I suspect the DZMC people are good at what they do, however customer service and public relations is not what they do.
clearly... when you push back with questions, the thread becomes ghost town again... To one of your other posts, I don't see where I am coming off as defensive I simply answered you the best I could by quoting a post that was made 2 days earlier that quoted how to request and when you could expect the refund to appear. We all have day jobs which prevents us from being heavily active on the forums during the day, I don't believe anyone is expecting an answer to a question right as its posted. You continue to ask the same question and every time receive the same answer refunds can take up to 1.5 weeks. We being DZ, Tom, Matt... Okay, maybe not Matt. Come to think of it, DEFINITELY NOT MATT. Overseeing his Colorado farm with his partner and them six now qualified new employees is Matt's full time job, otherwise he wouldn't have employees, as he has referred them six as. And to think that this is only R17. I have a funny feeling that there ain't going be too many more R's in the making, in spite of this DZMC enterprise being supported by an Oil Tycoon and that Sandwich Podcast Guy.

This really reminds me of the Kid who is a fry cook at McDonalds and on his Resume puts HEAD CHEF
I have a nephew like that. His last job was dishwasher, but bragged about how the chef asked him for advice. Two weeks later when he got his first check, he smoked it up, then quit, just like he did with every single job he's ever had for the past six years. Once, he held onto a job for almost two months, but I later learnt it was only because one of his fellow co-workers supplied him, along with them both ripping off the joint. The son of a bitch even once ripped off his own mother, taking a hundred dollars outta her purse, then denied it, although he was the only other person in the other room at the time.

I would also like an update on where we are at with hiring that dedicated PR person? Almost every question I have asked has been ignored in the last couple of weeks, so I pose the refund question again...
Nostradamus (ya really!) has predicted that the reply (if there ever is one) is one of the following: a) The PR guy has taken sick and/or declined the job offer b) The PR guy is away celebrating the Schamayan New Year c) The PR guy has been hired and is in training, which will take a few daeeks (great stalling option) d) The PR guy is actually a PR girl Please note that the option that a PR person has or will not be hired is not available. A plug and play open source forum in Node.js might actually be worth $1 million dollars. Most of the widely used forums today are built in PHP so this could be just as big for Node.js as it is for the forum. Additionally, if this code is open source and integrates with BTC, it has wider applications.
*Puts on his tinfoil hat*
Since Augusto and Goat aren't directly saying it, I'll just be blunt so folks know why there is some flak about spending the money...
Federal (specifically DoD, but others as well) projects often come with an NDA for the developers to not share government work in their portfolios. Whenever I hear someone talk about NDAs, I assume government work. Given that this is going to be an open source forum that has some form of BTC and Trust integration, it would likely be highly valuable to various entities within Darknets as well. If designed intentionally with exploits in the open source version that are patched in the live version, an aspiring three-letter agency could use the success of a Node.js forum to promote adoption in some of these remoter areas of the web. Then, at a specified integration-point, they could exploit said software causing turmoil for hapless Darknet administrators.
*Takes tinfoil hat off*
Regardless of whoever is designing this software, security should be the primary focus or else you're going to get some really bad (and IMHO, quite-deserved) flak. I'd highly recommend keeping the existing security bounties and possibly even integrating or accounting for them during development of the project.
I feel the same about Node as well and I spent a long time a little over 2 years ago getting into Node and had great success with the technology in many situations. I'd like to add that I've never done NDA government work and security is very high priority in what we're doing. Oh yeah... I'm not John K and I haven't been given access to the database yet but will need it very soon. We will follow standard ethics for private data and not transmit information to the public. This will indeed be the highest of priorities. AH HA! Caught you! You forgot the period after the K, thus you could still be John K.. Seriously, thanks for taking the time in addressing my concern. BTW, get yourself a bigger pad, for I've seen bedrooms larger than where you live. Later, bud. ~Bruno Kucinskas

I decided to test market opinion of BA and see how the market currently views the price and image of BA by listing one of my units for sell in the good section. I have very good rep and believe that anyone would have full confidence that I would hold up my end of a deal, so any offers would be considered solely market view of BA. After more than 24 hours I have not had a single offer or inquiry on my offer. I even included the compensation package as part of the deal, and still no one seems to want it. I did not put a price up, but instead asked for offers for my device. So what does this tell us? Well I will let everyone form their own opinion, but I have come up with 2 options... 1) There is no market for the BA device, which is sad because we are still over 2 months away from it being launched or, 2) No one has faith that BA will deliver. In either case I would say the outcome is not good, so I reiterate my question, how are refunds going to be handled?
I don't read the Goods section, but what are you selling? If it's an X-1, and you can get Black Arrow to transfer it to me, then I would be interested. I can't afford an X-3 right now though. Its actually an X-3, but I have an X-1, time to find out what its worth. Make me an offer on it... I imagine I could offer you the amount that you paid in BTC for it originally. If you bought it in November, I imagine it would have been about 3.5 bitcoins. Of course I don't know when you bought it. Do you think that's a fair price? Don't forget, there's a 0% quadruple-vetted reseller fee that I'm entitled to due to bringing you two together.

Phinnaeus Gage, you said someone visited the Chinese plant. Who? Can you show me the thread or proof?
Here it is, bud. BTW, bobsag3 is Matt Carson. So nothing of the 28nm tech other than a FPGA simulator? What else would you expect? Its pretty public that the chip is still in development, and that they wont have the chips until Jan/Feb. Wishful thinking on my part then Thanks for the pics

Ok, we seem to be getting away from BA and the topic of this thread a bit. We should be receiving an update in the next day or two about what has happened in the last week. I would also like an update on where we are at with hiring that dedicated PR person? Almost every question I have asked has been ignored in the last couple of weeks, so I pose the refund question again...
BA has stated that they will not give out refunds to those who ask for them, instead they will pool everyone who wants one and see if they can cover it with available funds. When is the cutoff deadline to decide if we can be considered for a refund? How are you going to handle the fact that since your affiliate (aka MinerSource) is incorporated under U.S. law, is required to give refunds if asked? Minersource has stated (only in PM's) that they will refund out of their overhead, but I doubt that will be enough for everyone seeking a refund. Will this be addressed at all?
I decided to test market opinion of BA and see how the market currently views the price and image of BA by listing one of my units for sell in the good section. I see you're having trouble test selling your Bad Ass BA. Perhaps, I could be of assistance. You see, one does not merely test the market conditions of a BA product on their own accord. One MUST use the services of a reseller. Luckily, I, being the first ever quadruple-vetted Bitcoiner in the world, would more than happily act as the official reseller of any BA products purchased through a reseller. And do it for free, to boot, albeit I may complain about working for free periodically, but that's what a guy who's financially stable should do. Meanwhile, down at the farm, my side venture, the seedlings are all looking beautiful. For those who've GB into my other side venture, I'm happy to state that that 24/7/365/60/-pie operation is well maintain by the six seasoned pros I've hire last year in The Show Me State and moved them to The Grow Me State.

Eh ... I think there are some BTC logos founded @ Egipt inside of piramids I smell conspiracy theories can you prove what are you saying ? or you just assume that ? cuz i would rly like to know it is true look! We can cleary see in the line where BTC is visible, from left we see a bird, symbol of fast transfer - from man to another man. Below the bird we indeed see an ancient symbol of globe, global - worldwide. Then we see symbols "knife" "water" "user" - that we can see a user sending bitcoins ( he send them to a bird ), symbol of knife means "sha256", symbol of security. After those we see a Bitcoin logo - we know it and after logo we see miners at work and other unknown yet symbols. Ancient people knew whats comming. Probably! Just probably, inside of a piramid somewhere deep we will find a private key from Ra wallet. Forget Egipt. If they would create BTC in 80's I just guess that world now would be something much better. This is totally sacrilegious! No other symbols should be juxtaposed with any Bitcoin logo.

I know of a man in Vegas that's not afraid of anything unless it has eight legs and comes within 20 feet of feet, whereupon his neck cramps up and he starts to shake all over.
Myself, watching people walk on that glass thingy at the Grand Canyon on YouTube freaks me out, but actually walking on it doesn't. Likewise, building and climbing a ten-section scaffold doesn't bothering me, but watching somebody do it on a screen freaks my ass out.

Junk philosophy. The amount of power a computer would need to calculate every single human thought and action in a simulation, let alone the trajectories and properties of every object and atom in the universe, is incomprehensible.
Maybe god has a really fast computer? Read this book three times.

Whats up with your obsession with bobsags smoking? People smoke.
I wouldn't care if he was smoking meth as long as he provides a good service and does what he says.
Nevermind! I just received the memo reading that it's perfectly fine for a double-vetted hasher to hash away on other people's equipment, photographing said hash equipment juxtaposed with a private list of contacts on Skype, along with a hash pipe on the floor, especially if one's a vetted reseller (guess I won't be the first triple-vetted Bitcoiner) of Black Arrow. I've already shown that Matt Carson hasn't done what he said. Do I need to re-quote the posts stating he updated the wiring in facility one, then did the same for facility two, all the while there was only one facility in Missouri, or are you ready to concede that fact?

Seeing that nobody else has asked it, I guess I will. wangbus, are you John K.? Also, since you are Staff, thus allowed to peruse the entire forum's back-end database due to you needing to know what this one encompasses so to better build the next one, do you have access to our private PMs? If you don't, get it, for there's a wealth of information that could be gleaned there to augment a $1M USD payday. ~TMI BTCITW PS: I devised a formula to determine the "intrinsic value" of this forum: IV = IV/F x F in which IV stands for intrinsic value and F represents BitcoinTalk. Somebody check my maths please, for I'm prone to errors after eating an entire 16" pizza from Rosati's (or sometimes on an empty stomach).
