Always about Edward, one might find this interesting: Pre-tweet from Senior de Casto Two things: Senior, as in spanish for Mister, and de Casto and not deCastro. You might also have noted that one of our recent suckpoppets, santaMuerte (holy death, always spanish), has written Edward's name in at least three different ways. It's either a message, a way to fool us, or the guys is dyslexic, i don't know. I'm sure Ed de Castro used his real name for the patent office. http://patents.justia.com/inventor/simon-barberType: Grant Filed: May 5, 2003 Issued: June 3, 2008 Assignee: Broadcom Corporation Inventors: Simon Barber, Roy Petruschka, Edward Rodriguez de Castro

Ok, sorry. Speaking of Erin - any idea of who Erin is?
Asking for help from Bruno if he can. For example, every other person associated with hashfast that wrote on their blog has their full name and surname, not Erin, that is called "Erin HashFast" on their blog. http://hashfast.com/author/erin/It's not on linkedin, either. It looks like some kind of fake account with no real person behind it, or someone that cared about his privacy - an investor maybe? Took me 30 seconds (maybe 45): http://workpetaluma.com/people/erin/Hello! Working out of two fantastic co-working spaces; WORK in Petaluma and NextSpace Potrero Hill. Should you wish for any information regarding Bitcoins, Bitcoin Mining or the best in ASIC chip development – Please feel free to reach out!

Your amount of refund will be the same as the USD amount shown below and in your order confirmation. Our products were purchased based on the purchase price stated in USD. We accepted payment in Bitcoin and other currencies as a convenience to our customers. For the great majority of our Batch 1 customers, we never received Bitcoin, but instead received USD from our payment processor, BitPay, and used the money to pay our suppliers and costs. Most early customers received a preferable exchange rate that reduced our revenue by 8%-10%. We also have customers that have paid in Bitcoin when the exchange rate was far higher than it is today, so our approach to providing refunds in USD is not a policy designed only to benefit us.
Didn't they provide a bitcoin address for some customers to send direct bitcoin payments not using BitPay? cedivad (or others who will sue their asses) don't forget to tell that to a judge. I don't know how many paid using BitPay, but i'm sure that not all batch 1 customers did it. I paid with a direct BTC address, not bitpay. And, don't forget that one can set up their BitPay transactions to go to another wallet oppose to having the funds converted to fiat then deposited into their bank account. Why an entity may opt to pay the small BitPay fee to do such is because of the ease of the interface. Also, it makes the buyer feel more comfortable, i.e. in HashFast's case, if such is the case, of which I have reason to believe happened. In fact, one can turn on and off the option on a wimb depending on where they desire the funds to go, including changing the final bitcoin wallet address (not the receiving address set by BitPay of which is only good for 15 minutes).

Cedivad, I don't suppose you are willing to relinquish hashfast.org so we can loosen up the editorial control a little bit?
I want a site dedicated to Hashfast that is factual and "non-defamatory" too. But unlike you, I see lots of ability to post the kinds of things I am researching, and things that Phinnaeus is turning up.* These things are not defamatory or libelous in the United States, since they are demonstrable and documentable (and often unpleasant) public facts about the Hashfast people.
I don't want to take on the whole project, but I can contribute parts. There are a couple other possible domains I see...
* In Phinnaeus' case we'll have to tone down the homophobic bit and make sure it's just stuff we *know* and don't merely suspect, but there's some good material there. From what I can tell, Long Dong does indeed appear to have been involved in prostitution, and Scrotum's involvement in selling pretty abusive and distateful pron is absolutely irrefutable.
To be clear, I'm not homophobic, but will tone down nonetheless. I may make fun of a myriad of demographics, but it's only for humor purposes and truly mean no harm. That said, I'm trying to bring to the table anything relative that might support claims against HashFast and their principles due to the way they've conducted themselves. WAKE UP! They knew they won't going to ship. They waited to see how clever there consumers going to be, and when they found out. Well let's just say they found the cash from somewhere To fund the attorney.

HashFast had many opportunities to fix things, yet they decided to keep digging a deeper and deeper hole.
The lawsuit we saw today is likely just the start and I would not be surprised to see this company become insolvent as customers are forced to take the legal route now and try to salvage what they can before it is too late. I.e. it is not just Batch 1 customers that are f*cked but all batches.
Your right (IMO) The wheels have officially fallen off at HashFast. They have openly declared they want their customers to basically take a ~90%~ deduction on their BitCoin Payments. Now they are even reducing the time (arbitrarily) for customers to request a refund. Folks, this is what a company looks like when they are openly bluffing in the hopes that your too stupid to see the pink elephant in the room. They are hella' screwed. Call their bluff and lets see what happens. "The wheels on the barrow go round and round..."

They promised that there would be an independent DIY community at the time, but no technical specifications of the chip has been released which would be a pre-requisite. Plans are being made to jumpstart the HashFast FOSS/FOSH ecosystem. Watch this space... If the MPP is triggered there will be a healthy market for raw GN chips and assembly services. I know how badly Avalon burned the DIY community, but don't worry, the adults have arrived! So when can we expect more info on this front? Hopefully before November? I'm having trouble figuring out who's who in this tangled mess.

I don't get it. Why is this fun? Not sure, but two women did volunteer to reenact the joke on Off-Broadway.

My bet is insider trading on the arrest of a manipulator in China. The real dumping hasn't even begun.
The cringingly obvious attempts to spread FUD from the perma bears on this thread is awful. Please sell so Walsoraj can buy back at a lower level! So the price has gone back to where it was 48 hours ago. Big deal? After such an uptick it was obvious prices would correct down again. Reading this thread is like watching a manic depressive who forgot to take their tablets! It's a capsule. It's a motherfuckin' capsule! And thanks for reminding me.
