Who wants to hear a funny story? So, I PMed blackarrow on ecointalk asking him if he could please address my questions in this thread when he posts his weekly update: http://ecointalk.net/topic/523-question-for-blackarrow-to-answer/Instead, he asks for my order number. He asked me previously when he refused to answer my questions because he wanted to confirm that I was indeed a customer. So I gave him my order number to prove I'm a paying customer and for him to address my questions. Instead, the next PM I receive from him says he's cancelling my order. Never did I once ask him to cancel my order. And he still hasn't been back online to see my PMs telling him not to cancel my order and that all I wanted was answers. And now bobsag3 has been ignoring my PMs all day as well. Funny story, huh? To bad you weren't the nice guy that emailed Virisilicon to confirm, along with putting Black Arrow in a good light, otherwise... Oops! My bad! You were that guy. Now, this is truly a funny story.

But taking your marketing skills aside what payment options will you have? What other details can you provide about your chip?
We'll be accepting: Bank Transfer, Western Union, Bitcoin. We're also looking to start accepting debit/credit cards. Amazingly, a viable company that's been selling on the internet for five years needs to figure out how they'll be able to accept debit/credit cards. The truth of the matter is that no bank will now touch them, even recently canceling Alex Sovu's bank account, thus ending the Bank Transfer option.

We've asked everybody not to pay for the products that are not in stock but we still see unhappy customers like you. I guess you cannot make everybody happy whatever you do.
Customers who have placed and paid the orders until now are offered a free upgrade while customers who have placed orders but not yet paid still have 5 days from today to benefit of the free upgrade.
Our Lancelot customers will continue to benefit of the initial prices until 5th of October. We have emailed all Lancelot customers with information on how to use the trade-in program.
We are currently offering 35% discount to customers who pay their order in full and 20% discount to customers who wish to pay 50% in advance and 50% before shipment. After October 2013 we will reduce the discounts gradually until they reach their full retail price which is $415 for Prospero X1 (100Ghash) and $6999 for Prospero X3 (2000Ghash).
Please note that February deliveries are limited because we will produce a limited number of wafers. The remaining orders will need to wait 1 month more until the 2nd batch.
The current discounts and offers are limited. The promotion will stop once we've covered the engineering costs. We do not aim to make any profit on our first batch of ASICs and our sole target is to cover the manufacturing costs. We have funded more than 70% of the NRE from our own funds. We can get the remaining 30% from various investors but we wish to give our customers the opportunity to benefit of low prices while helping us complete this project. Ergo, Black Arrow is not, I repeat, is not garnering payments for product that is not, I repeat, is not in stock. When will "off the shelf" orders be accepted?
From March 2014.

PG, it looks like you're running out of new material here. Why don't you hop on over to the AMT thread? There's a wealth of new dirt to dig up over there!
You sure do know how to get my dick hard, bud. But, I'm still not done squirting my load all over Black Arrow. Dear BlackArrow, paypal payment is accepted?
We do not accept PayPal. If you are concerned about having a protection towards not receiving your order, we would like to ask you to consider Bitcoin escrow. Will you be accepting paypal?
No. We have had bad experience with PayPal few years ago and we promised ourselves not to use them anymore. We accept bank transfer though. It's more reliable and cheaper. After consulting with one of our prospective resellers, who have had more interaction with PayPal than we have, we understood that PayPal’s business model does not fit very well with pre-orders. Because our delivery date is over Paypal’s 90 days delivery threshold, we risk having our PayPal account blocked with all customers’ money in it. If such a thing were to happen this might cause huge delays in deliveries and we want to avoid this at all costs.
Our merchant account with PayPal is currently working but we have decided to suspend all future PayPal transactions for items that are not in stock (pre-orders). We have contacted and are currently talking with PayPal to ensure that they understand our pre-sales agreement and to obtain the guarantee that everything is ok, all security checks are done and our account will remain open.
We will reactivate PayPal payments as soon as we get PayPal’s approval in writing or as soon as we will be able to meet 90 days delivery condition, which means closer to the release date of the Product.
We have also approached various credit card processing vendors. As soon as we find one willing to work with pre-orders, we will be able to process credit/debit cards. However, because this process might take longer than the time required to sell our first ASICs batch, we hope that the absence of the Credit/Debit card process will not stop our customers from placing orders with us.
Orders placed and paid so far with PayPal are safe and we intend to deliver them as promised. However, if any customer changes his mind and wishes to pay with a different payment method or cancel his order, he/she is welcome to do so. Please drop us an email and we will issue a refund as soon as we read your message.
You have promised credit card payment option soon. Is a matter of days or months? I know a person who decided to buy elsewhere just because of CC available there and not here.
We have added 2 hours ago Paypal. Please let us know if you encounter any issues. We're looking into accepting credit cards directly as well, but it might take a while. Regards! These fuckers can't even keep promises they've made to themselves, hence do you believe for one fuckin' minute they'll going to keep promises make you their investomers?

Worth quoting: Hello everybody!
Does anybody know the true identity of this Beaflag individual? Would you be so kind and share it with us?
He has never placed an order with us, we assume that he was set to run away with your money and blame it on us.
His actions so far are consistent with criminal behavior. We strongly recommend that you check his criminal record before sending him any money.
Regards!
I haven't laughed this hard in a long time. Almost everyone who is involved with my group purchase has my personal information; Full name, address, phone number, proof of these items, etc... If they asked I provided the information. You have not done the same. I've asked you to identify yourself multiple time to prove you are not Alexandru Ion Sovu and you refuse. For those not familiar with Alexandru Ion Sovu, here is some information on that individual. Their site: http://www.cardreaderfactory.com/shop/about-us.htmlto find: http://www.cdrex.com/alexandru-ion-sovu/786164.htmlLinked to: http://www.creditgate.com/company_information/cardreaderfactory+ltd.aspxAlexandru Ion Sovu aka international scammer / credit card fraud from Romania. His home was raided in 2003 resulting in his brothers and associates being arrested. Alexandru Ion Sovu was not as he was out of the country at the time: http://www.gov.ro/comunicat-de-presa__l1a15869.htmlTranslated: http://translate.google.com/translate?sl=ro&tl=en&js=n&prev=_t&hl=en&ie=UTF-8&eotf=1&u=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.gov.ro%2Fcomunicat-de-presa__l1a15869.htmlGoogle search of his name: https://www.google.com/search?q=SOVU+ALEXANDRU+ION&ie=utf-8&oe=utf-8&aq=t&rls=org.mozilla:en-US:official&client=firefox-aBlackarrow states that Alexandru Ion Sovu is a reseller based in the UK: This was 10 years ago. Some people change. No matter what were his circumstances back then, Mr. Sovu is our re-seller in UK and has never failed us in 5 years since we work with him. We gave him credit, and always repaid us without any issues. Mr. Sovu is a great gentleman and one of the most honest people we know." Please, elaborate on, "Criminal behavior," as all I've done is ask you questions? You asked me: We take great pride in the way we conduct business. Please let us know why and how we've failed you and we'll try to address your issue. It's a pity that you've canceled 163 units, we're just finishing 50pcs and starting to make 225pcs (ready by early next week).
Regards!
I answered how you have failed us, asked you some questions about why you made the decisions you made, and the responses I've taken as a result of your actions. Please see the conversation below. Blackarrow removed all of his responses to my posts, but I have them saved. PS: Anyone who wants to check my criminal record go for it. All you'll find are some speeding tickets.

One of Black Arrow's deleted post of which I had to reconstruct, and is verifiable. This was 10 years ago. Some people change. No matter what were his circumstances back then, Mr. Sovu is our re-seller in UK and has never failed us in 5 years since we work with him. We gave him credit, and always repaid us without any issues. Mr. Sovu is a great gentleman and one of the most honest people we know. Black Arrow trust Alex Sovu so much, that all bank wire transfers were directed toward Alex's bank account until it was shut down. To this day, Black Arrow will not confirm that he is Alex Sovu or Alex Berk, both registered as owners of BBYTE LTD.

Apologies for quoting myself, but something needed to be added, highlighted in... I'm going for ORANGE this time. PG and OleOle, do you even have orders with Black Arrow?
If not, doesn't make sense to spam these threads.
I won't admit to trolling, but I have to agree with you that I am spamming this thread. Reason? Because it's warranted. Using your logic, nobody who doesn't have an order with an entity that is hawking a product should be allowed to hoot their concerns, even when concerns are warranted. That said... BByte LTD is our reseller in UK. Please read this page: http://www.cardreaderfactory.com/shop/about-us.htmlyet the website says british virgin islands (same company), googled the phone number from this website, got to http://www.qype.co.uk/place/2563381-CardReaderFactory-Reading ? Now a web design company works on the same phone number, for a company, with the same domain / name as a company in Virgin Islands, and I still dont quite understand the post above. All the customers are dealing with Merlion Holdings (BVI) and Black Arrow has a contract with Merlion to supply the merchandise. Merlion is not affiliated with BByte LTD from UK. http://www.cardreaderfactory.com/terms-and-conditions.html?sl=en12. Our details

BByte Ltd is incorporated in Hong Kong, S.A.R. of P.R.C. In case you're out, here's some alpaca wool to cover your eyes: Amazing... This is the last question I'm answering on this topic. Please do your proper checks in the future. Please use the government's official website: http://www.companieshouse.gov.ukCardReaderFactory is a trading name, is not a company. BByte LTD is the company in UK. (company number 07035674). CardReaderFactory LTD company's number is 08125672, not 03016878. This was created only to protect the name; don't expect to get invoices from this company. Once again, we are NOT based in the UK. This proves one thing: You can see from that the message that it was sent in 2009. You can also check that BByte LTD has been funded in 2009 (companieshouse.gov.uk) and Black Arrow LTD in 2010 in Hong Kong. We've been on the market for 5 years and we're still here. We manufacture and design electronics and we're very good at it. Regards! Yet, is unable to accept Credit Card payments, siting issues with banks.
