I give! How does one get rid of the mBTC, and get blockchain.info back to displaying BTC?
Bottom of the page, pulldown on the right, sets the displayed currency.

=squeak=

Thanks kindly, bud. It must have set mBTC to default after clicking on that link for the very first time, akin to visiting BlockChain via a link that's set in another language, then all subsequent visits I have the resulting pages in that language until I change the URL back to "en", for doing the flag drop down option doesn't work, at least not for me.

 Undecided

Ergo, at one time that wallet would have been worth over a billion, with a B, dollars.

You can bet that a very respected member of the community will be in front of the rebranding...Thats the only way it will work. Im sure they will have a payment strategy for customers, and this will have to be part of a strategy to prevent a bank run.

This is good news for those effected. However, expect the process of withdrawing to have some restrictions early in the reopening phase.

Just my thoughts on this.

Jesus, genius! And do you think such a person just may reside in Japan?

Also, I confirm.

Albeit, acq come stand for a company I used to live less than a mile away a few decades ago.

3406  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Black Arrow 28nm 100Ghash Bitcoin ASIC from $1.99/GH/s, miners from $2.97/GH/s on: February 25, 2014, 09:52:04 AM

Nope! That's all Virisilicon correspondences, not GF.

Does it really matter though or are you just fishing for something to create fud?

Bitmine uses verisilicon/global foundries and are now shipping

Blackarrow has a confirmed contract with verisilicon. What more verification do we need that its not a scam?

I would think it would be counterintuitive to rake in several million usd in investments and proceed to spend a few million on tapeing out a chip so you can maybe convince a few more people to preorder before you run.

Why not just jump ship as soon as they had a few million in preorders?

That so-called contract that Black Arrow has with Virisilicon consist of a partnership, oppose to simply contracting them to provide a service. Big difference! Ergo, why an NDA was not in play when info was requested of them. Now, I suggest asking the same exact thing of Global Foundries, whereupon I'll assume the reply WILL be different.
3407  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Mt Gox is bankrupt, and Mark Karpeles is a thief! on: February 25, 2014, 09:22:51 AM
So what's the proper term here: Goxed or Zhuo Tonged?
I think there are several words for this.
"Raped" was the first that came to my mind.
3408  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Mt Gox is bankrupt, and Mark Karpeles is a thief! on: February 25, 2014, 09:21:58 AM
Sue me if the title is libelous. AND, I'm not changing the title.

~Bruno Kucinskas

Until he returns all customer funds the title is accurate.

I'm sick with this naive community.... first they saw the warning on the walls, they still ignored and used Gox. Then they still hoped and thought noway MtGox is bankrupted. Some even sent fiat money into to "took advantage" of the low price. Now they still think oh.... MtGox is just a failed business run by an incompetent CEO.

Seriously ppl? WAKE THE FCK UP DUMBASSES!

For every person you try to warn about scam sites, there a hundred new people sans a clue waiting to get in. Take a look here http://forum.mt5.com/showthread.php?72944-WHAT-IS-BITCOIN-CAN-WE-TRADE-ON-IT-ANY-ONE-CAN-HELP-ME and read the 3-4 short posts. These people don't have a clue, but have money to burn.

3412  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Mt.Gox SCAM? $38million disappeared. Large sums affected. on: February 25, 2014, 09:04:42 AM
I said this in another thread, but I have a bad feeling that the people at Gox have been using user's funds for themselves and only processing withdraws when there are sufficient new deposits. It was working before because such huge sums of money kept getting deposited, but its starting to pile up. Seems like it could be exactly what Ultimate Bet was doing with online poker player funds. I could be completely wrong, but something is definitely up. Claiming the site was hacked would be an easy out at first..

same thing happened at Full Tilt Poker.  They paid themselves with user deposits.  Definitely not hacked

Beat you to it!

DreamHost Closes $30M in Financing from Goldman Sachs

Quote
BY NICOLE HENDERSON ON DECEMBER 9, 2013

DreamHost announced last week that it has closed $30 million in financing from Goldman Sachs Bank, advised by DH Capital.

The financing, which closed on Nov. 27, will go towards buying back the stake of a founder, paying down equipment financing, and cash for growth and working capital.

lots of replies from users who have traded with them for so long yet this is their first post.....interesting

I think I will give it a miss, until I at least know about the directors background (which doesn't look like is going to happen any day soon), I sincerely think its the same people as OKPAY/Nikolay Rozhok/Mayzus Financial Services Ltd et. al

The problem is it looks like they are setting themselves up to do a runner, and the day I let myself get ripped off by russian mafia will never come which is certainly what the whole setup looks like. A fool and his money soon parts....

Too many bad reports, thousands in fact on this forum, unbelievable that they haven't been asked to show who they are. Watch the Troll Box on their website, every five or ten minutes someone's complaining about no replies to tickets and missing BTC/USD etc...

Add another one to your list.
