It is entirely doable  I will be selling boards that run the Avalon chips at 350mh/s. Check my signature link! Would it be software to use someone like yours firmware & flash them to our actual avy units? Technically this is possible, but certainly not advisable because the Avalon spec boards are not designed to handle the boost in power draw. |

Interested but I would like more info.
1. shipping to EU, Slovenia(estimaste).
2. do you take BTL cupones(I have 12).
3. any idea how many chips will be per PCB?
4. is 65$ biased on you having a lot of cupones or did you get discaunt? Can I use my own?
5. since price is in $ not in BTC do you take Paypal?
6. do we need to pay full price now or only 50%

I have already ordered the chips 3) Probably 16, but a fully populated PCB would not be required for it to function 4) See 2 5) No, BTC only. 6) Yes, full payment in advance is required. Actually, I got a shipping notification on that order today, the 1656 order that Bit-Pay confirmed to be first. This order doesn't belong to Cognitive or myself though, because it was originally my own and I've sold it already. P.S. Does BFL Josh actually have the authority within his organization to refund your order without your expressed consent?
Honestly, I do not know the legalities of this. I see it as a wrongdoing, as many BTC were put forth to secure this order. Josh has agreed not to cancel any orders I placed, so this should in no way affect Cognitive. My sincere apologies go out to all Cognitive shareholders who may have worried over Josh's threat of canceling our orders. --Garrett |

Note: Due to the extremely competitive offering here, I will be raising the price per chip to 0.2 effective Saturday, June 22.If you are in MilkyLep's situation, waiting for money to clear, I will work with you to secure a deposit to lock in the lower price. Shit if you want to pay me in pcb boards ill drive up and help pack up/ship orders!  Sounds like plans are coming together, cant wait for some finalized details. I'll be ordering more chips next week when coinbase clears. I'm already outsourcing all of that work, but thanks for the offer

Nope, no room, would have to be over 300watt, probably closer to 500watt to have headroom. And they aren't shipping any power supply with the unit? Looks like they're not. How many watts do these pull, has anyone measured? |

Please read the entire thread before making assumptions. I did not do any such thing, but I cannot argue against my apology to Josh because he would then be able to cancel my preorder. I am simply acting in the way those familiar with the term fiduciary duty would expect me to. Sorry for the drama, that's not what was intended (by me). As I said, I'm not going to argue against the all-powerful BFL only because I value those orders more than a few peoples' opinions of me.

So, you would be selling just the bare PCB or boards fully assembled with chips? (ie. chips I've bought from this group buy).
Would be curious about timeframe also. I.e. "1 week after chips delivery" or 2 weeks or 3... Based on your fab capacity.
I will be selling fully assembled boards, chips + heatsinks mounted and ready to go, to group-buy participants only. I expect there to be a 5 business day maximum lead time, but these numbers will not be solidified until parts sourcing has been taken care of. |

340 mh/s per chip Don't tease us like that! Do you have a rough total as to the number of chips/boards queued for production thus far? Has anything been mentioned about a different assembly completion timeframe from the new private developer? Separate from this group-buy, I have over 1000 boards that I will be producing in conjunction with this developer. Design should be finalized and in full-scale production in mid July, which is still before our Avalon chips will even arrive |

You could have accepted the forced refund like a man. You decided to publicly humiliate yourself because of greed - a refund was not good enough, you wanted your money printing machine even if that meant giving up honor and basic principles.
And because of greed you have a sockpuppet you use to scam people in auctions.
Unless Josh the sociopath has faked the screenshot he posted, he has exposed you as a greedy scammer.

I don't think you saw my reasoning for complying with Josh's requests. It was my fiduciary duty to do so. It was because I wanted to protect the investments of others above myself. I can hardly fathom how one could interpret that as greedy. To all of you that seem concerned about Garr using a sockpuppet account: I was refreshing this thread constantly when Inaba accused Garr of using a sockpuppet account to post and I never saw that happen. I think Inaba photoshopped the image he used. Think about it a minute. Who constantly snap screenshots so fast that they could catch a posting that couldn't have been here for more than a few seconds. +1 There's enough evidence here suggesting that the quote and screenshot are fake that, if I were theymos, I would deny any request regarding the authenticity of the post. He cannot refute the claims for fear of his orders being cancelled. Cancelled orders would not only hurt him, but his mining company (and investors), and people that have purchased some of his orders.
Stop being silly insisting he explain himself... maybe after his orders are delivered, we can revisit this issue.
But until then, it is heartless to insist he explain himself with the possibility of his order being cancelled if he does.
