Two addresses hold 90% of the coins?
I assume those are exchanges Those are pretty even numbers for an exchange. Bter is the only exchange that really has any volume. I forgot that I had a miner running on a server for some month now. Am I rich now or on the wrong chain? 10 connections... but the money supply does not match. What happened in the last months? Network split? Why? Is there a blockexplorer?

you need some clever marketing - just sayin' The coin is totally under the radar and probably highly undervalued. Buying cheap is nice but that needs to end at some point.

Datacoin is being used in Storj development and testing ( https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=555159.0 ) for now. There can be more plans on DTC - Storj cooperation, when these plans are approved\released, I'll push this info to all DTC threads. It sounds more like Storj is trying to create a Datacoin competitor/replacement. DTC has been the first like btc was ever in it's field. This status is unchangeable like stored data in blockchain. :-) It gives unique worth to this coin |

The miners activity is definitely getting stronger day after day. It is very interesting fenomena.
GPU mining is now working for primecoin/datacoin! Regarding dtc it rather means, that lot of dissapointed xpm cpu miners connected to gpool to mine dtc at 9 diff. It explained the sudden jumping of the number of gpool dtc miners |

Could datacoin eventually be used to store critical operational data for electrical systems and eventually be used to control the operations of that system directly through application of the operational data stored in the blockchain? Could this be used to automate electrical systems operations, programming their operations based on verifiable and incorruptible data stored in the blockchain?
The original dev. explained how personal nodes chains if you will were in development. Thus could datacoin eventually be used to individually automate the control and operations of a persons electrical devices(systems) and be sure that such controls cannot be corrupted and do not fail?

Could Datacoin eventually be used to limit failure in such a system through asynchronous circuit?
How important could it be in an electronic age to have verifiable encrypted automated control over electric and electronic circuits and systems? Especially in fields such as advanced flight guidance systems development, power plants, computers, national defense systems, etc.
Does anybody understand this? I fear the dev. might have been onto this already, problem is a lot of people wouldn't want this to happen.
It is very interesting that there are more than 14000 workers are mining in gpool at this moment. The number has inreased from 2000 to 14000. |

I got a question regarding dtc mining, i believe i am running the miner correctly as per http://dtc2.xpool.xram.co/, and i have the program running, but my cpu cores have not increased in temp, what am i doing wrong ? *EDIT- Nevermind, figured it out MEPH - What are the messages in your miner console window? - How many chains/day do you have in mining by console? - What kind of processor do you have ? |

Would like to help but am currently only holding 2500ish, am in the process of buying more though  ** only ** ? Do you realise that 2500 is a huge amount for a coin with a supply of only 1.7 million ? Correcting for coin supply, that's like holding 40,000 Litecoins (in terms of proportion of the coin supply). There is movement on BTER. Over the last few days 4-figure orders have started appearing. It won't take much to attract a big interest in this coin again - it's already just popped up on Marketcap today because of everything else going down. (A bit like a dry summer in Spain when the reservoirs deplete to such a low level that church spires start appearing up through the surface of the water indicating the prescence of villages that were flooded the previous century to make way for the reservoir). If this coin gets going technically it will definitely go somewhere price ways. It is interesting that difficulty is increasing significantly for more than a week as well as primecoin. coin supply is double that. Block explorer has stuck weeks now and coinmarketcap shows faulty statistics. |

And remember that even if the chain forks, the strongest fork wins. Even if the original dev is still alive, many of us would likely mine on the fork of an active (and communicative) dev instead.
Frankly, I think we need to seriously consider a "community takeover".
I support this idea definitely. We should serch new devs. I suggest that we advertise the dev position. We should save dtc till it is possible. |

I have control over datacoin.info and only oocook5u has control over git Hi! I can see the following: Max has all of abilities to controll this project more. I vote on Max. I would like Max to take over the role of the project leader till the original devs sign their existsence. I make a pledge 10 DTC to the persons who reorganise and redesign the DTC homepage. I'm sory for the devs are missing, but the reality that this project also will be missing if it does not not have leader(s) soon. What are the opinions the mentioned things? Joehun |

is datacoin dying? i m worried....  Hi! It would be important that the block explorer do work properly and sometimes the devs say some words like "we are still working". Because the credit is very important in every case of all new products. DTC is new one and imho just few factors that make dtc stable like it exits on bter and for instance: we are talking about it on this forum. Let me repeat it is not too trustful that the devs do not say anything for days (weeks?). Let me mention my case: I have only 200 dtc, but I'm mining it, because it is most promissing coin on the table. But i'm thinking on more mining if I see it is dying. |
