Is the page at http://transition.byteball.org/ current?

I linked my address, and the transition bot said I was all setup, but it doesn't show there.
2  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [XMR] Monero - A secure, private, untraceable cryptocurrency on: May 25, 2017, 01:16:25 AM
Disappointing to see this. I've been a big believer in the tech behind XMR, but tech can only go so far - it's not going to gain traction if it's reputation is tarnished. That being said, I don't think it's a death knell but it will turn people away in the short term. Hopefully we don't see stunts like this again in the future...

We are at a peak now. If you buy now be ready to possibly see your investment halve before a climb back again. Remember the $1300 in 2013.

I was here in 2013. Sure doesn't feel like a peak to me yet. I think we could see another +50% from here. Sure, there may be another correction before then, but I wouldn't bet on it.
4  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [XRP] Ripple Speculation on: May 17, 2017, 06:33:14 AM
I've never been much of a fan of Ripple when compared to BTC. But given it's making inroads with the traditional banking system, maybe it'll make it easier for even more people to buy other cryptos? From that perspective, I can get behind it.

tbh - I sold some at $940-950 on this bounce, I do not believe we will get back up to $1000 before another sizable drop. Too many people seem to be planning on unloading this time when we get to $1k again

Buy back target is in the low $800s, I think we will be in this $800-900 range for the next month or so, perhaps touching some of the support in the high $700s if people panic again for some reason.

Nothing wrong with hedging..

Hopefully you did not sell too many in reliance on that view, but if you end up being correct, then the more power to you.

I usually try to hang onto most of my coins, so I do have fiat to buy more on the dips, but I get a bit nervous hedging too much for down when it looks like we may be on the cusp of an actual upwards explosion.. the upwards explosion may or may not happen, but I would feel bad it I had anymore than 15% of my BTC investment holdings hedged towards down.. .. currently, I only have about 6% or 7% or so hedged towards the possibility of down from here, but I can see where someone may want to hedge a bit more than me... and even double is within my concept of reasonable.. but beyond that would make me nervous in these current market conditions..

Yea, I agree. I only sold 20% of my stash. I would be nervous to sell any more than that. This is actually the first time I've sold since the big drop in 2013, been buying ever since and scooped up plenty of coins in the $200-300 range.

I had planned to sell some anyway when we got to the 2013 ATH, just to lock in some profits. Should have stuck to that plan but when time came to sell I started hoping that we would zoom right past it and held off.

Nice to see ZEC continue its plunge while XMR rises.
8  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [XMR] Monero Speculation on: November 03, 2016, 07:43:40 PM
Yeah, feels like we're going to test that support at 0.007 though. Not sure it will hold if BTC continues to go up.

I happened to give the Pascal Titan X a try with this,

Results at stock, ~30.8 Mh/s in ETH and 300 Mh/s in DCR

Bumped up memory to +400 and got

34 Mh/s in ETH and 331 Mh/s in DCR

Definitely not a cost effective card but thought I'd post the numbers if anyone was curious. This was done in Windows 10 with the v6.4 build btw
Eth sounds about right, DCR seems low, did you change dcri?

Ah, it was at default.

I tried -dcri 70 just now with my memory OC (+400), and got 775 Mh/s. Much better. ETH hashrate dropped to 33 with the DCR intensity raised.

Sold all my XMR @ .0121 avg, 572btc worth. Will buy it all back at .005 Smiley

Good luck, not gonna happen. Doubt we will see 0121 again even

We'll see. When people say things like it'll never go below X that's exactly when it tends to happen.

Going down to .005 seems too drastic at this point but I wouldn't rule out a retracement to 0.008-0.009

There we go. I'm hoping this bottoms out around $250.
13  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: November 11, 2015, 05:29:21 AM
This bounce looks super weak after almost going under $300.

In terms of percentage drop this move was massive too, nearly -20%? Haven't seen that in a long time, not in a single day anyway.

Pretty bearish now myself... I won't be surprised to wake up under $300.
14  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: November 10, 2015, 11:00:47 PM
If we do go back to the $200s, don't think we'll be there for long.

My guess, there's going to be an extreme move in one direction or the other... <$200 or >$450 by the end of this month.

I'm betting on the upside personally

On finex the stairstep walls are back also... probably from a single whale. Obvious manipulation
16  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: November 05, 2015, 12:21:52 AM
Honestly, the price is holding better than I thought it would given all this selling. Not so sure we drop to low $300s anymore.
17  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: November 04, 2015, 10:47:18 PM
I think we'll hit low $300s personally - probably $320 or so... then bounce off that.
18  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: November 04, 2015, 10:03:32 PM
Nice volume.
19  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: November 04, 2015, 04:12:59 AM
If this isn't dumped on by tomorrow a lot of positive press is going to start rolling in.

And if it gets near $1K again, oh boy... a lot of people that were on the sidelines before will likely jump in, cuz FOMO.
20  Economy / Speculation / Re: someone shorted 5K BTC on bitfinex - wow - what a brave move! on: October 29, 2015, 05:32:09 PM
China still looks very bullish - so no not a wise move in my opinion
