I'll try my best to sort the current problems, but a relaunch may be needed. Not really what's causing this block reward.

Well looks like i just found a block, but is there any IRC channel possibly for neptunium? Or any chat?

How much did you get for the block?

Only the 0.000000000001 or what ever it is, i will mine a few block and report back later Smiley, if thats okay, lets see if it starts giving normal blocks soon
As I know, cryptonight coins does not change block reward.
they start from initial and only decrease imo
362  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [NPT] Neptunium | Cryptonight PoW | Secure, Anonymous and Community-focused on: March 05, 2016, 04:31:23 AM
So i feel pretty stupid now. but yes what is the exact syntax for the start_mining command... 7 core cpu here.

start_mining [7]  , start_mining [<7>] , start_mining <7>  -- not cutting it. either invalid arguments or failed to connect to daemon

Halp me pplz im stupid.

Because I am a nice guy Smiley

1) open neptuniumd and let it sync
2) open simplewallet.exe and setup wallet
3) get address
4) in neptuniumd window type start_mining <addressfromsimplewallet> 7

choose 1 core less than your max
More simple step Wink
create a .bat file with this command : neptuniumd.exe --start-mining "your wallet address" --mining-threads 7
hope it help

Yes, but my steps are teaching the grammar where your step is teaching them a phrase in the foreign language   Cheesy
hihi nice Wink

Yep it's needed buddy
I see your nodes are closing connection at every block found, wrong decimals,CLI needs dll files and platform directory

Did you allow the wallet through your firewall?
firewall already OK
I know it's not the same port but other cryptonight coins works flowlessly.

Edit:wallet not disconnected and see the block height

I do have a paid host, and something went wrong with Pydio CMS, the file sharer I planned to use. I'm talking to my host support right now, but github release is up.

EDIT: Website is back up, but if it ever goes down ago use the github link.

Release is in less than 2 hours. Everything is almost done, get ready! Cheesy
will be a forknote or self made wallet? and what is the initial block reward please?

The initial block reward is 10,000. The wallet is forked (sorry), but I will be working on redesigning it and adding additional features.

Will you have a pool up at launch?
No,based on the dev later post

379  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][BAI] BitAltcoin - new CryptoNight algo alternative currency on: March 03, 2016, 12:23:37 AM
I'm getting "failed to connect to localhost:29081" from simple wallet... Not sure why. Configuration file is showing as correct and it says I'm synchronized from the nodes.

EDIT: I really just want to gen an address so I can mine. The ones I tried are being rejected by the pool saying the username is an unknown address.
Try this as a config file and waith 3 maybe 5 minutes before opening simple wallet.
It's mine and I'm sync OK with it
Code:
CRYPTONOTE_NAME=bitaltcoin
GENESIS_COINBASE_TX_HEX=013c01ff0001ffffffffffffff03029b2e4c0281c0b02e7c53291a94d1d0cbff8883f8024f5142ee494ffbbd0880712101654e6ab34e954b1ac50aaa1cad4fdc1aedf74654e294867e99fba569cb4f7481

Thanks, but it didn't work  Sad It's like simplewallet is looking for port 29081 for some reason
then remove all the roaming folder completely like i've done and restart forknoted and after sync the simplewallet.
hope it works dude
