wrong to use -I 20 on a bunch of 290x? Should I stick to 18? Not getting any HW errors with 20.

And now my question...solo mining it  I have set up my bat file to connct to 127.0.0.1:6857 (I have also added this as the RPC port to the wallet conf file), and this is what I get:  Accepteds is showing as 0, but I do see a "best share" value. Is this thing actually mining? Rit. Yup accepted 0 hardware error 1 Yep, it's the 0 accepted I'm worrying about. Rewards are obviously zero at the moment, which is fine, but am I actually finding any blocks? I can't bloody tell Accepted will only come in when you actually solve a block. Until that point, there is nothing to see! |

Glad we could help  Yeah Joerii, we see that now lol. We are still trying to be reasonable. I wish the original Dev was still around to at least share his input. These coin parameters were not our idea =/ and a 66 day mining time seems unreasonable, especially since we are going to be over halfway mined by block 12k which is in a few days. Firstly, I have voted. But, why isn't the implementation of both KGW and POS not enough? By ensuring POS is there, wallets will still be online, and transactions will be verified. If all the coins are mined, again, I see no issue. All of the USD and AUD is in circulation. What will drive this coin is market places, dice games, and any other "need" driven medium. Miners are not the answer to keeping this coin alive. Driving demand is! |

I get messages "Found block for pool 0" but I do not see anything in A: Nothing in my wallet aswell. I also see New block detected on network. I'm confused.
Same here! This just sounds like we are mining and all transactions are being shot back to a central wallet! SCAM COIN! |

It's a re-release not because of failure, but because the original dev became very ill and handed this off to the community. That and it really needed to be polished up in order for any exchanges to take AKC seriously. Do you think they'd list a coin based on resentment? Those here in the community want to make this a viable coin and make it worth something more than just an FU to Keiser.
As for any newcomers, maybe some won't even know or even care. Maybe others would appreciate the evolution.
Personally I'd love to see it become something more and meaningful.

However it is only not displayed correct, the rewards are correct.
Dif is not fixed, it just doesn't retarget after each block. |

Hey everyone, Xaler and myself are working on getting the wallets updated and compiling the Linux wallet. BitcoinPropaganda won the logo contest by a landslide, which has been the case for the duration of the voting over the last week or two. We have added his logo into the wallets and are considering a full re-brand and even possible rename of this coin. please try to remain patient ... dev has not abandon you guys! ... he is tending to a family issue atm ... he apologizes and is aware that you all expect things from him that he promised ... just try to be a little patient for the time being! ... I myself wasn't aware till today! ... as soon as his issue is resolved he will be on here and taking care of business! if he isn't back in a couple days ill update the logo on the wallet myself! good news on exchange, I think were good but I don't want to say for sure today because I don't want to jinx it, I should be getting confirmation on Friday, atleast that's what I was told. Thanks for the update! Much appreciated.... I'm still mining away, but could do with some help  |

Dev doesn't look serious, at least is not the man of word, first he said "tomorrow" to update many days before, now he said "coming".
That's why the network hashrate keeps dropping. Let's see whether the "Great Community" is willing to take over in case the dev might decide to abandon it. I to have been watching the overall network hash rate drop. What the hell Dev??? We live in a society that DEMANDS "Instant Gratification". Unless you're dead, there is really no excuse for not keeping us updated daily about what is going on. |

Not at all. From what I understand the scrypt alt coins were created to get away from the ASIC dominated world of SHA256, but I also know that most people are in this market to be profitable, so I made an assumption that the community would like to have access to an ASIC in addition to the normal GPU based hashing. If the community as a whole disagrees with me, I am more than willing to redact my stance on trying to build an ASIC and instead move towards furthering the GPU based community by working on more turn key based systems and easier mining solutions. Other users feel free to chime in your 2 cents so I know the direction the GPU community wishes to strive for. The idea of an ASIC is not necessarily the issue. The COST of the ASIC will most certainly be! The push back that you will feel from this community will be based around $'s, and thus creating another coin that has the potential to be "exploited" by an ASIC seems redundant. More so, it's ironic, that you should call your coin GPUCoin, when you're leaving the door open for an ASIC to come in an limit the GPU's effectiveness. If your intent is to create a GPU based coin, that is then able to be used to purchase additional GPU's, then I'm in as well! But given that coins like Ultra/Vert etc are already heading down this path, the only key point of difference here is your linked in shop that only accepts GPUCoin. Assuming that GPUCoin will end up on multiple trading platforms, the need to directly mine this then becomes less of an issue, if it can just be bought. So, if you're intent is to create "GPUCoin", then ensure that you're putting your best foot forward to ensure that this is ONLY minable with a GPU (for the foreseeable future). |
