added an rpcallowip for 127.0.0.1, ran curl command and got this back.
curl: (6) Could not resolve host: 1.0, curl: (6) Could not resolve host: id curl: (6) Could not resolve host: method curl: (6) Could not resolve host: walletpassphrase, curl: (6) Could not resolve host: params curl: (3) [globbing] bad range in column 6 curl: (6) Could not resolve host: 99999, curl: (3) [globbing] unmatched close brace/bracket in column 5 curl: (3) [globbing] unmatched close brace/bracket in column 1 curl: (6) Could not resolve host: text {"result":null,"error":{"code":-32700,"message":"Parse error"},"id":null}
would have to see the curl command to see what you requested

Got CURL installed, seems to run ok but failing on the commands. Wana ask somethin first, does the "ip" 127.0.0.1 or would that be say the internal ip of 192.x.x.x I should be using instead ?
127.0.0.1 is the ip address for the host you're on. It's called 'localhost'. So when you see that as a limit, it means that ONLY the local host (ie the computer the application is running ) is allowed to talk to this service. So in this case, it means that if you're running in server mode, only a request from the local PC can ask questions of the server node. It's like they say.. 127.0.0.1 is where the heart is... cheers, baldpope Conversely, if you were to put in any other address, it would mean that a remote client (not of the same machine) could talk with the server instance. Not necessarily bad, but you have to ensure your wallet is protected. Basically the computer that will be running the CURL command is the same one the nodes on, so I would leave it as the local host address of 127.0.0.1 right ? Also, what about an rpcallowip= in the config, wont that be needed as well ? whatever you decide to put in for that directive will be the whitelist of clients allowed to connect to the wallet, so I'd keep it at 127.0.0.1 - but it's your call.

igotspots dude ive been pointed in your direction, been staking mmxiv for the last few months and not been keeping up, have around 203mmxiv in local wallet and had 65 on bittrex seems ive lost those, please can you let me know how i exchange my mmxiv for bucks please I have the same situation with teeth, spots does not care im hoping that is not the case, i was refereed onto igotspots in irc saying they can and would help me out, im living in hope i didnt waste a small fortune before polo removed them The original post had swap instructions, but the short of it is that you need to provide IGotSpots with your private key for the MMXIV wallet holding your coins, your new GorillaBucks wallet ID .. Here: Coin: MMXIV Key: <private key of your wallet holding coins> Address: <new gorillabucks address from new wallet> Send that information to swap@gorillastake.com with a subject of coin swap IGS took a snapshot of the blockchain as it was on whatever date and will convert that number of coins to BUCKS. hth -baldpope

Will be updating the entire list soon, but this may calm down the recent requests for certain items until I can jump in the inventory system and type it here.
So real quickly: ______________________ 2x Zeus Hurricanes 15MH/s 2x 700W or higher PSU's 2x Antminer ATX switches
Sold to baldpope with devthedev as escrow.
Confirmed that all parts are in good working condition. Good communication from RaginglikeaBoss and devthedev provides good escrow service as usual.

Like most people. Avoid I Got Spots.
Not sure if you're implying to stay away from me or IGotSpots (and BUCKS). Either way, I'm putting this out there to just show how well Gorillabands perform as an investment. I had a few hundred MMXIV that ultimately staked into about 60K MMXIV. That's now converted (and granted, I don't know how much 'value' I place in BUCKS specifically) but I like the idea of Gorillabands (just like Darkcoins darksend nodes), and that is what I want to support. There are people who believe in IGS and his coins and there are plenty of people who don't. That said, the coin exists and people are using it.

for those interested, I'm debating hosting both a co-op master node and a hosted master node.
In the Co-Op MN agreement, we'll need 10 groups of 500ea to host a shared MN, payouts will be monthly and evenly distributed to the co-op members. If there is enough interest, we can do multiple co-ops each with their own 10 members.
For the straight hosted MN, you'll provide 100% of the 5K BUCKs needed for deposit and a % of the dividends will be paid back to me for hosting.
If you're interested, let me know, also check out my reputation and trust info. Please hit me up with any questions.

Just wanted to let everyone know that the first (that I know of) Gorillabuck Gorillaband Co-Op is now active. I created a new thread and will report daily earnings along with any Q&A that arises from the thread. You can follow the new thread here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1107588.msg11778147#msg11778147 Cheers, baldpope

reserved for daily payout/return updates.
Not sure if this is typical or not, but received the first payout for the Gorillaband within the first hour of operation. Received 2BUCKS as payment. Very cool and quick on the return.
The first 24hr period is complete, and I'll start logging the results here:
2015-07-03 - 17 BUCKS 2015-07-04 - 23.5 BUCKS 2015-07-05 - 29.5 BUCKS 2015-07-06 - 21.5 BUCKS 2015-07-07 - 10.5 BUCKS 2015-07-08 - 25.5 BUCKS 2015-07-09 - 59.5 BUCKS 2015-07-10 - 21.5 BUCKS 2015-07-11 - 34.5 BUCKS 2015-07-12 - 19 BUCKS 2015-07-13 - 26.5 BUCKS 2015-07-14 - 31 BUCKS 2015-07-15 - 68.5 BUCKS 2015-07-16 - 27.5 BUCKS 2015-07-16 - 27.5 BUCKS 2015-07-24 - 20 BUCKS 2015-07-25 - 33 BUCKS 2015-07-26 - 24.5 BUCKS 2015-07-27 - 21 BUCKS 2015-07-28 - 51 BUCKS 2015-07-29 - 26 BUCKS 2015-07-30 - 28.5 BUCKS 2015-07-31 - 12.5 BUCKS

Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / GorillaBucks 1st Co-Op GorillaBand Node
|
on: July 03, 2015, 05:23:17 AM

Earlier in the week I posted an offer to host a co-op Gorillaband for the GorillaBucks coin. I want to keep an open and honest running tally of the results of running a Gorillaband as well as invite discussion into the merits of running a Gorillaband (in comparison to just staking the same 5K coins). The initial posting for the invitation into the co-op is posted here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1059159.msg11749802#msg11749802Fortunately we had a few takers, though as of this posting I haven't received authorization to share who the members are. That said, I would mention that IGotSpots was interested in getting the first co-op off the ground and is invested more than 50% into this particular instance. I received the last deposit at around 11:40pm (local time) and brought the Gorillaband node online around midnight. With that said and now that it's active, I'll report back at least daily on the return of the Gorillaband. If there are any questions regarding this topic, please feel free to ask. Cheers, baldpope

I've had a couple of questions about people buying more than 1 share and the answer is yes. If you'd like to buy more than 1 share, you can do so with each co-op share being reserved for 500BUCKS

yea, adding Google 2FA (rather one-time-password) option really makes sense. Google makes it relatively easy to implement depending on your back-end.
anyway - consider this my +1 for 2fa
