Cryptocurrency holds a lot of promise for all of us including the freedom from the abuses and control of the current financial system we are in. Of course, to many cryptocurrency can also mean financial freedom. Human nature has this dark side and that is the tendency to abuse the power given unto us...this is quite true with the banking system and the current global financial system we are in. However, sad to say, the same tendency is slowly creeping in to the cryptocurrency industry and this is something we as a whole should try to stop as this can be an insult and a travesty.
I completely agree with this. As much as cryptocurrencies now abound with many springing up each day, abuse, scams a s human tendencies also increase daily. Crypto gives freedom and some form of investment but are all cryptos safe? I know for once that some crytpo projects have no use case or product. They're just there to raise funds list on a useless Exchange and disappear with investors funds. Those project must be avoided. You are totally correct, but how can we avoid these scam projects? |

Stay away from random ICOs is a hell of advice! Did you know guys that 80% of 2017-2018 ICOs turned out to be nothing but scam? So I will stick to veteran coins, one of my favs is Ripple. With the way things are going (like a good deal of positive news especially on adoption of bitcoin by some famous merchants and the overall rosy market sentiment enveloping the whole industry right now), I would not be surprised if at the end of the year we can be nearing $15,000. I can be daring to say that it can go beyond $20,000 but maybe that can be too much. This is assuming that no big negative development can derail the bitcoin train. always good news to see big names accepting bitcoins maybe this is one of the reason we are seeing so much price growth it wil lsurely increase mass adoption and awareness and can snowball the whole cryptomarket to the moon Lightning network makes it much easier to send many transactions and overcome this major bitcoin's bottleneck - transactions per second where VISA nad Mastercard beat bitcoin times 10.000x in transaction numbers, hope this will change and we will see prices in satoshi in our local convenience shops soon  I agree!! Bitcoin will be around for the rest of our lives, so to be honest this question is somewhat irrelevant. Unless some super-secret quantum computer suddenly unleashes a vicious attack, bitcoin will be safe - and even then it can be forked. Bitcoin won't die.
