going on and on to keep up with projects that would eventually bring me income.
Just keep on striving, it will eventually pay off. By your determination, you can clearly achieve it. Unpleasant experiences will happen along the way, so prepare yourself. Also, be wise in selecting a project, check the announcement thread, and evaluate the project. In that manner, you can familiarize yourself with the project and see if there’s any red flag.
85  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Deserving A Gift From Elders And Older. on: December 31, 2020, 03:57:26 PM
Reflect on your actions and be persistent. By doing so, you will clearly define its potential outcomes and understand the errors. As you reflect, you will realize the precise approach you could have used to address it. For being persistent, you will develop your skills as you continue striving for your objectives even in a tough situation. It can be related to our life and our cryptocurrency investment. For instance, we made mistakes in buying a valueless coin, we should contemplate from that experience and learn we should have assessed it first. In that manner, we can avoid making a compulsive decision with our investment.
86  Economy / Economics / Re: New Year | New Resolutions - How you gonna manage your finances - 2021 ? on: December 31, 2020, 02:45:47 PM
My focus is to save money for future expenses since I don't have a stable job and I'm only relying on here in crypto. Since I don't have much bitcoin with me, I will continue to hold them and I also plan to save more altcoins for the altcoin seasons.

Since we are mostly affected by the pandemic that will surely be lasting until next year, I need to handle my budget well and lessen my expenses.
87  Economy / Economics / Re: NFL Player Salary Paid in Bitcoin on: December 31, 2020, 01:05:21 PM
It seems that he's interested in bitcoin and good for him to get his wish of getting paid in bitcoin. If it was me, I would also want to receive my salary in bitcoin. As long as you know how the market works, it's fine getting paid in bitcoin. Also, I find it nice that he's open towards his want for Bitcoin in his social media accounts and it's good because it can gain the attention of the public as well.
88  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Too many project SCAMS - PLEASE CAREFUL on: December 31, 2020, 12:19:34 PM
Various scams are already apparent for the past years and we cannot stop them. That's why it's also a part of getting into crypto space is to know how to avoid and keep yourself safe from scammers. Since the adoption is continuously growing, more scammers will use it to delude beginners. Remember to always be careful with projects you are choosing and to always do prior research.

90  Economy / Economics / Re: All people in the real world still think everything is fine !!! on: December 30, 2020, 04:56:18 PM
You cannot please everyone to believe the things you say because they also have their own beliefs and perspective. Especially in this kind of topic like bitcoin because they need to understand first before believing. I don't know to whom you are telling those things, are they your family and friends? Because if it's just random people, then it will be really hard to convince them. But instead of getting angry or pissed at people that don't believe you, maybe you can just focus on those people who are interested and willing to listen to you.
91  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What we do that leads us to be hacked or scam on: December 30, 2020, 04:07:19 PM
As we engage with crypto activities, we are likely to encounter those types of scams. Some of us even receive an unsolicited email containing a file attachment with malware, fraudulent investment and giveaways, and a phishing link. Thus, we should practice using a separate account to reduce the chance of victimization. It is an essential approach to secure your personal data. In these times where there are prevalent scam incidents, circumspection is much-needed as it happens in different forms.
92  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Had you sold your Bitcoins ? on: December 30, 2020, 03:14:30 PM
I already sold some of it since I needed it for my necessities and since it's the holiday season but I keep holding my coins. I only sold what I needed and I have no plans of selling all of it so I will continue to hold. I understand if you are afraid of taking a risk when the opportunity is already here, and since it's your bitcoin, after all, it's your choice. But we're also not sure if bitcoin would go down to $6000 this year, so will you still buy if it did not reach your expected price?
93  Economy / Economics / Re: Second lockdown due to covid19 is painful on: December 30, 2020, 02:24:11 PM
A second lockdown might still happen since there's a threat of a new strain of the virus that is more contagious. Although we heard the news that there are already vaccines available, we still need to be careful since the distribution of the vaccine is not as fast as how the virus spreads. To avoid another lockdown, people should keep following the strict protocol and refrain from going too much outside for unnecessary occasions, it's the best we can do.
94  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Defi Change the People Prospective? on: December 29, 2020, 04:34:08 PM
I think DeFi has failed. Many people won't even know about DeFi.  Undecided
Honestly, I concur as people invest in a Defi project with a lack of understanding by its conception.

They made a very ambitious introduction but could not meet the expectations.
As with other different projects, some of them are claiming to be surpassing the higher rank and reputable cryptocurrency in the market. They are full of white lies to propagate with their investors, as in the end, they vanished after stealing the hard-earned money of investors. Thus, we should be wart as some have an obvious sign of failure that's why we need to be careful.

I followed it at the beginning, but I no longer believe in DeFi's future
With the list of scams and hacks recently engaged with Defi, I can’t blame anyone with such an outlook as I even can’t imagine its future. However, we can’t just generalize it, and I think there are still good projects existing. We just need to be aware that any project can be a potential scam, so we should be vigilant.
95  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: prediction betting platform pros and cons? on: December 29, 2020, 03:38:38 PM
We can generate a profit in both gambling prediction and trading prediction and i do agree that it is much better to place a bet in gambling while supporting your bets with your inner guts and gambling predictions because it has a lot of areas and you can specifically focus on what areas you wanted to trust your bet on it. Both are beneficial but i bet both has their own level or risks but as a gambler i would rather choose to make a gambling prediction than make a trading prediction, its just it isn't my kind of thingy i guess.
Well, we are most likely to chose if those are the options. Trading prediction is not my interest because one of the most difficult predictions that would take place especially in crypto space is crypto trading. This is why more news popping out that one had made loses in trading. Betting predictions are more exciting and reliable due to the fact that we can bet depending on our own interest and at the same time the advantage and risk calculations is in our hands.

Indeed, prediction in gambling has more advantages because you can choose from different fields where you have an interest and confidence that you can predict the result. Aside from that, since it's our personal interest we get more excitement watching and waiting for the result. While in trading, it's obviously much more complicated and hard to predict unless you are really knowledgeable about the market, that's why I also prefer gambling prediction.
96  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: want to invest .. on: December 29, 2020, 02:37:23 PM
First, is to ensure that you can afford to lose that capital of yours before making any investment. Then you can start doing your own research on coins you think has potential and will bring you enough profit. If you already have a bit of knowledge and experience in investing, you may probably have some idea of altcoins that are good to invest in. I personally suggest Bitcoin, Ethereum, and Binance coin, but it's up to you to choose.
97  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How much btc do you need to secure your future? on: December 29, 2020, 01:41:40 PM
That is something hard to tell, and I can't even think of a specific amount of bitcoin because we are not sure about its value in the next decade. And aside from that, we can't really tell how much we will need to secure our future since things are changing so fast. Right now we can say that probably around half a million-dollar is enough but we never know how much things will change while we're moving forward, living expenses may become more expensive as we adapt to technology and such.
98  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Youtube Scam? on: December 29, 2020, 01:03:36 PM
That's already common in YouTube and Twitter as well, and they are trying to get attention so that they can scam others. You will usually see this kind of comment especially in videos for beginners like teaching about the basics of bitcoin and crypto. It's easy for scammers to attract attention from beginners who still lack knowledge that's why it's better to ignore those comments and report them.
99  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling as a profession: there's people who live out of gambling? on: December 28, 2020, 05:17:33 PM
Well, we need to find out if the so called professional gamblers have other jobs in real life that augments to the money that they earn in gambling. There are many professional gamblers that I think do not have jobs, but they have the skill in managing their assets and wealth as such that they were able to live the life they want, and still have the money to pay for the gambling. They have superb discipline not to over spend and also ambitious.
Some people consider gambling as their profession and their job. Some of them making this their main source of income, I assume that they are making good money from gambling and I believe he got this talent or skills more than us. Only a few people have got this thing, many people come to gambling but sadly they usually lose. I don't believe in gambling beliefs but as I talk to one of my friends who is doing this, he says there is such a thing but not 100% it gives you back what you wanted but base on his experience, he got more on winning than losing. If that be consistent, he can make this thing for a living.
Honestly, I don't really know someone is doing that, but I believe somehow there are people who have the gift to consider as a source of income or making a living out of it, these are gifted people as most of us are struggling while they are making money for their own.
I believe that it's hard being a professional gambler because you'll be depending on your expenses based on how much you earn or lose. I really don't know how these people manage to do it and stay as a professional gambler for years since it's not stable because you either win or lose. But living out of gambling takes skills not only in gambling but also in managing their funds. So salute to those gamblers who were able to live only with gambling as their profession.
100  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which virtual currency is suitable for long-term investment? on: December 28, 2020, 03:17:15 PM
The answer is already obvious though, the majority would choose bitcoin and ethereum when talking about long-term investment. You already mentioned giant companies focusing on them so both already have a stronger foundation compared to other coins and there is more assurance that it will still be doing good after a long period. While there's more risk linked if you are planning to invest in other altcoins for the long term.
