I sent Qrk2 and btc to several accounts on the exchange and then transferred out the Qrk2 and btc. 

No problems for me.

I have spoken withe the owner at Flame Exchange and he promised to return all qrk2 that was on the exchange, just pm him on his Discord channel. 

He did send me all my coins.

He also said he would return the BTC in the near future. The total amount taken was under 1,000 euros.

Solo mining is difficult at the moment, you have to use a pool - list of pools here:  https://miningpoolstats.stream/quark2

To activate mining in the wallet go to console and use the command setgenerate true [number of cores to use]

The masternodes were taken from PIVX github, the features are:

Anonymization and increased privacy of transactions
Instant transactions
A decentralized governance
A decentralized budgeting system
Proposal and voting systems.

after masternodes and POS 3.0 (also taken from PIVX) come online around July 3, 2019 Qrk2 will be very similar to PIVX but we retain Qrk code base for now.

I am the dev at Qrk2.  I do not now what happened at Quark except for what is on github and generally on Reddit and bitcointalk. The code on github has major problems that i fixed.  The Quark masternodes have well known security flaws that should never be implemented in my opinion.  You are free to fork from my coin if you want to.

I don't know who that is, I am the main dev for Qrk2. 

I forked the Quark github but ended up using RVN more then Quark.  The hashing algo is X16r from Ravencoin.

Once masternodes and POS 3.0 activate (I took from PIVX) after 8.4 million coins are mined then POW will be de-activated on the network and we will be pure POS coin.

Qrk2 transactions will be untraceable once masternodes activate.

Hi, yes initially it was a test coin but it has become very popular in Eastern Europe. 

I will list it on 2 exchanges after I release the mobile Android and Ios wallets.

Android should be next week (testing now) and IOS the week after.

POS will not be activated until we reach 8,400,000 coins - so miners get the entire block reward until that point.  After that POS and masternodes will start up.

Hi everybody!

First let it be known the coin is not launched yet, please read everything below.

I would like to create created a new cryptocurrency called "Quark 2.0", a fork of the once famous Quark cryptocurrency.
Quark 2.0 will be Pow/Pos and have masternodes. The code is written and running on testnet.

Masternodes will be activated after a certain amount of coins 8 million are minted (maybe 1 million) so that rewards only go to POW and POS in the beginning.
POS will pay out 5% 3.5% a year
POW/POS will split the block reward 55/45 using a see-saw function taken from PIVX that adjusts based on hash rate

Many of you know that Quark was released in a most unfair fashion in 2013.  The original development team instamined most of the first 247 million coins over a few months.  

Quark 2.0 seeks to correct that and build upon the Quark algo that is still one of the best today in my opinion with a focus on privacy with masternodes.  

I have in mind the following specs (subject to change of course)

NO PREMINE
NO INSTAMINE
Quark Algo X16r Algo
POW/POS up to certain block height then mastenodes will be activated
POS pays 5% 3.5% yearly reward after holding coins for 30 days
CPU ONLY MINING FROM WALLET
21 26 Million total coin supply to be mined in 1-3 years (need advice here please) then switch to POS/MASTERNODE ONLY
50,000 coins for masternode collateral wallet
