Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Has Been Profitable for More Than 94% of its Existence

Bitcoin is still young but it seems the success story far outweighs the age of this amazing cryptocurrency. Recently, I read an article that proves that anyone who bought the same amount of bitcoin in each week in any year since bitcoin's introduction would still make profit on his/her holdings. From all statistics available, it shows clearly that bitcoin is the best digital currency ever to be developed.

The future certainly looks bright with a lot of possibilities. I wont be surprise to see many people making use of cryptocurrencies and especially bitcoin for daily business transactions. By the way with regards to OP It's good to get your facts right, I don't believe many people in Zimbabwe makes use of bitcoin or any other cryptocurrency for their daily transactions.

There is always that great feeling when I see that sign that reads; "bitcoin is accepted here" in any shop. Personally I always try to add more value to bitcoin as I use it as a mode of payment for goods and services among friends who are into cryptocurrencies. At least, bitcoin is still gaining prominence across the globe as many brands are becoming to accept bitcoin as a currency for business transactions.

Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I just dumped my IOTAs

Is good i think that you not wait more and dump it, if the devs have this behaviour then the coin can't have any success in long time, i think they made the coin just to get they some money from if possible.
Why dump so early, it is better to hodl than to sell for a penny. You are likely to regret in the very near future. From experience, unless you need to sell a particular coin after it has failed to achieve any potential after a long period of hoping for the best. Never sell for a penny and regret later.

Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Reality of tokens

People are mostly moved by hype and what they see trending on social media. The same way goes with tokens that created by most projects. By now, it is obvious that most people are into crypto mainly for the money and not the beauty of blockchain technology. This simply explain why people are easily lured or scammed by cheap tokens.

It is always very important to do a little bit of background check before putting your hard earned money in any project. There are many projects out there that promises great returns to investors but they don't usually end up fulfilling their promise. Sometimes experience is very key, try and consult your close associates who have invested who are more experienced in this field.

Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Earning Interest with Bitcoin?

There are many ventures out there that are offering lending service to crypto enthusiasts. I believe the exchanges like binance and poloniex are the best avenues to lend your bitcoin to and in return you can earn some bucks since the exchanges can be trusted than most of the websites that are likely to be scam.

The future certainly looks exciting for ethereum, I believe we are just in the process where every altcoin enthusiast must trust the power of ethereum. In the near very future, ethereum would be able to mount more pressure on the current dominance of bitcoin.

Great point, at least am challenged to do more to prevent scammers from destroying the reputation of the world of cryptocurrencies. Sometimes is just frustrating that after all efforts to fight against scams, inexperienced people or novice end up being victims. Scam would always be with us, but with a good will we can help minimize it.
