I am sure many of you are in and/or have been in other masternode projects and have seen some of your investments and holdings virtually disappear in front of your eyes. Now, we have many “doom and gloom” merchants preaching to us that masternodes are dying as a whole, PIVX based projects are dead, and ETH is the new Messiah.

I agree and disagree. I agree that PIVX has diluted the quality by making it too easy for numerous projects to pop up. It reminds me of the programs I used to watch of bank managers and other high powered successful people that give up their high pressure jobs to move to a new country to run a bar or restaurant in a sunny climate. “Surely it can’t be that hard” but they soon learn the hard way, that they are like a fish out of water and most will fail at their new “easy” life when they realise it is not as easy as pulling a beer or poaching an egg.

Then I think of the saying “a good workman never blames his tools”.

PIVX is still and should remain a great set of tools, in the right hands.

Adapt or die they say?

Since the genesis block of the VAULT blockchain back in June 2019. We have been adapting and evolving to be more than a masternode project. We have always had a longterm plan. I have never made a secret of how I would like to see VAULT as a scarce coin with an exclusivity and premium use, and that goal has never changed.

VAULT will reach 21 million in around 100 years from now and none of us will be around for that.

What we have kept secret is we have always had plans to drop the total supply down. First it was 5 million, but due to how the future is changing we believe that 3 million is the sweet spot and now some of those numbers we have been mentioning, 1000, 3000, 6000 might make more sense to you. Not only will they be significant amounts and give you a larger share and benefits but in theory when the last coin is generated in 2035 there can only be 500 people holding 6000 VAULT coins. Only 500 people could be holding VAULT and there are more than that now.

This is in theory, but in reality there is likely to be maybe only 50-100, if that. The more holders of VAULT, the less chance there is of reaching 6000, and if a holder has 6001 he has already knocked that maximum number down to 499.

FXN Update

We have exhausted all efforts with interested takeover teams, and after the last proposal talks broke down we will now be triggering the 30 day countdown as required by the terms of CRYO for abandoned projects #cryo-explained. We were able to save TPC with a financial expert team, and we've tried for months and are still trying to save FXN as well but there is only so much we or any host can do for so long. Most if not all other hosts would have simply delisted and made no effort to save an abandoned project.

CRYO Update

CRYO projects that are abandoned, ownerless or exited.

In the eventuality of a project becoming ownerless, which can also be for legitimate reasons, there will be procedure and timeline for guidance, clearly stating the path that will be taken.

GOLD, SILVER, BRONZE Ranked Projects (Ownerless)
Once it has been confirmed that a project has been abandoned and the premine and masternodes are on the platform or in the care of VAULT.Investments, the project will be immediately put into maintenance mode, with only deposits permitted and the distribution of rewards will cease. There will be a 14 day period for the original team to get in touch to resolve any issues. If no contact has been made after 14 days the project will have 30 days to find a new owner. If no owner is found the project can be released and delisted at any time following the expiration of the 30 day period. There will be a mandatory freeze of all coins before any restart has been initiated.

CUSTOM Ranked Projects (Ownerless)
Following the event that a project becomes ownerless and the premine is not under the care of VAULT.Investments the project will continue as normal for 30 days with all rewards being distributed and deposits and withdrawals open. If the project is still ownerless after 30 days it can be released or delisted at any time after the 30 day period.

Applies to All Ranks
Once it is confirmed that a project has become ownerless, VAULT.Investments will do all in its power to secure the project and its assets, including listings and community and act as caretaker during the stated times for expiration. This is to help protect investors and to find a resolution to continue with the project in some shape or form.

After the permitted expiration of ownerless projects they can lose support from VAULT.Investments, including hosting, explorer and listings. The project’s related channels and support can be removed, including private investor channels.

Ownerless CRYO Projects Takeover Restart Plan
Before a CRYO project is restarted there will be a mandatory freeze of all coins held on the platform. This will help safeguard investors and project owners from bulk withdrawals and provide a fair start and smooth lift-off for everyone.

Frozen Assets/Coins Held On VAULT.Investments Platform
Frozen coins held in CRYO projects on the VAULT.Investments platform remain the property of the account’s owner and can be sold and/or transferred to another user’s account on the platform in their frozen state. Both users should contact VAULT.Investments through our contact form to initiate an internal movement of coins.

The nature of CRYO projects adds a store of value to the frozen coins in user’s accounts. This is due to efforts, time and costs required on the open market to obtain coins in bulk unfrozen to accumulate the passive income that is already being provided daily by frozen bulk coins.

VAULT.Investments does not guarantee, determine or speculate on the value of frozen coins on the platform and these should not be compared with coins available on the open market however due to the scarcity in some cases bulk frozen assets have exceeded market value in sales and transfers to other users due to the passive income they can provide.

If a project is approved for a CRYO extension greater than one year the facility to sell and transfer frozen coins will be provided after the end of the original end date.

Applies ONLY to VAULT Coin Project
VAULT coin is a unique project in the fact that after one year it retains a high lock/freeze, which is abnormal for a project where the blockchain remains unchanged and especially of this age without a coin swap and relaunch. This was made possible due to the tokenomics of our blockchain, management of company funds and premine but also with the discipline and belief of our investors when selling their rewards.

VAULT coin was created by investors for investors and has been designed with a stable long term passive income in mind. Through the continued development and evolution of the VAULT project we can provide the essential ingredients to increase demand.

A project will be given a CUSTOM rank if it does not meet the requirements for GOLD, SILVER, or BRONZE. The minimum requirement for CUSTOM is all presale masternodes will be frozen at the start of the chain. Custom rank will also be used to downgrade any projects that misuse their premine on the platform or drop the required standards that were expected. For downgraded projects, we will still ensure that any funds taken from the premine for other unapproved purposes will be initially frozen on the platform.

Bronze: Premine frozen, presale masternodes frozen
Projects are listed in our CRYO Program, enjoying protection against dumping of the presale nodes in the early days of the project life-cycle, We will hold all premine funds and freeze them. After listing on an exchange the premine can be used for OTC sales, bonuses, and giveaways and all funds taken from the premine will initially be frozen on the VAULT platform. Only rewards from frozen funds can be taken off the platform. This sends a strong signal to potential investors that this project will not be able to exit by dumping the premine on the market during the startup phase of the project. The project can still fail or exit without dumping a large volume of coins.

Silver: Premine frozen, presale masternodes frozen, blockchain developed by VAULT, team unverified
An additional layer of trust will be added to the bronze level, making it our silver level, by having the blockchain created and maintained by VAULT Investments. This will send an additional signal to potential investors, that their chain will be maintained, locking their premine for a period of time in our VAULT as well as the presale masternodes being locked in our CRYO Program preventing those from being dumped on the market in the early stages of the project. The project can still fail or exit without dumping a large volume of coins.

Gold: Premine frozen, presale masternodes frozen, project team VERIFIED by KYD
The VAULT Investments team will have had a major influence on the creation and setup. We may even have developed the blockchain and wallets, helped with the whitepaper, design, marketing and other requirements necessary to launch a successful project. All details of our involvement will be disclosed prior to private presales. Verification will send an additional signal to potential investors, that a project can mean real business by being public and transparent, locking their premine for a period of time in our VAULT as well as the presale masternodes being locked in our CRYO Program preventing those from being dumped on the market in the early stages of the project. KYD is a company that specializes in project verifications and will add an extra layer of credibility to a project, but even verified projects can still fail or exit without dumping a large volume of coins.

The VAULT Investments team will continue to offer advice and support, help with marketing through VAULT owner's server and media sources, but the reality is if the project fails to deliver then it is on the head of the project owners themselves.

CRYO Projects
What is a CRYO project?

A CRYO project can be a new masternode project or a project that has been given a second chance by being relaunched on the VAULT Platform. An example of a relaunched project is the PAWS animal charity project, which was relaunched 18 months, after its initial launch. A project cannot be a CRYO project if it doesn’t have a brand new blockchain on which all coins can be accounted for. During the early stages of a new project, coins on the new blockchain will be frozen/locked and only rewards will be free to be sold on exchanges. This helps protect investors and the project from early dumps that break morale and render the new coin worthless. It will leave investors with less risk of devaluation through the project blockchain activities, so they can concentrate on the use case and goals the project stands for, as you would with any investment outside of crypto.

A project will normally be in CRYO for a limited time (however this can be extended and in some cases be made permanent), after which it is released and will be a normal project from then onwards. If a project is not extended, a gradual release plan will be agreed to unfreeze a % of frozen coins, so as not to shock or flood the market. Rewards from CRYO projects will gradually overtake the premine coins, which means that over time a CRYO project will behave like normal cryptocurrency.

There are now 4 different ranks of CRYO protection, 3 of these have both premine coins AND coins used for presale masternodes locked on the VAULT Investments platform and one where only the presale coins are locked on the platform, while the premine could alternatively be controlled by the project owners.

Each rank of CRYO will signify the level of support that a project receives from VAULT Investments. The GOLD, SILVER, BRONZE ranks can include services like creation of the blockchain, wallets, and explorer as well as support for creating the whitepaper and the sale of presale masternodes, which leaves a new project with a turnkey solution with regards to the blockchain, so they can focus on the implementation and realization of their mission and goals. The new CUSTOM rank will normally be substandard to CRYO with only the initial masternodes being frozen under the protection of CRYO, with the premine possibly being in the possession of the project owner. The CUSTOM rank can also be used to downgrade projects that have failed to meet expectations.

All projects are responsible for their own presale funds in their possession and the roadmap for implementing their goals to drive demand, grow and maintain their project. It is still the sole responsibility of the investor to carry out their own research into the project and mission. All investors are also solely responsible for profits and losses that they incur due to a project's performance. We would like to remind all investors that cryptocurrency is no different than traditional investments and can carry an element of risk and you should never invest more than you can afford to lose.

All projects that are leaving CRYO “legally” will be unfrozen gradually by % platform wide each week at a rate of 5% per week. This will allow a smooth transition to full decentralization.

So how is CRYO different from a normal masternode project and what makes it so special?

Put simply. A CRYO project is a new or existing project that is being given a second chance by being relaunched on the VAULT Platform which hasn’t distributed any coins. The presale masternodes if applicable, will be sold and frozen on our platform for an agreed time. Only the masternode rewards can be withdrawn or reinvested on GOLD, SILVER, and BRONZE ranks but custom projects could have more flexibility with the premine. CRYO projects are designed with low sustainable R.O.I.s for long-term viability.

The REAL truth of VAULT Coin Project

VAULT coin was launched in June 2019 with a 0 day use case as the currency of the VAULT.Investments Platform.

The blockchain has remained unchanged since genesis block.

Support and Protection for Project Owners and Investors! - A smarter way to invest.

There is a lot more to come and the real facts speak for themselves.

When making decisions about cryptocurrency investment, one key metric that is often used is a coin’s maximum supply. This number refers to the total number of coins that will ever be in circulation and varies from crypto to crypto. While some cryptos opt to have an extremely low supply, such as Maker, which only has about 1M coins in existence, others have billions or hundreds of billions, like Doge. As experienced crypto investors are aware, the max supply has a great impact on the potential value per coin. VAULT has taken the approach of Bitcoin, choosing a relatively low maximum supply of 21,000,000 coins that will be dispersed over an extremely long period of time.

However, Masternode coins tend to inflate their coin supplies far too quickly, leading investors to believe that a low supply virtually guarantees good economic conditions. Many may look at Vault’s 21M cap and think that it is actually high and that the market will be flooded with coins.

They would be badly mistaken

Let’s take a look at where VAULT stands today, approximately one year since the launch of its blockchain. Currently, there are:

224,905 VAULT coins

203,000 are locked in Masternodes, representing about 90% of the current supply.

19,570 remain in the premine (originally 100k coins).

This means that only about 1% of coins are available on markets, and a good portion of these are likely being held in staking wallets.

For a project in its second year of operation, these numbers are in a league of their own. Only 1% of the total VAULT coins have been minted thus far.

But in the years to come, VAULT will still remain scarce as the VAULT blockchain has made its final change to block rewards. So consider the following:

So, in June 2021, there will only be 416,749 VAULT, representing less than 2% of the total coin supply.

In June 2029, when VAULT is ten years old (Bitcoin had 17 million at the same age), there will only be 1,952,221 coins.

In fact, VAULT will not even reach a 5M supply until 2044, when VAULT is 25 years old. VAULT will not reach its max supply until the year 2128 or later when the chain is over 110 years old.

Max supply is only a good metric when paired with the rate at which it will be met. In the case of VAULT, its relatively low supply, and extremely slow emission rate guarantees that scarcity will be maintained. Add in the effects of CRYO that prevent mass coins and masternode dumping, and the results are limitless. VAULT is able to sustain a high value per coin and plans on continued added value through utility and platform improvements.

By freezing the supply it can be managed better and is a safer way to invest. With standard masternode projects the coins can be dumped in volume at any time and destroy even the best projects.

Vault coin started off with a 0 day use case as the currency of the Vault Investments platform that allows users to deposit any number of coins in projects listed and receive the maximum benefits from compounded masternode shares from a pool set up on the backend. Platform improvements include coin swapping and investment coin packs as well as other additions to improve user experience.
