501  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2023/2024 on: December 16, 2023, 04:50:10 PM
Anyone here bet on Bournemouth vs Lutton?

I think this is the first time I watch (live) match suspended because of there is an injured player.
Lutton capt Tom lockyer collapse in the pitch, and I heard the commentator said that this is not the first time he collapses in the field because of Atrial fibrillation, a condition that can cause an irregular or abnormally fast heart rate.

If the player has a serious problem with his health why the Premier league still allowed him to play?

Napoli - Cagliari should be that game where a draw might be possible just because Ranieri as a coach always knows how to approach important games but on the same time his players must do all they can in order to get at least 1 point today. They also come with great mentality after a shocking victory in extra time last week against Sassuolo ( 2-1 ) so this might be another important factor for them. F

For Napoli...what can we say about them ? They really don't have a great season so far but they are good in UCL where they qualified from 2nd place and that's why I think they will focus more on UCL.

Inconsistent Napoli is like ManUtd under Solkjaer and Ten Hag. They are aware of the situation, that is why they sacked Rudi Garcia in November and replaced it with Walter Mazzari and this guy is not a new guy for Napoli.
Just give him more time, Im sure Napoli will be back to their top performance next year.
Napoli should win easily against Cagliari, they playing at home and Mazzari was an ex Cagliari coach from 2021 to 2022.

Hello CrashGambler, I visit this link https:/crashgambler.io/tournament/ to read all tournament info then I see this image:

Is there really a crash games with $0.0001 as the min bet? I have checked crash games on crashino and the min bet average is $0.1, or I miss something there?

if you follow the story, you will see the link to this story in bc.game , where he interviewed the user who placed such bet and won 550 bucks.

that is true, very rare that you can find a casino which will allow you such amount as the minimum bet. but in the mentioned casino, they are allowing it.

what i like with this site is that they really find time to interview interesting players with interesting stories. so they can share the perspectives of those players and how they did it. this may not happen to your games, but it is implying that it is indeed possible to win if you employ strategies.

Ah yes thanks for the explanation, I didnt click this link "The interview with “Anonymous1337” and his strategy reveal is a must-read!" on that page.
I thought the first tournament being held on crashino too.
Ok everything is clear now, and thanks again AmoreJaz.
504  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can I ask for refund if casino game has bugs? on: December 15, 2023, 09:33:28 PM
Actually I have ever been in that situation, I was playing a slot with $0.25 base bet and got a bonus, but after finishing the free spins, nothing came into the balance, not even a single cent.

I checked the bet history (most of the slots have the bet history) and take screenshots from transactions page, bet history, balance, etc.
But I think the screenshot + betID maybe not enough to convince them, so I decided keep playing to replicate the issue and after getting another bonus I turned on the screen recorder, and yes same issue.
The first bonus was around $14 ish, while the second one was $37 and recorded.

I contacted support and sent all the proofs, a few days later they refund the bet $0.5 (from 2 bets) + complimentary bonus $100.
They told me that they have taken down the game and ask the provider to check it.

All of the casinos must be written "We reserve the right to declare null and void any bets subject to such an error" but I think they will decide it case by case, and the most important thing is = we must have a solid proof and its not a display error.

There are many unlicensed sites offering this bet in Indonesia, and many of it already ends with a scam aka run away with players money and there is no way to report it.
Usually the scammer will close the website when someone wins big then start a new website, rinse and repeat.

Im not saying the OP is a scammer, and idk if the site has a license or not. But having a license is better than only "a trust".
For the OP, if you serious with this business, then why dont you make a license from Vietnam or Phillipines?
506  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ 2023 - FIFA Club World Cup - Saudi Arabia ⚽ on: December 15, 2023, 05:27:28 PM
- snip -

By the way, is this the last year that we are watching the world championship among clubs in this format? I know that FIFA seriously planned to reform it and multiply the number of games and participants. Starting next year, the European Champions League will be held in a new format, so it would be quite logical that this competition would also be held in a new way. But in fact, in both competitions, this will lead to the fact that only the games of the final stages (starting from 1/4) will be interesting, and everything else, as always, will be a tedious prelude (with rare exceptions, like this year’s group F in the European Champions League).

Yes still the same format,
1st round = the winner of OFC vs the winner of Saudi Pro League

2nd round = 1st round winner vs Concacaf and CAF winner vs AFC winner (Al Ittihad vs Al Ahly and Leon vs Urawa 0-1)

Semifinals= 2nd round winner vs Conmebol and AFC vs UEFA (Al Ittihad/Al Ahly vs Fluminense and Urawa vs ManCity)

Ah this tournament again, I prefer to place a bet starting from the semifinals and only bet on Both Teams To Score.
The odds usually too small for the favorite teams while they might be not play with a full team and idk why there always lot of goals in this tournament.
Here is the results from last year:

510  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2023/24 on: December 14, 2023, 09:04:46 PM
- snip - , Ancelotti should buy new strikers in the transfer window next year because Madrid are lacking strikers in the team, I don't like Joselu in the club because he is missing too many chances when playing on the pitch he will lose 3 to 4 goals before he can score one, and another thing Real Madrid don't have strong penalty taker in the team because no better striker.

Its a penalty curse for El Real in this 2023/2024 season, they failed to score twice on the Laliga and 1 in the Champions league.
Interesting fact, in the LaLiga El Real was the team with the most penalties awarded in the last season (12).
They need a strong and pure striker such as Benzema, in the last season he only failed once from 11 attempts (all competitions).

Lol I actually confused who's Harry Potter which people are discussing, it turns out "Graham Potter".

This is really a bad news, if Potter will really join Manchester United, we can expect Manchester United will relegated and play in second league. Cheesy

It's better to have Ten Hag than Potter, but it's better to sack Ten Hag for the recent worst result. Grin
Hahaha Two names that are almost the same as Potter. Lol

Graham Potter failed when he was with Chelsea and at that time he was provided with the players he wanted and still Chelsea slumped, what would happen if Man United recruited him? Isn't there a coach who is more commendable? This is just my view but the management might rate Graham Potter better than Erik Ten Hag.  Cheesy

Just think back Erik Ten Hag is bad in the current season while last season managed to finish quite well by winning another trophy, but the defeats that continue to occur make the management can't stand it.

Swansea 2018 -  finished 10th in the league (championship)
Brighton 2019 to 2022 -  finished 15th, 16th and 9th in the league
Chelsea 2022 - 11th in the league (at the time of his dismissal)

True, Potter is the specialist to bring mid team to the next level, but not sure why ManUtd wants to hire him while there are other big names in the market such as Conte and Joachim Low.
Well Conte should be a good choice for ManUtd at this moment, we can see his tracks with Juventus, Italy team, Inter, Chelsea and Tottenham.
512  Economy / Gambling / Re: 👑 CoinRoyale.com - Original Bitcoin Casino | Trusted Since 2013 ✔️ on: December 14, 2023, 03:32:15 PM
they really need to do something about bitcoin transaction fees. or fix it so those of us who only have bitcoin instead of another form of coin (i buy it thru cash app and that is all they offer) have a way to put money on the site. i wanted to add another $100 or so to my balance to gamble with on the site, but didnt do it because the fee was $51.70, no matter how little or much i deposited. this is the highest ive ever seen it in my life and i thought the few times it was over $10 before that was way too much.

i would be shocked if its not seriously stopping others of u from depositing on coinroyale who arent huge whales.

Unfortunately, all of the crypto casinos and neither all of us here on bitcointalk will be able to fix/reduce an issue with the bitcoin transaction fees.
Also the amount (BTC/USD) is not a caused of the issue, but the inputs on that transaction. Multiple inputs = bigger transaction size = bigger the fees.
Transaction fees spike in times of extreme network congestion, and there is nothing we can do about it except:

You must use a wallet where you can set the transaction fees by yourself e.g Electrum wallet.
Here is the website to check the average bitcoin fees (live) https://mempool.space/

All I can suggest now is, buy bitcoin on any app/wallet where you can control the privkeys, and import the privkeys to electrum wallet.

Lottery league is back once again! This time we finally have games with important stakes on the line and I might even trow a bet on this games and maybe even watch a game or two as some of them do have huge potential for games with a lot of goals.

So far , I like the following games : Ferencvaros - Fiorentina both to score , Legia - Alkmaar both to score , Paok - HJK under 3.5 goals , Ludogorets - Nordjs under 3.5 goals.

If this games are all green , I will comeback with 2nd round of games that will begin 2 hours later than the previous series.  Cool

Ferencvaros, Fiorentina, Legia and AZ are the teams who only failed to score once on their last 6 games.
Both teams to score is a good bet on these matches.

PAOK vs HJK, must hope HJK defense plays well today.
Ludogorets vs Nordjs, on their last games Nordjs slaughtered Ludo 7-1. Payback time with 2-0?

Good luck with these bets!

Im watching Manutd now and I heard a chorus "We want Glazers out lol"
Hard for Manutd to score without Rashford and Martial.
I think this match will end in a draw, also I will be not surprised either if Bayern win while the other match ends with a draw.
515  Economy / Economics / Re: How come both the "gas" and "fee" prices shoot up without ETH and BTC move? on: December 12, 2023, 05:47:53 PM
How much were the fees? Last night it only takes a few hours from me with 59 sats/byte (3 inputs with 1 output).
If you send it with the fee less than 35 sats/byte, then it will take ages. Maybe better to double spend the transactions or yeah use viabtc as Charles-Tim mentioned above.
Because there are almost 200k dust transactions clogged the network and only God knows when it will be confirmed or purged from the network.
Obviously depends on how much you are sending (not the same if you are sending 50 million dollars worth) but it's about at 10-11 dollars right now on average. I do not know what the size of the transaction you made, but if you paid around ten bucks then you did pay about how much everyone else pays, and that means you have done fine. The sats/byte is important, but on average is a lot more important on discussion, because everyone has different sizes, but the average of the payment is something we can all commonly think about and talk about as well.

I believe that 10 bucks is fine, but that's about as fine as it gets, anything more than that is a lot, we shouldn't be here even when the price is not above the ATH price, if there was a huge hype and 100k+ dollar bitcoin price then I would understand but at this stage, when we are just starting, it's clear that we are going to have some trouble in the near future, that should be the most important part of the deal.

with 3 inputs the size is 488 bytes, total fees 14,458 sats ($5.99)
Its small amount of money, short story: I want to send 0.003 BTC from my trust wallet balance but the fees was $22 (not cool to use 20% of the balance only for the fees) so I imported the passphrase to electrum and sent it from there.

Yeah I agree between $5 to $10 is ok when the network is clogged like now.
516  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Logic of some gamblers against math on: December 12, 2023, 05:29:47 PM
Hi guys. Someone will explain to me why gamblers have such a strange logic: if a gambler has received a huge multiplier, then he will not withdraw this money. And he will continue to play, saying, "if I'm so lucky, I'll be lucky again now."
But according to the laws of mathematics, the chance of such luck becomes much less, doesn't it?

On slots, live casino games and other original games, the previous results will not influence a future outcome.
If you said "the chance of such luck becomes much less" after win a max multi, the answer is No.
He/she may hit a max multi again, and the chance still the same as before.

Maybe you think a gambler will be lost if he keeps playing on the same slot after win a decent amount because of the house edge/rtp.
And how about if a gambler keep losing on the same slot, does he have a better chance on the next spins? the answer is No either.
Because the RTP is for the long term results and the rate determined over millions of spins.

Another example, you play Baccarat 10 times and from the 10 series = all wins by "Player" . The chance will be the same in the next round, 50-50.
Gamble fallacy will believe for the 11 rounds "Banker" will have a better chance.

518  Economy / Economics / Re: How come both the "gas" and "fee" prices shoot up without ETH and BTC move? on: December 12, 2023, 03:42:40 PM
For almost 2 days my transaction process was stuck and it had not been confirmed. It may take a week or more and it is clear that Bitcoin users are very fed up with this kind of heavy traffic. I agree that Ordinal is one of the factors inhibiting Bitcoin transactions and brings more disease when strange people are interested in adopting Ordinal. In my opinion the people who launched Ordinal are responsible for the breakdown of Bitcoin transactions, because of this congestion small investors are increasingly discouraged from buying Bitcoin for the long term especially when high gas fees also make centralized exchanges have a strong reason to withhold Bitcoin from their use.

Isn't this a loss?

How much were the fees? Last night it only takes a few hours from me with 59 sats/byte (3 inputs with 1 output).

Both team have slim chance to progress onto Round of 16 with a win and PSG's loss. The reference to the possibility of a miracle reflects the unpredictable nature of football and the potential for unexpected turns of events. Regardless of the outcome, the commitment and effort of the players will likely be crucial in navigating the challenges they face. Fans can always hope for the best, even in challenging circumstances.

Newcastle still able to qualify for the next phase even if PSG doesnt lose. Here are the possible scenarios:

PSG draw or lose against Dortmund and Newcastle win against Milan =Newcastle qualify
PSG draw against Dortmund and Newcastle lose or draw against Milan = PSG qualify
PSG lose against Dortmund and Newcastle lose against Milan = Milan qualify

Theory always looking good in the paper, but not in reality.
In the long term, the gamble will be not fun anymore with that way .
This might work for certain people who dont care about win or lose, and many people will fail because of many reasons.

It will be more simple with set daily/weekly profit target and loss limit.
