2122  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: [WTS] 3x batch 3 3 and 4 module avalon miners on: July 28, 2014, 09:15:02 AM
........ these things are heavy since the cases are made from thick aluminum and the heatsinks are beastly solid aluminum so they add weight to the miners for sure.

Avalon Patch1 case weighs only 4.3 kg , that's the only valuable thing. I stripped down three working Avalon.
At My electricity price  they took more power, than earned back.

.... And where shipping from?

Pay for an empty housing 20.- euro plus shipping , when in EU.
2123  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: IN STOCK * Yiazo YBF Bitfury miner 30 up to 380GH/s * 75 EURO on: July 28, 2014, 08:30:53 AM

Contact form works and we always reply the same day or next day at the latest. I am sorry to hear you can't get in contact with us. Please send an email to info@yiazo.com and I have send you a PM.

Now it is no longer necessary.
I can again buy Antminer S3, which I have done.

8.09575 BTC spent - 5292GH/s in hand & running NOW
..........

Is the answer  12x Antminer S3 ? (Then you must also consider the price of power supplies)
2125  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Antminer S3 PSU question on: July 27, 2014, 09:33:07 PM
I recommend the EVGA 1300 G2.  It has 6 PCI-e cables with a total of 8 PCI-e connectors (2 of the cables are doubles).  You can easily power 3 S3s at stock clocks with it.  If you under clock and under volt your S3 (not sure if the pencil mod trick works on these like it did the S1) and can get them to around 275 - 300W each, then that same PSU will drive 4 units.

Can Seasonic SS-1250XM run 3 non overclocked S3 Antminers  without problems?

very funny
Their website does not have an email address, or telephone.
There is another big joke - Contact Us   http://yiazo.com/contact-us/

Waiting for a response from them shipping cost about a week.   Or  response at all.
I want to buy for the company with a valid VAT number, it is not possible via the website.

2128  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: use vps bitcoin mining on: July 27, 2014, 09:12:02 AM

How the heck do you have enough power for nearly 20 th/s out of your home? That's likely near 200A!

I'm in Europe. My main circuit breaker is three-phase 220V x 40A   120A Total

I bought Digital Multimeter KYORITSU KEY MATE Model:2000  http://www.kew-ltd.co.jp/en/products/multimeters/2000.html  and now i know, I use a continuous  38-42A at each phase,   because a fan cools the main fuse, before the electricity measurer.

The purchase more 3x10A will cost in my country 1400 euro. So I got to thinking creatively, and cools the main fuse.
The next fuse  is  3x50A and cooling is not needed.

We can buy a single household  not more than 3x 64A. One additional amp will cost about 140 euros.

Hi I'm Mohammadreza I'm From Iran And Glad To Be There.
I Have Questions:
.............
...............
.................
Which One Is Better For Bitcoin Mining?
Can I Make 1 Bitcoin A Day At least?
If You Have Any Idea I Glad To Share With Me.
................

You need to buy Asik miners.  Need  at least 43 TH/s.  to obtain 1 BTC day.
I mine 0.5 BTC day in my home .

2131  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [Guide] Dogie's Comprehensive Bitmain AntMiner S2 Setup [HD] on: July 25, 2014, 01:18:47 PM
I've seen some estemints that the S1 would be reach its usefulness in November, "meaning it would cost more in power then it could make in a day" … Has anyone seen any estaminets on the S2 ? I know that it somewhat depends on what you pay per kilowatt , but thought there might be a ball park figure… The S2 is under volted in contrast to the S1 so per GHs it draws less power..

I am trying to figure out if and when Bitmain comes out with an upgrade kit to the new less power hungry chip would it be a good idea to make the change. I don't see the point in jumping right on the upgrade train if the S2 in its current state is making money and how far past ROI it is ..

One S2   1TH/s  mine today 0.025BTC
1Kw/h x 24 = 24KW/h  one day
the price of electricity  for S2 one day in my  sountry  is 2,64 EUR

0.025BTC  x 400EUR = 10EUR    Profit 7.34 eur  I currently have a 20 TH/s  20x7,34=
146 EURO profit  in one day   when I would sell BTC , but I do not sell BTC

I hope that the next level of difficulty give me a the same total profit, regardless one S2 miner will then have less of BTC.
Yesterday I bought a 5 AntminerS3  and DHL will bring me one Set of btcgarden-AM-V1 next week. Together  2.8 TH/s   costs 4.25BTC . So I invested BTC in miner.

2132  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: btcgarden-AM-v1 only $0.85/GHs 1.045w/GHs. In stock for international selling! on: July 25, 2014, 12:28:25 PM
Placed an "in stock" order Monday and I still see no tracking number in my account as of today Friday.

Is this normal??? Huh Huh Huh

No. I ordered July 21 and I have a DHL tracking number.

The price is already 0.2 BTC higher.

and only 0.0025 cheaper than Batch3
0.725- 10% = 0.6525BTC

Can it perhaps a little more to raise ?  0.8 BTC  would be even better.
I wanted to buy 6 pcs, but I do not buy none.

I look forward to a more realistic price that can not be increased every two hours.

2138  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [Guide] Dogie's Comprehensive Bitmain AntMiner S2 Setup [HD] on: July 23, 2014, 02:58:21 PM

my understanding that you should NOT just burn the image to microSD, instead you have to make the SD bootable, which is a process that takes 20-30 min-see bottom of page 86 on the main S2 thread for EXACT instructions. I did it and bootable microSD 'worked", but you will have to replace pools and also remove known_hosts file (for ssh access) as discussed on this thread.

Can you provide a link to the main S2 thread?
