I was also thinking of starting a ZA pool but, quite frankly, I'm glad someone beat me to it.
I'm also from ZA and will probably move my miners over to your pool this weekend.

I don't think there's any "real" newbie community.
We are all part of the larger bitcoin community, with the only difference being that we have to wait for our n00b status to be lost before we can post in the other sections.  Cool

Having said that, I've been mining long before I even created an account on the Bitcoin forums.  Grin

While it's understandable to have scammers / con-artists in any market, I do still find it quite surprising to see the amount of people that have fallen victim to these scams, especially since use of Bitcoins does require a (tiny) bit of technical knowledge.

I assume that you are begging for 1000 bitcoins.  Shocked

Considering that the value of bitcoins has increased signifcantly over the past few months, I suggest you stop begging and start working (for bitcoins).
