141  Economy / Speculation / Re: bitcoin still dipping. What should we do? on: November 17, 2018, 06:06:00 AM
These are the times to buy.... if you want to sell that would help some of us get in cheaper...

It's still possible to go down another $500 - $1000

Tone Vays and Tyler Jenkins have been following the price and waiting for this for 6 months

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3iEI8S3s0Zo

If you just follow the candles, you get a pretty good idea when your BUY time is and when your SELL times are optimal.
142  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is less stable than some ALTs ! on: November 16, 2018, 09:37:18 AM
What is your purpose for comparing it to those two altcoins?
Want to pump the coins that you are holding and that is why you posted it in bitcoin discussion?

He just wants to pretend ripple wasn't $3 twelve months ago, and Stellar wasn't $0.80....

You want stability? Go with USDT. It will always be 1:1 with USD.

It's been as low as $0.93.... stablecoins are shit.
143  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How do we incentivize small and medium companies to accept and use Bitcoin? on: November 16, 2018, 09:33:55 AM
Wait for a second layer or sidechain that works with bitcoin to do payments with it.

Bitcoin is a store of value that puts security before speed. That isn't changing ever.

There are second and third layer solutions being worked on (many are aware of Litecoin) that are "planned" to be used to solve the payment issue.

The altcoin/sidechain will send the payment immediately and reconcile the users bitcoin later... allowing for the security of bitcoin and the scaling of payments without screwing up bitcoin.
144  Economy / Speculation / Re: what are the factors that affecting the bitcoin price on: November 16, 2018, 08:15:02 AM
What I know, because of the hard disk bch, so many investors sell bitcoin to buy bch, so that the volume of bitcoin decreases and impacts the value decreases.

It's called a fork

People sell their bcash and got more bitcoin after they forked, while they fought and created another fork. It devalues their two blockchains more than the 1 forked blockchain already did. Normal people aren't selling bitcoin for bcash, one of the forked bcash owners sold a bunch of bitcoin, probably to fund his fork project.
145  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: bitcoin bankruptcy on: November 16, 2018, 08:03:01 AM
decentralized currency. feels like freedom but really feels like bankruptcy. down 4000$ this week. hard earn money gone. last two months suppose to be a bull run the signs are everywhere. how did it tank . so sad . the dip keeps on dipping. when u btfd but it betrayed u. not sure how the upcoming recession is going to react to bitcoin. sounds like 4500 a bitcoin. sounds like getting rekt sum more.

Keep trusting the federal reserve to "fix" the problem?

They covered up a depression by printing money last time, surely they have a plan ready to keep printing somehow.

Then Brexit hits the Pound and the Euro once that mess is "figured out."

Italy is arguing with the EU about their budget still

South America's currencies all suck, the Rupee will probably die. Are we all going to move to the Yen, Lira or Ruble?

Bitcoin is going to be massive or everything is going to crap.
146  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is less stable than some ALTs ! on: November 16, 2018, 07:45:19 AM
yes..  many alt coins are maintaining  stable price of a coin in a longer term.

Actually altcoins (aka shitcoins) die more often than they maintain value....

Intelligent people can do the math and research for themselves, what the current odds are an altcoin lasts.
147  Economy / Speculation / Re: what are the factors that affecting the bitcoin price on: November 16, 2018, 04:31:15 AM
You can check the 500 articles written about it already online

Its a new asset class... it will wildly fluctuate for another decade in price.
148  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is less stable than some ALTs ! on: November 16, 2018, 03:52:53 AM

tell me what you guys think?

Another crappy thread about alts?

Have any Alts stored value for 10 years and funded almost every alt and dev teams projects?

Riiiighhhttt.
149  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BTC currency unit is too complicated to accepted widely. on: November 15, 2018, 10:33:20 PM
It's complicated if you believe small payments should be done with bitcoin.

That's your problem. Bitcoin is storing value.

Wait for a 2nd/3rd layer or bitcoin side chain to solve the payments dream.

Early adopters that can't wait for all their needs to be met, can just sell their bitcoin and come back when it's solving their problems.
150  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC is falling !! on: November 15, 2018, 08:08:27 PM
Bitcoin falls for the second time this year under the psychological $ 6000 dollar limit. This is an huge crypto crash in which all major currencies have dropped by more than 10 percent. In June of this year the Bitcoin price already dipped below $ 6000. The recovery was quick then.
Bitcoin is already stuck in a downward trend all year round and is dragging the entire cryptocurrency market with it. The BTC price has now dropped by more than 70% compared to its peak. The prices of other altcoins like Ripple and Ethereum are about 80% lower than the peak.

There was no "market" 5 years ago, people analyzing and speculating on "what it all means" is really funny.

Hold and wait still works for people like it did 5 years ago and up to 2 years ago for bitcoin.

All the wanna-be's get wiped out and bitcoin just keeps storing value.
151  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I've made this portrait of Hal Finney made of USD ripped bills on: November 15, 2018, 09:13:26 AM
Nobody thinks dorian is Satoshi, was kind of surprised anyone would want to create a portrait of the guy.

a few people i know seen the hal finney you made and said. 'what does pierce brosnon'(previous james bond)'have to do with bitcoin'.
now i said it, i bet a few people now cant unsee it lol

Cant unsee it lol
152  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Binance Transferred out 110,000 BTC on: November 15, 2018, 08:56:14 AM
Probably a hedge fund selling after they shorted bitcoin...

Hopefully it fucks all the shitcoins up for a few months lol.
153  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Just calm the f$%^ down, this is not the end of Bitcoin. on: November 15, 2018, 08:18:51 AM
People are running for the hills, because they think the sky is falling and this is the end of Crypto currencies.  Roll Eyes

Nope

This whole spectacle has started with the FUD that are being spread in mainstream media and the supposed "war" that is happening in the Bitcoin world.

Some of us dont watch that stuff

All of this is causing massive confusion amongst people <speculators>, who does not know the difference between Bitcoin <BTC> and BITCOIN CASH and now the real Bitcoin is suffering because of that.

We will see a correction after the fork, when these idiots realize that the sky is not falling after all.  Roll Eyes

https://www.forbes.com/sites/cbovaird/2018/11/14/what-triggered-bitcoins-sharp-price-plunge/#616be24e1d66

You realize some of us actually want the scared people to sell, right? We are buying... it will be cheaper... who cares if it goes down 80%. They gambled with money they didn't have while the rest of us store value cheaper and cheaper.
154  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: The market is looking all red once again on: November 15, 2018, 08:10:34 AM

I think you can add your thread the view of coinmarketcap today's! Ethereum has fallen its rank. Ripple is number two now.

Nobody cares about the things that aren't bitcoin though.... go maximalist or get wrecked.
155  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: The market is looking all red once again on: November 15, 2018, 08:09:06 AM
Most of us are trader, and all of traders wants profit. No more long term holding, people will sell their cryptocurrency if they get chance to gain profit in form of fiat. They will buy those cryptocurrencies again after the price fall.
trading for long time by buying bitcoin at this moment really looks good for us.all cryptocurrency price now on cheap price.i hope when BAKKT trading launched, all crypto price could recovered again.

Ok what's with the bakk that can help the crypto to recover? Huh
There's a massive selling that's happening right now due to bitcoin cash fork and likely I don't get it why people are getting clever now and seems they're on bitcoin cash side. Hopefully, bitcoin will get back to its shape.

You just haven't held bitcoin long enough maybe?

It's still at the same value anyone who has owned it more than 13 months had when they bought it... it could go down to the $4k or 2k level and many of us just don't care.

Anyone not in bitcoin for the long haul better not have money in it though.

These low periods wipe out all the shitcoin holders  Cool

I have bitcoins since it was 200 dollars, I can wait to drop more before I start to panic. Low periods will wipe out unbelievers and shitcoin holders, that is a sure thing. This year we have many red days, and a lot of panic among new people in crypto. They are desperate, they didn't expect all this to happen, they had other plans, to be millionaires already.
Bitcoin is in great shape if you ask me, this is a good ground for future. Price can't jump up when ever we wish it, give it some time, adoption is not a fast process, many good things are waiting for us and price will grow once again, nothing happen over night with crypto, except with pump and dump shitcoins, gamble with them if you wish fast money.

Honestly hope its another year at this level...maybe even down another 15%.... whoever these traders are that come in and don't see the pumps have to go get a job at some point.

The next wave, 2020 or even 2021, it's going to be the same annoying spike we had in December where people never think "this isn't normal or going to last." Nothing goes up like that without falling. The harder the fall, the more we see who is in this for the right reasons.
156  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC is falling !! on: November 15, 2018, 08:02:00 AM
in my opinion, there is a possibility that most bitcoin holders who expect bullish exceeds 8000 US dollars start running out of patience to sell their assets, because during this half year the value of bitcoin is only around 6000-7000 US Dollars.

Stop spreading FUD... IT DOESNT MATTER WHAT THE PRICE IS NOW. It matters what the price is 5 and 10 years from now.

If you have no patience, you get no reward.
157  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC is falling !! on: November 15, 2018, 07:58:56 AM
I really fear that bitcoin will disappear, because in India, Korea and China the government has banned the use of bitcoin in that country, the fewer enthusiasts, the lower the price of bitcoin will be.

So sell your bitcoin and leave if you don't know how it works.

Banning it doesn't stop people from valuing it. Why would it be LESS valuable when governments that print money ban it and say "use this crap we print and value it" ?

If the internet is alive and the blocks are solved every 10 minutes, it's getting stronger and more valuable.
158  Economy / Speculation / Re: This is not the end of bitcoin on: November 15, 2018, 07:04:32 AM
Even if it hit $100, they're would be buyers. No need to worry about the price addicts.

Hope it gets a little lower to get more fiat in there again... just under $1k would be amazing to buy at.

FTFY  Wink

That's dreaming, there are way too many buy orders right now every time it dips like this.
