Fear not, you 2 buddies might return to avenge you.

Funny you mention that. I'm rising from the dead next week apparently, to avenge myself when France goes to war with Korea (unless they change the script).

Ow. Arrows. Maybe just sitting there waiting to be shot was not so bright an idea?

I asked them to shoot me in the knee, but they wouldn't.  Cry

Hey mnw... Good job on dying.

I finally bit the bullet and bought a 12 issue subscription to the mag.  What is the email address I can send my invoice to to find out when it will show up?  It's been like 2 weeks.  Also, when is issue 2 going to be ready?

Since there seems to be a repeating trend of asking customer support questions in this thread I'll leave this address here again for support from anything related to improper shipments, damaged packages, incorrect addresses, and order inquiries: info@bitcoinmagazine.co.uk

For advertising inquiries: ads@bitcoinmagazine.co.uk

Thank you!

Shit! I probably would've been the first viewing, but YouTube is still processing the video.

This article is from more than a year ago lol. Bitcoin is not illegal.

If u don't wish to see obvious things then I leave u in ur own imagined world.

Oh look, it's another manifest destiny/Atlas loser here to show us all how we are doomed!
2951  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Statement about the suspect of recent Bitcoinica hack on: July 29, 2012, 02:30:24 PM
Since you've made your claim public on numerous times about owed 16000 and then 17000 BTC, would you be kind enough to provide proof that you've actually sent said amount to Bitcoinica in a form or blockchain's transaction id or a receiving bitcoin address?   Then someone who is or was involved at Bitcoinca who would have had access to wallet which received these funds could confirm it.
As it stands now your claim looks sketchy at best without any evidence.

1) CoinExchanger is Maria, but was already banned by the staff here once for spamming/scamming so he's just using Maria instead.

2) I've already confirmed that he holds no balance at Bitcoinica.

3) He has never provided any evidence otherwise.

I hope you have -another- sockpuppet Leo, because Maria's on her way out too.

Something like "We use Bitcoin now" or "credit card,Srsly? embrace Bitcoin Now"
Or an image showing a "฿" sitting on the "$" which is lying on the ground.
I would buy a Bitcoin logo shirt, but I refuse to buy a Thai Baht symbol shirt.

I'm still not sure why everyone seems to believe Zhou stole the funds. At this point, it's becoming increasingly obvious that he didn't.

Really? He found a hacker, talked to him and got funds back? From a multimillionaire?

If that guy was real, it would be impossible to prove that he stole money. IMPOSSIBLE. Nice story that Zhou registered his email account at that guy online website?

LOL!

dree12 and rarity are either sock puppets, or complete lunatics... Asking for a round of applause for Zhou ... LOL ... I felt like Alice going the rabbit hole reading that.

He deserves a round of applause for not suing -you- yet for breaking your privacy agreement with him when he signed up at your exchange.
2956  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Statement about the suspect of recent Bitcoinica hack on: July 29, 2012, 02:45:48 AM
Hmm. BitInstant (whom Roger Ver is part owner of), MtGox and AurumXchange start a thread about how Zhou Tong is a hacker and a thief (advised by their attorney) which breaks all of their privacy agreements of their own companies and is basically libel.

MtGox listens to the advice of BitInstant's attorney, someone who doesn't even work for them.

They the whole boys club suddenly decides that Roger Ver, Charlie Shrem and company's attorney should be the one holding ALL customer funds for Bitcoinica with a vague condition of "until things get worked out" or something to that degree (which could be that Patrick Murck independently decides that Roger Ver should get paid out first, 100%, everyone else paid later for all we know).

It's obvious that Bitcoinica's lack of accountability and management of this issue is appalling, but come on guys-- you don't think there is any problem with this picture?
2957  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Your cryptocoins were stolen and you called the police? WTF? Are you serious? on: July 29, 2012, 01:29:37 AM
Perhaps that's where your problem lies, in your support for the state

Support for transparent organization != support for state

You think the world survives without organization. Have fun trying to work with others to build/create/better the world when you don't know how to contact them, can't get the work from them that you paid for, get robbed by them, and are raped by them in the night. Yay, anonymity!
2958  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Your cryptocoins were stolen and you called the police? WTF? Are you serious? on: July 29, 2012, 01:10:11 AM

When everyone has a gun, there is less fighting. You apparently advocate having hidden guns so that you can empower users of deception and coercion (very non-libertarian).

??

How does gun concealment create deception and coercion? Notice how cops have their guns holstered for all to see while hackers use pseudonyms? I think you are trying to peddle some perceived hacker mantra without truly understanding the foundation of this entire movement.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cryptography
Cryptography (or cryptology; from Greek κρυπτός, "hidden, secret"; and γράφειν, graphein, "writing".

The "movement" is a military one. You think anonymity will protect you? Imagine everyone being anonymous. Wow. That's a fun world to live in. Who are your parents? Who are your friends? Who is your president? Who are the police? Everyone can commit any and all crimes against you and you have absolutely no recourse. Go peddle your thieving mantra somewhere else. Bitcoin is about transparency to end coercion, not about anonymity. Anonymity is a different battle, one that I do not at this point see any point in supporting.
2959  Other / Off-topic / Re: Tomorrow at around 9:40PM KST my death will air on MBC in Korea on: July 29, 2012, 01:02:51 AM
Well I guess it's either (in order of likelihood):

a) a troll
b) a cry for help
c) a hacked account

Hopefully it doesn't end up being b, but ignored due to too much of a and crying wolf in the past.

d)

MNW will participate on a Korean soap opera and his character [...] dies.

What is transparent about bittorrent?
What is anonymous about it? How many people have been dragged into court rooms despite it's "anonymous nature" you claim?

You share files fairly anonymously, and you don't get shut down or sued like Napster.
200,000 U.S. BitTorrent Users Sued, http://www.tomsguide.com/us/bittorrent-file-sharing-copyright-violation-lawsuit,news-12115.html

Wikileaks? Leak files...anonymously?
Wikileaks is not anonymous. If it were anonymous, why would Asange be wanted by the US? You know you can leak things to -any- reporter in the USA and they can protect your identity as well?

Using anonymous darknet mediums such as Tor?

That's who uses tor. It has nothing to do with some noble cause. It's just about hiding yourself. Who needs to hide themselves when everyone knows who everyone is and what they're doing?

When everyone has a gun, there is less fighting. You apparently advocate having hidden guns so that you can empower users of deception and coercion (very non-libertarian).
