I would love to start mining but a little confused with the stratum
-o stratum+tcp://eu.blockmasters.co:<PORT> -u <WALLET_ADDRESS> [-p <OPTIONS>]
port for script?
which wallet should i use
and which are the options for password

thank you !!

The port for scrypt is 3433, and Block answered with password arguments a couple of posts back up.  .  The easiest is just  "-p c=LTC" if you are using a LTC wallet. As for wallet, I use a Ledger Nano.  A quick easy one would be Coinbase.  That's where I withdraw to because its super easy to convert to cash.

bfgminer.exe --scrypt -o stratum+tcp://eu.blockmasters.co:3433 -u DRiGRbFGaX8sNBBiDP9hbezR1vsEDSbf8W -p doge  -S MLD:all --set MLD:clock=600
pause

 Grin

ah! are your running Moonlanders!?

Yes 4 of them

Grin Sweetness, I just dusted mine off.  Hadn't tried here yet, but just gave it a go and "after fixing a typo" no more issues.  I'm actually getting better performance here than a couple of other pools I pointed them at.   Grin

Just fired up my Moonlanders again for giggles!
Got 4 of 6 running real easy.  The other 2 show the green LED but cant see them.  Any clues?

Sounds like your hub might not have enough power for those two, do they do the startup LED dance when you start bfgminer?

Also little thought experiment for you...you started them up just now because LTC is on a tear again...why didn't you have them running this whole time and collecting a little LTC in the background for years during the bear market, and that LTC would have been worth hundreds now?

I always tell people, best time to mine is not now, but during bear markets when difficulty is lowest and you mine the most LTC with your devices.

They do not do the dance.  I actually took them down because of the hubs I had them on burned out.  Happened on another one here recently from an auction and thought what the hey.  I've been running my Apollo though, don't worry lol.  I did apply that logic to DOGE and got laughed at until it hit that .07 cent mark the other day and I went to work with some brand new tools.

Haven't upgraded to the full node Apollo yet but I run my PC as a node to help with the decentralizing.  I'm just a balcony farmer though.

Hey just found this pool through BCT.  Really digging your layout, especially the Legacy view.  Just curious what other password commands are available, specifically if there is there a way to set min diff?  I have a couple of l3+ that I'm running and getting a ton of discarded shares on my end.
Hello!  Thank you for the design compliments Smiley

Yes we do have multiple password configuration options.

c= controls the payout coin (c=BTC or whatever coin you want to be paid in)
mc= controls the coins you want to mine, you can also specify multiple coins in one string like ( mc=GLC,NAH,PYRK,XVG ) and the pool will only mine those coins.
d= controls the diff (d=236196)
m= allows you to specify if you want to SOLO mine or PARTY mine (m=SOLO or m=PARTY.partypassword)

If you want to combine multiple options you can do so by using a comma (c=BTC,mc=LTC,d=236196)

Also feel free to join our discord for speedy help, or feel free to continue posing on this page.

Awesome, thanks for the quick response.  I did have a chance to browse this thread and noticed the responses to issues and have them resolved quickly.  That's something I really appreciate.  I did have one other question.  I have a couple of Futurebit Moonlander 2 that I just brought out of storage, in the back of the desk drawer lol, and was wondering if the pool supported bfgminer 5.4.2?  I tried it as my first setup but was getting a bunch of random weird errors and finally got them to connect to another pool.  Just curious before I changed my .bat file if they would even work pointed your way.

Bumpity Bump Bump.

Little late to the wagon train but this tool is awesome.  Took some edumacations to figure it out but after perusing the thread all the answers are there.  Big fan of yours! Keep on rocking.  Still pretty young in the game, but if my Doge goes to the moon, I'll convert it to LTC and throw you a bone lol.

bought well over dozen of them over time now regretting it badly

1st most pools are not able to mine on them aswell the apollo version miner

worst still i have 10 fans not working at all or not spinning like they used to- and at current prices be costly to buy and suffer the same results as i did

i even rented all futurebit miners on rentals and i got so many not hashing and being abused by rental admins that the rigs are crap and had my accounts suspended cause running them if i run l3 antminers no problem
Put em on LitecoinPool and donate to FutureBit lol.

my miner is acting funny. not mining.
started from scratch, new sd card, new image, new etch.
it loads up, see it on the dashboard, starts mining then goes offline within 10 seconds
starts back up.
repeat. repeat.
this pops up.
Error: ECONNREFUSED 127.0.0.1:4020
thoughts?

It's an error in your pool setup.  Are you trying to use a switching pool?  If so, disable the donation pool.
If not, double check your pool setup.
Maybe....

Hey everybody!

(just imagine that in Dr. Nick's voice, ha, now it's stuck there)

Just curious if anyone had experimented with auxiliary fans or ducting to move air out and away from your Apollo's.
I have a couple L3's that I've finally perfected some duct work with an exhaust fan and was thinking about trying to tie in the Apollo as well.
Be glad to hear thoughts, concerns, and suggestions on the build idea.
That being;
Removing the cover, side plates, and stock fan.
Putting a 120mm on the heat sink and attaching it...somehow.
Zip-ties are great.
Running that off a 12v power supply that is running my exhaust fans, which are also 120mm, and has an adjustable output to control the speed.
Attaching a 4" shroud to duct into the existing work.
One of my major concerns is that because the 120mm fan is a bit larger than the heat-sink, it will not pull enough air "through" the actual heat-sink because of its super sweet design and just pull air from the sides.
A possible fix for this would be mounting an fan with a shroud on both sides of the fan to restrict the air flow to the actual cutout of the existing fan exhaust on the cover plate.
jstefanop, is there a fan sensor safety like the L3 have or just the temp sensors?
Just to be clear, I have zero problem with the noise levels, its minimal anyway, or actual heat coming off of the Apollo.  This is just messing around.  I live in Austin so always tinkering with ideas during the summer time.
The next project will be taking on littleless's solar power setup.
Thanks y'all,
Happy Mining.

If you need any help, your answers are on the support thread or you can ask someone there.  Chances are all, all of your questions can be answered giving that a quick read.  Good luck mate and happy mining.

I feel like you are still missing the point.
Is this your first time pre-ordering something?  Most cases experience delays.  There was an email.  Only reason you didn't know is because of your own ineptitude and impatience.
As for my mocking you about wanting it on a certain day, I'm aware of what you meant.  You didn't expect that kind of communication.
I just wanted to tell you sit down and be patient while you wait for the shipping day like everyone else.
Calling jstefanop's "methods" pathetic is a cop out.  You're being rude, plain and simple.  It's not the right way to communicate while you preach about how someone should communicate.
You should do your due diligence before you make claims that someone else isn't doing theirs.
Oh yeah...still you bub.
16  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] FutureBit Project Apollo: Bringing ASIC Mining Back to the Home Miner! on: July 14, 2019, 10:52:43 PM
I'm not expecting "you'll get your order on x date."Just a simple update what's going on, where you are in the process of things, one email for a pre order with no new news is yes pathetic, I apologize if you took it or anyone took my words to offense
Boo you suck.  If you want something on a specific day, you should probably design your own, order and assemble everything on your schedule and see how that works out.
Otherwise just say thank you jstefanop for doing such an amazing job ever expanding the products and quality, then sit down and wait patiently.
The only thing pathetic here is you whining.

Btw, jstenfanop, had to re-flash my SD card the other day.  Your original instructions worked great.
Thanks a lot bud for the hard work and on point instructions.

You'll be very lucky to find a block but you will get paid for mining. Litecoinpool wont pay you for a block, its shared mining. Solo mining for a block at TBDice, but there is a thread suggesting total lack of support. Zergpool is solo, party with other apollo's, or pool mining.
I u derstand most of that.  My question is more about party mining on zergpool,  is there a reason I'm one hashing at 38 k?
Are you looking at the zergpool stats or your actual miner gui?
Zergpool shows zero my miner shows 38 k
That's based on at the time of refresh, your shares per minute, not reflective of your actual hashrate.  Use the gui to see a more realistic average of your hashrate.

New guy here..

What does "ES**" stand for when looking at the party stats? I see that some party members have a green check mark and some don't.
Extra nonce subscription, add #xnsub to your stratum add

I used this method on a used L3+ I just got off eBay.  Great instructions, thanks for laying it out.
