My small rig is stopped for now. 1 gh less in the network ... will not change anything.

I will carefully review BTC price, if it's going up again (depend on diff) I will mine again... I will not use time with altcoins.

I will continue mining until i get 0.5 BTC ...I'm at 0.4 for now ...

it will be not profitable in  about 2 days if nothing change on the BTC price ...

I'm will not mine altcoin, but I will buy BTC on exchanges if price range stays as for now.

Ok, due to recent BTC price rise , GPU mining is still profitable, will check again next diff change ...

power price raise by 5% in France in august, if BTC price remain stable, I will power off at least end of july.

Due to the new difficulty coming in 2 days, my mining rig (3 x 5830) will cost more power as BTC revenue.

Power consumption of the 3 cards 300 Wh ( about 35 euros / month)
With about 900 Mh I get (now!!!) 0.7 BTC /month = 60 euros *0.7 = 42 euros.

It looks like it was a bug in Bitcoin software ... see message from slush pool "21.05.2013
Bug in bitcoind caused many invalid blocks generated in recent hours. Thanks to cooperation with bitcoin developers, a bugfix has been deployed. Pool is now back in normal operation."

You just burned electric power for nothing ...

This is also the problem of the Pool managers (generally young people ...) They roll rapidly new software build and forget the good old sentence (if it's not broken, don't fix it)

I still have my 3 (!) Pc's not working well with stratum, and running nicely with getwork...

as I have no time to find out what is the culprit (OS, Drivers, miner, you name it) ... I will stay on getwork so long I'm allowed to use it!

I'm using 3 sapphire 5830 since two years ... using the same fan without problems...

providing 300 mh/s each with temp steady at 75 deg C... I can push more but with more power consumption, and temp going hight ...

there is no value having the best hashrate ... for 3 months ...

I'm mining with 3*5830 giving about 900 Mh/s ...

I have seen my account getting 50 BTC by this bug ... I just waited that my account came back to his normal state ...

sad to see that the users overpaid, don't want to give back ...

I put one of my cards on the donate user (sorry just 300 Mh/s)...

It's working nicely with my configuration, each time i'm trying stratum, my pc's stops mining randomly ... i'm tired playing around with fixes and releases, when everything is fine with getwork ...
