541  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Proof of the ownership of BitCoins during a Divorce on: September 25, 2020, 06:34:43 PM

The guy could easily say the coins got hacked and avoid paying the part to the wife, maybe in the legal way both are the owners of the coins, but in a logical way, the one who has the private keys is the only one who can spend those coins.
The wife should be wiser she should create her own wallet and the husband should send parts or shares, the wife should not let her husband keep the key, so many things can happen if only one own the private key, or both are sharing the same wallet, sine this is a divorce issue they should make an agreement to divide the coins.
542  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The biggest AIRDROP in the history of cryptocurrency on: September 24, 2020, 02:54:52 PM
Many users dump because of the fear of dump. And the dump doesn't even affect the price of uni. I think this is the best airdrop ever truly. Its an easy one too.
And price might actually go up than the amount people expects.

Not everyone was aware of this airdrop or have traded decentralized exchange because so many traders are very much into a centralized exchange and do not have the opportunity or time to trade in the decentralized exchange like UNISWAP, some people are lucky to received airdrop even if they only trade once.
543  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Charlo vs Derevyanchenko on Sept 26 on: September 24, 2020, 02:21:54 PM
Record and experience-wise Charlo has the edge I consider him a strong favorite here in this fight although Derevyanchenko is a very dangerous fighter,  Charlo is a good fighter with a good technical skill but with Derevyanchenko aggressive style there is a possibility of an upset, this is a year of the upsets, who knows this one will be another one.
544  Local / Pamilihan / Re: Ako si Dogie's Channel Hacked and became a Crypto Channel. on: September 24, 2020, 02:11:24 PM
I checked his channel and it's back online https://www.youtube.com/c/AkosiDogie/videos glad that he is back I am not his follower but it's disheartening to see if a very popular channel is hacked, that will be loss of efforts until now there are still a lot of popular Youtube hacking, these hackers are still good and Youtube security is still questionable.
545  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How do you determine if an altcoin is worth investing in? on: September 23, 2020, 02:09:22 AM
A lot of people have been burned by founders running away with with ICO money. It tarnishes the reputation of cryptocurrencies and I believe we should help educate new investors as soon as possible.

Can anyone share a checklist of the things they look for to determine if a coin is worth investing in?

And what are the red flags that you often see people fall for?

It's not 100% guaranty that the developer will not run away even if all the sign that the project and all the people behind them are all legit, because there is no regulatory board or police that will run after those who will run away with people's money, so only invest what you can afford to lose.
546  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: TRON price analysis!!! on: September 22, 2020, 03:50:34 PM
Tron us a highly centralized blockchain project for me. When you know about the project Oikos and how Justin Sun behave to them, you would completely change your mind about Tron. In a nutshell, when you make Justin upset, he will destroy your project, by not supporting token on Tron, not listing on PoloniDEX etc.  Roll Eyes

I have Oikos and I really don't like the way Justin Sun treat Oikos they lack support from Tron developers this is one story where developers will be thinking of creating a token in Tron but Oijkos is still a great project they can opt to transfer too a new platform if they wish to do so.
547  Economy / Speculation / Re: Are we biased? on: September 22, 2020, 01:19:02 PM

Do you think BTC will appreciate?

I'm sorry to say that I don't think so. Most people would sell bitcoin, as well as other assets, to obtain liquidity.

I would be glad if someone persuaded me of the opposite, though.

You are not looking forward and you are not checking what's been going on for the past ten years and I won't persuade, you when it comes to investing it should be based on your assessment if you think you are losing them stop and sell and cut your losses and comeback when bitcoin hit three digits and stabilize, investing in Cryptocurrency is not for the weak hands.
548  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Lomachenko vs. Teofimo Lopez Lightweight Unification fight on: September 22, 2020, 08:08:23 AM

So we can expect that Lopez will lose in this fight? Hmm... that's what most of us are thinking for sure, and that's why the odds for Lopez is so good if you are a believer of him. $1 million guaranteed money, I think I read a news in the past that he wasn't contented with the pay, correct me if I'm wrong.

If he can beat Lomachenko then he can ask a big amount of money $1 million is already a lot of money he is not a superstar to ask for a bigger paycheck, he must best Lomachenko and everything will follow, fame fortune money and that is if he beat Lomachecko, who is the real superstar here.
549  Economy / Speculation / Re: Why Bitcoin price are decreasing? on: September 21, 2020, 10:51:47 PM
I am thinking why Bitcoin price are going down? Is Bitcoin Bull run is finished? I want to buy Bitcoin, so is it the right time to buy Bitcoin or I will wait for a while.

It's been like this ever since and expect this drop from time to time there are many factor why Bitcoin is dropping and it's not anywhere that Bitcoin is losing it's values, sometimes whales are selling their shares for profit and many follow that drop and sometimes negative news can cause the price to drop but it will eventually recover, follow the market and you'll know.
550  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling is Addictive...Pay Attention to you Habit!!! on: September 17, 2020, 09:45:51 AM

I never said I told him he is cursed, I said I sometime Assume Or Think he is, though i know he's not, but even if he is, I will never say that to his face, that would be insulting him which is not the same as helping.

Take away that thinking gamblers are not cursed or should think that way, they are just not lucky that they are in that position they need guidance and understanding from responsible gamblers and families to get out of that position, we must not discriminate,  we also experienced that we thought we are in control when actually we are not.
551  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: India will Implement Law For Prohibition of Crypto Trading on: September 17, 2020, 07:07:41 AM
I do not understand what problem they have with crypto because everyone knows that even if they ban it it will still be traded and it cannot be stopped due to being decentralized.
India needs to learn from European countries and do not take crypto as a threat to traditional financial system as both can co exist.

It will be temporary, if they are going to ban it, they cannot keep up with the world many countries are accepting it instead of banning they should regulate it instead, it's added revenue to the Indian government, and can help their people make money from trading and offering services and products that are Crypto-related,  they should reconsider their decision.
552  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Crypto Valley of Asia Itinatayo sa Pilipinas on: September 17, 2020, 12:46:58 AM
At least though open na si Philippine government for catering crypto-related services and companies. Malaki ang magiging kita ng gobyerno dito if it gets the attention it really needs, plus it could open a host of jobs for the Filipinos further solidifying the benefits of accepting foreign crypto companies here in our land.

553  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Card counting in black jack on: September 16, 2020, 04:24:48 PM
It turns out that card counting in blackjack is quite difficult when it's actually done at a casino. Even though when our practice was
smooth using the card counting strategy, but when used in casinos there are too many obstacles and pressures that make it difficult
for us to focus on card counting. So the card counting strategy really has to increase the practice, so that we can focus and concentrate.

It is, you need 100% concentration and zero distraction I don't know how these people do it but it's more of countless hours of practice and of course, you also need luck, luck that you have a good state of mind to give 100% concentration and zero distractions I read in one article that it's illegal, so you are actually doing it without anybody noticing it.
554  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Whyte vs Povetkin II on Nov 21 on: September 16, 2020, 11:15:31 AM

Whyte's chin has been damaged already by Povetkin already and this will always remains to our mind that Povetkin's uppercut is superior. And I agree that he shouldn't rush things up to redeem himself and not look for a quick solution, - revenge. And it might back fire on him as Povetkin has proven against the odds that he has the tools to take Whyte's best punch and dish his own.

Whyte's chin has been exposed and it will be target from uppercut, straight, or hook as long as Povetkin connect Whyte is in trouble, it's either he strengthens his chin or develops a power punch to knock out Povetkin before Povetkin connect, Povetkin surprisingly can take his punch but not Povetkin's punch and that will be a big difference, I will go for Povetkin this time via knock out.
555  Local / Pamilihan / Re: Food for thought: Coins.ph and Pdax.ph phishing attempts on: September 15, 2020, 01:03:11 PM

557  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum Fees Rise 70% to Continue Record-breaking Streak on: September 14, 2020, 01:40:50 AM
Ethereum Fees Rise 70% to Continue Record-breaking Streak

If value of Ethereum drop to $35, then Etehreum fees would suddenly be ten times lower and normal again. It is not that easy fro Vitalik to do that. His promises to deliver in last years were all false but price of Ethereum still had not dumped. So on my opinion Ethereum future will be very expensive.

This cannot go on like this, I used to trade my Ethereum for fiat and it's my cryptocurrency of choice for two years already now, I'm using litecoin, Dogecoin, and Tron because of this issue, traders like me have to look for other options to trade, but it's a surprise, that it's not harming the price of Ethereum and it continues to perform better in the market, but for how long?
558  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: fortunejack withdarwal delay on: September 14, 2020, 01:15:48 AM
It's unnecessary to create 2 thread with same discussion, you need to lock this thread and continue in another your thread here fortune jack not paying payout 1.4btc

It is unnecessary unless he can prove that Fortunejack is ignoring his messages and they don't want to pay him, it's too early to create a scam accusations it's unfair to Fortunejack, because OP did not address it in a proper way and on the right venue he could get his winnings but because of what he is doing it might harm his account, he is already a VIP here.
559  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ETH's fees on "De-Fi" platforms are ridiculously high on: September 13, 2020, 12:07:16 PM
Everything is relative. The high fees on the Ethereum network are inconvenient for everyone, including me. However, you need to understand that this is a matter of habit. We are accustomed to the fact that on the Ether network there are always low fees, while on the Bitcoin network, they could be both low and high. Miners, for example, are, on the contrary, happy with this outcome of events, because their profits have increased. This is a blockchain and it has exactly these costs. I don't think anything can be done about it. Those who are not satisfied with high commissions, like me, will be forced to adapt or switch to another blockchain. One way or another, this is a guarantee of development.

Two of the alternatives people are recommending are EOS and Tron, there are already DeFi in the Tron and they are going to get a slice in the market of these DeFi projects, Tron's fee is very low at 1 cent even if you send a big amount, they are a big challenge now for Ethereum's leadership in the DeFi market.
560  Economy / Economics / Re: In COVID-19 everyone needs motivation on: September 13, 2020, 06:04:39 AM
I think this is every worst situation for all, especially those who are suffering from the pandemic, so we have one option that is to find a way to turn it into positive.
Many died as well, lost our jobs, our businesses and everything, so we really couldn't say it's a blessing. But in this condition, we should just look forward and think about of next-generation future. otherwise, our upcoming generation will also suffer as now we are facing

Yes you are right, so many things depend on how we react on this pandemic this will have a deeper impact if one of our family get infected or our source of livelihood is taken out, the most important thing is that we survived the pandemic that the health of the whole family is not compromised and we still have a business running so we can sustain our family in times like this.
