Bull market over?? No no. On the contrary. It only JUST begun.
2  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Sovryn - price prediction when public sale will be open on: May 28, 2021, 05:17:52 AM
When the market does its next leg up SOV will explode upwards. THIS is when you want to be buying bags. Buy LOW when the market is red.

As for the price, This is easily a blue chip coin in the making. This post sums things up very well: https://blockadvisor.io/2021/05/04/coin-watch-sovryn-sov-a-game-changer-and-one-of-my-top-picks-of-2021/

Like it says in that post, this project is extending the usage of Bitcoin, adding a ton of value, utility and a whole new ecosystem to it. Bitcoin being the largest traded asset, it would be logical to say that the SOV platform and coin could content with uniswap. This would give it the potential to possibly touch top 10.

Let's speculate a little more conservatively and say it hits top 35 area of CMC in this cycle, which is more then plausible given the fundamentals, team, backing of the project, how it is performing and the mark it is making in the crypto space as a whole.

Coins in that area are sitting around 3 BN. If SOV were to hit around that, a price of 900 would put the market cap at 3,351,491,757.00 with the current supply. Not only is this very doable for a project such as this, it could top out higher as the market cap of crypto will be simultaneously rising as it gets to its cycle top. It could top out well over $1000 USD with that being said. This is on the low end. On the High end if it reached top 10 would be astronomical. Far far into the 1000's of dollars.

Keeping in mind that there is an ETH bridge, and a BSC bridge on the way. Both of which will soak up exposure from both of those chains and its own ecosystem that is being actively built at a VERY steady pace. This project is a true juggernaut.
3  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The return of ICOs on: July 15, 2020, 06:20:17 PM
I think if the cryptocurrency market returns to its previous state, the ICO will also return. Currently the cryptocurrency situation is very bad so the ICOs are scared. So I think if the market is good then different companies will come back again.

I agree with this sentiment. Remember folks, ICO's dont necessarily mean the project in question is doing a start up for a "currency". Token models can be for any use case. If that use case can work on paper (hence the white paper) then the next phase is to see IF it can or will work in the real world. Cryptocurrency is an entire market with basically infinite potential use cases. This tech is still basically brand new and untapped. Not to mention the market cap of all crypto is tiny, especially for a global market.
There is no arguments about the purpose of ICO tokens because each one has its own promises.

But the problem is are they really going towards Roadmap?the answer is no because all they wanted is to fool investors and take their money ,rest for a while and again promote another project to make another scam.
This is the sad reality of ICO so please let us not protect these scammers mate.

You cant automatically assume or accuse every ICO of being a scam. Remember guys, ICOs are startups. Its not easy doing a startup and many startups fail. Many business in general fail. It just is what it is. Does this mean that every business that tries to open up and get into any market is a scam?? No! To assume this is foolish. We all know the gamble we are taking investing in brand new companies starting in a brand new market. The reward comes WITH risk. It's that simple. But with that said, the rewards can be life changing. This is why people must be responsible for their selves in a free and open market. If you take an L thats on you and no one else. This is a part of freedom which is also the basis of cryptocurrency. Not having some governing body tell anyone what they can and cannot do with their own money, where they can invest it or park it.

Yes ICOs should make a comeback and ill tell you why.

A while ago I came across an article and it made total sense: http://blockadvisor.io/2019/04/22/the-problem-with-ieos/

IEO's are just the exchanges way of subversion of the ICO idea. The whole concept of the ICO is to allow average joes to get in on the ground floor in investments. Allowing for potential huge profits on the users end. To do this in traditional markets you HAVE to be an accredited investor. IEOs open it up so anyone can do it in a decentralized way.

The "scam' argument is played out at this point. Are there scams? Yes. But there are scams everywhere in life. You must DYOR and not invest more then you can give up. Too many people were throwing 100K at projects in 2017 trying to pretend to be institutional investors. You have to be able to spot the crap and not go in too hard if you cant afford to.

Second. Even in the traditional markets, there are tons of zombie corporations that do sh*t all. Horrible investments, yet they are still there. Welcome to planet earth. Not every investment is a good one.

Third. People need to understand that most ICOs are STARTUPS. With that said, most startups fail. This is jus how it is. Were looking for the gems in the rough, it's a gamble but the risk to reward is what makes ICOs attractive to high risk profile investors.

Fourth. I cant count how many IEOs ive seen release on exchanges and because the exchange made shady rules in the NDA the project in question fail. Ive seen exchanges hold up coins on the exchange, not letting coins be withdrawn, exchanges suppressing the price of coins so the can buy up the supply and more. Im not sure why so many people in this space are so trusting of exchanges and/or think these exchanges have YOUR best interests in heart. They don't. So furthermore, why do so many people want exchanges to hold the power of ICOs??

So yes as the link I shared states in the vision of satoshi, decentralization and giving the power to anyone who has the nuts to take a risk and does his research properly ICOs are superior to IEOs. Both for investors AND projects.

Why are you projects still doing these IEO's? No one trusts them anymore.

DO AN ICO
